The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

"Why were you thrown out of your previous job?" Zhenyi asked her. She was not the one who made small talk but she truly found the young lady fascinating. Ada guessed it right that Zhenyi would snap if she would ask for the box and she truly did. 

"I fell in love with someone and my sperm donor made my employer throw me out of the job," Ada replied bitterly. Remembering that heartless girl, Ada had an urge to beat someone else up. 

Zhenyi's thoughts went to Fan Bingbing at this moment. One more victim to this love. She glanced at the beautiful young lady again and sighed. What a pity. 

She remembered that Sam was not in the country as the young man announced that he needed a vacation for a month-long hospitalization, but deep down she knew he was lying; however, she didn't expose his little lies. Just because they were best friends, it didn't mean they had to tell each other about every activity of theirs. She would wait for him to come clean. 

She fixed her attention on Ada and asked in curiosity.  " Is it a crime to fall in love with someone, apart from the fact that it screws one's mind?"

Ada pursed her lips and stopped herself from making a sarcastic comment. She now knew why the woman was called the devil. This wicker tongue of hers...

"It is if you fall for a person belonging to the  same sex." Her comment caught Zhenyi's attention. 

"Ah… I get it now." Zhenyi chuckled mirthlessly." What a lucky girl!" 

"Well, the lucky girl ditched me after making me a fool in love with her." She grumbled. 

"Stop with this puppy love. Go enjoy your life and live your college life to the fullest. Not everyone gets the chance." 

"For that, you need to come out with me, Ma'am." The girl looked at with puppy eyes. 

"You are not accepting the money, are you?" Zhenyi asked the question, but she knew the answer to it. 

Like expected, Ada shook her head.

"Pass me the box." Ada passed Zhenyi the white box again and refrained from taking the gorgeous white dress out of it. It was so gorgeous that she found herself drooling over it and she wondered how her boss was not already running down the stairs wearing this piece of art. 

Zhenyi took out the dress again very gently as if she would ruin it if she pulled it any harder. It was very precious for her because of the meaning behind it. 

It was a white and light blue embroidered evening dress but in cheongsam style. If one looked at the upper portion of the dress it looked more like a cheongsam but when worn, it looked more like a western dress. The inner skirt reached her mid-thighs but the outer skirt touched the floor even with heels on. There was a slit in between the dress giving a perfect display of her long legs. 

Ada watched how beautiful the dress actually loomed on her body. It was as if it was honestly made for her in the first place. There was not even a spec of makeup on her face, but with the dress on, her face had an unusual glow.

  Her husband sure knew what to choose for his wife. 

White was truly her color. 

"Don't get any ideas, young lady. I'm not a kind woman and certainly not the type that you have just knitted in your tiny head." Zhenyi's tongue was sharp as ever but only if Long Jie was here to watch it. 

"If not for my husband, I wouldn't have stepped out of this room. Even if the world was burning in front of my eyes." Zhenyi added. 

And she was not lying either. She wanted to ignore him to avoid the problem. But how long could she avoid him and the pile of problems accumulating on her head? 

She just needed to enjoy the moment and she could do it, right for today at least? 

He was so thoughtful and always had respect for decisions. All these months, he had been by her side all day and night. There was not a time when she wanted him and he was not by her side. She was depending on her man now. 

Moreover, she didn't want to act like a jerk again. 

He was just looking out for her. She really missed him. And that was the entire truth.

"Ma'am, let me do your hair for you?" Ada asked Zhenyi.

  She was so excited to give a makeover to Zhenyi because she had the most unique facial features more than her ex-girlfriend.

  Ada scolded herself for remembering that damn girl. However, it was true that her girlfriend's raven eyes were the most striking feature on her face. She stopped herself from going down that lane again. Don't think about the heartbreaker. 

"You have really very long hair," Ada commented as she started brushing Zhenyi's hair. 

"They were not before. They have grown a few inches in the last three months and it seems like I have failed to notice it." Zhenyi's comment caused Ada's eyes to widen. 

Ada didn't meet anyone who didn't notice their body changes. Because she was one of those people, who would measure her hair's length twice a week. 

No wonder, Zhenyi failed to notice her pregnancy but she was only more than two weeks pregnant and so,  it was not her fault either. 

Once Ada was finished, she glanced at  Zhenyi from top to bottom, and nodded her head in appreciation. 

"Your husband's gonna have a hard time controlling himself tonight," Ada said and giggled. 

'Someone remind her that she was here on a job.' 

"Trust me, he has got the worst self-control. He can live with this misery called self-control and even make me miserable if he needs to." 

How badly she wanted Long Jie to lose control tonight.
