Chapter 1115: Chapter 1142: Hiring a Nutritionist (4)

This industry of nutritionists is somewhat related to their field of medicine, and Robert’s influence in the professional domain is somewhat known to him. Therefore, he’s quite curious about him personally, as it’s said that he is a natural gentleman.

"Didn’t they say he’d arrive soon? It’s still early; let’s wait a while longer," Mia Ginger whispered in his ear.

Koa Jackson simply nodded and raised his hand to gently hold her.

——

At eight-thirty in the evening.

Gideon Jackson and Mr. Robert entered the Jackson Family’s hall.

Robert was in his early forties, about one meter eighty in height, wearing a dark gray suit. With blond hair and blue eyes, his face was gentle, and from afar to close, his sharp features became more vividly apparent to everyone present.

His facial features are profound and striking, with a high nose and deep-set eyes. The dark gray suit accentuated his well-proportioned and tall figure, and his golden hair was neatly groomed, giving an impression of reliability and steadiness. A smile revealed his elegant demeanor, making people feel like a spring breeze and generating immediate goodwill.

Old Master Jackson was helped to his feet by Butler Jackson and smiled, "Sir, welcome from afar."

Zane Jackson had mentioned earlier that Mr. Robert is fluent in six languages and has delivered more than a hundred health-related seminars in various cities overseas. The philosophy of a nutritional lifestyle has already spread globally through his actions, so Old Master Jackson directly greeted him in Chinese.

After his greeting, others naturally followed suit with smiles and greetings.

Mr. Robert was naturally pleased, smiling broadly and saying, "No need for formalities, I’m very glad to meet everyone. In the days to come, please provide guidance. I believe it will be a delightful time."

His amiable and humble nature made the old master very satisfied. After some casual chat, he had Butler Jackson accompany him to his room.

With the shadows of the two disappearing from sight, he felt relieved and said with a smile, "This person seems quite nice."

"Can you rest easy now?" Lydia Williams also smiled along.

The old master glanced at her, nodded, and gestured to Daniella Jackson to help him back to his room to rest.

Having met the person, Koa Jackson then took Mia Ginger back to their room.

Only Lydia Williams remained in the living room.

Standing there lost in thought, the corners of her lips curved into a satisfied smile. She then stepped out of the hall, casually calling a servant to accompany her to Robert’s room.

She encountered Butler Jackson at the door.

"Madam."

"Well, since Zane is not around, I feel uneasy. We can’t neglect anybody, so I came by to see if there’s anything else needed," Lydia explained with a gentle voice.

"It’s late, and I thought Mr. Robert might be tired after his journey. We planned to discuss other matters tomorrow," Butler Jackson replied.

"That’s sensible," Lydia nodded. "But we mustn’t be negligent on this first night. Although he’s here to care for Dad and Mia, he is still a valued guest of our family."

"Understood, please be assured," Butler Jackson said.

In the midst of their conversation, Mr. Robert came out, smiling, "Thank you, madam, for your care."

"Have you had dinner?" Lydia turned to ask him.

"I had a meal on the plane," Robert smiled, "I’ve no needs for the evening, thank you for your concern."

"It’s my duty," Lydia nodded.

With the gesture of greeting complete, she smiled at Butler Jackson and said, "Since that’s the case, I can relax. I’ll head back to rest then."

"Take care," Butler Jackson nodded, allowing her to proceed first.

As their figures disappeared from sight, Robert turned to return to his room, a smile appearing on his refined and gentle face. His smile carried a hint of playfulness and interest, while also seeming to contain a certain eager excitement and a sense of confident satisfaction, so complex that it was momentarily puzzling.

With his smile, his deep blue eyes also shone, as if he had already seen something very intriguing.

A centenarian still robust and healthy is quite fascinating.

Without turning his head, Robert closed the door with one hand behind his back.

——

As night deepened, the whole house settled into quiet.

Mia Ginger was lying on the bed, pondering over things.

As Koa Jackson finished washing up and emerged, she looked at him and smiled, "There’s something I want to discuss with you."

"Go ahead," Koa said as he lifted the covers and sat beside her.

Mia Ginger pressed her lips, tentatively saying, "I attended an interview at school this afternoon, um, for a trainee anchor position. The results might be out by tomorrow."

Koa Jackson was slightly surprised, "So?"

"If I’m accepted, I’ll have to start working," Mia continued.

Koa Jackson thought for a moment, then earnestly said, "You saw Grandpa’s reaction; your pregnancy is a serious matter to him. Naturally, he hopes you can stay home and focus on your pregnancy."

"I’ve thought it through, it won’t be too strenuous," Mia muttered softly.

Old Master Jackson agreed for Lydia and Zane to go to such lengths to hire an international professional nutritionist, which actually puts a bit of pressure on her; though understanding the old master’s anxiety and care, it’s difficult for her to stay home all day focusing on pregnancy.

In fact, her morning sickness wasn’t too severe, only making her sleepier than usual.

Looking at her, Koa Jackson felt a mix of emotions and, after a while, softly said, "You’re no longer a child, and now you’re carrying twins. Taking a break temporarily is not a big deal; don’t stress yourself over the career side, okay?"

From the moment she knew she was pregnant, this girl didn’t seem worried at all.

Mia Ginger was also helpless, "I understand what you’re saying, but I just want to do something within my ability. Can’t I? Would you talk to Grandpa for me? I don’t dare to, worried he’d be anxious."

"Even if I talk to him, he’d be just as anxious," Koa Jackson said, pressing his hand to his brow.

In the old master’s eyes, this girl is like a giant panda in the family right now; how could he let her go out to work safely?

If something were to happen, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Not only for the old master but even he himself doesn’t want the worry.
