Chapter 1166: Chapter 1193: Time to Put On a Show (1)

The next day, Monday.

Windsor Myres spent a night in the hospital and only woke up past seven in the morning.

The ER doctor bluntly scolded her, instructing Ali Harris to get a registration early in the morning and have Windsor Myres visit the outpatient gynecology department.

Ali Harris complied with everything.

As soon as the doctors started working, the two of them were already waiting outside the first gynecology clinic. Windsor Myres leaned back in the chair, expressionless, showing no emotion, lost in thought.

Pregnant?

Ha.

There’s a child now.

Windsor Myres only felt it was ironic, her head ached, and she was in a daze.

Ali Harris got her a registration number, and seeing the doctor enter the clinic, he quickly helped her up.

Windsor Myres was lost in her thoughts and didn’t push his hand away, followed him in, and sat on the chair.

"Windsor Myres?" The middle-aged female doctor glanced at the registration slip, while turning on her computer and asked, "What’s the situation?"

"I saw some blood last night," Windsor Myres finally came back to her senses, looked at her and said, "The ER doctor said I might be pregnant and told me to come for a check-up."

The doctor nodded, input the information, printed out two test slips, and said directly, "Turn left at the corridor to the hall for payment, then go to the northwest corner of the second floor for a blood test, and come back with the report afterwards."

"Doctor, she was drunk and went to the ER last night, can this child still be kept?" Ali Harris quickly asked.

The female doctor frowned and glanced at him, her voice very faint, "Have you tested at home?"

Windsor Myres shook her head.

"Then let’s wait for the test results," the female doctor said coldly, perhaps unable to hold back, and with a stern face added, "Don’t you know how to take measures? Can you be a little more responsible for yourself, and don’t think you can squander your health just because you’re young. There will be times to regret it in the future. Alcohol and tobacco have particular harm to children!"

Ali Harris looked embarrassed, his face extremely unpleasant.

Windsor Myres took the slips and walked out without a word.

The female doctor glanced at her back, frowned tightly, and started attending to the second patient.

Ali Harris wanted to ask more questions, but felt too embarrassed, so he quickly chased after her, following Windsor Myres to the hall for payment.

Just as work hours began, there weren’t many people lining up for payment and tests, so the two didn’t get delayed much. Before ten o’clock, they’d paid and done the blood test, being informed to collect the report at two in the afternoon.

They had breakfast at the hospital entrance, but Windsor Myres was becoming impatient.

She bought two pregnancy tests from a pharmacy across the hospital, testing them herself in the hospital restroom.

Both came back weakly positive.

Pregnant, just early on.

She threw away the pregnancy tests and sat back, dazing at the hospital hall.

Ali Harris sat beside her, searched on his phone, and cautiously said, "Drinking alcohol and smoking during early pregnancy can lead to fetal deformities, and given how much you’ve been drinking, the child definitely shouldn’t be kept."

Windsor Myres glanced at him, "Ha."

Not keep it?

Why shouldn’t she?

Camden River’s child, whether deformed or not, she would give birth to it.

Didn’t he want to avoid any further entanglement with her? But she’s not letting it happen! Why should she quietly have an abortion just because he’s proposing to Tong Tong? She won’t, she’ll make sure to keep and give birth to this child.

Camden River shouldn’t expect to be at ease so easily.
