It was also true that not many people in this world could control her, but Xin Yichen could control her willful behavior and at the same time, he had accepted how she was, not wanting to change a single thing about her.

Nevertheless, the late King was in a superior position as his young and minor daughter had gotten impregnated and Xin Yichen had to accept whatever the conditions of the King would be. And so he did. 

His first condition was that no one could know that Xin Yichen had married a woman who was the sole descendent of the royal house. And this was the reason, not many people knew that Tang Reine was the heir of the great Royal house, apart from few others who had heard of this but never saw what she looked like. 

His second condition was that irrespective of the gender of the first child of Tang Reine, he/she had to forsake the inheritance of the Xin family. He/she would have no relations with the Xin family except with the parents and grandparents. It meant that naturally, the kid had to take the Tang surname, and apart from Xin Yichen and his parents, no one in the Xin family would be related to the child. 

It was quite an unreasonable condition, but the Xin family was in no situation to negotiate. 

Naturally, Elder Xin was not happy with the condition of Tang Reine's father, but he bowed his head as it was his son's mistake to impregnate a minor girl, and that too the girl with royal affiliations. Also, Matriarch Xin was a kind lady who loved his son a lot and when she got to know that his son was in love with the girl, she persuaded her husband to accept the conditions. She gave the excuse that the Xin family was a very small family; there were only three members in their family at that time and there was no point in elongating the matter. So, he accepted all the conditions. 

This was the reason Ryuu was a Tang and was never announced as a son of the Xin family. 

True to his character, Xin Yichen never asked for a single thing from the Tang family and gave the best possible upbringing to his son, winning the heart of the late king. The late King then realized that there was no better man for his daughter than Xin Yichen and he had later accepted him wholeheartedly. 

Xin Yichen and Tang Reine got married a little after getting pregnant as the Tang family wouldn't want their next heir to be born illegitimate.

Giving the throne to a bastard was frowned upon by the royalty. Even though they were no royal now, their lineage still signified what they did decades ago. 

These were the few reasons why Ryuu was not a Xin but a Tang. 

However, when the late King allowed the couple to announce their marriage and the child they were blessed with, his daughter refused as she had said that it was not the time. 

Thirty-two years had passed and her time still had not come. And it seemed like for about many more years, no one would know that Xin Yichen had a son with his wife.

And as to what happened to Song Yunxi when her schemes were exposed. Tang Reine forgave him. She actually forgave him as her husband had asked her to leave her on account of their decade-old friendship, but Song Yunxi never gave up on Xin Yichen until her sister married to the Long family, because it was a universal truth that Xins and Longs couldn't be relatives. 

Later, Song Yunxi married the elder son of the Ming family who was ten years senior to her and had children with his first wife. It was all thanks to Song Lily that her sister married into the Ming family as she had persuaded her family to arrange Song Yunxi's marriage with the eldest son of the Ming family whose wife had recently died, leaving two sons behind. 

The eldest son of the Ming family's name was Ming Juting. He had taken a liking to the young and beautiful Song Yunxi in the wedding event of the Long family. 

After a few years, the couple gave birth to a daughter known as Ming Xiuying. 

Though Song Yunxi had married a very affluent man, she still didn't appear in the social circle of Beijing.

Song Lily was despised by her sister as she was the reason for getting stuck in the wedding she never wanted. To smooth the relationship between the two sisters, Song Lily arranged for a fiance for her niece with her cousin-in-law's son, namely, Huo Yusheng. And to a great extent, it helped in softening the relationship between them.
