Mikha’s golden eyes widened in startled disbelief, and her hands rose instinctively as though to ward off the words that had just been spoken.

"B-B-But... that is a bit..."

"What are you dissatisfied with?" Sys asked, still speaking without much inflection. The golden eyes bored into Mikha without mercy or warmth, patient and unrelenting. "Master already has a lot of power, so I do not want him to receive any more. At least not at he moment. However, your grace would be sufficient. It is a factor that would empower and bless him without weighing him down... Kiss Master and give him your grace."

"Uhm... I... I am not entirely sure what I should say or how I should say it..."

Her golden eyes darted around the quiet room, avoiding the glowing gaze that watched her from the bed.

Her fingers twisted together in front of her, knotting and unknotting, folding and unfolding, as though the small motion might somehow anchor her against the absurdity of what she was being asked to do.

"I have never kissed anyone before. And he is sleeping too, he cannot consent to anything. Can we not wait till he is awake?"

"No. I do not want master to know of your existence," Sys answered at once, the golden eyes unblinking, the voice flat and absolute. "I will explain how he got the grace when he awakens. For now, spare your assistance."

Mikha raised one brow, studying the flat, luminous stare of Sys more carefully.

There was something in that unwavering gaze that did not quite fit—something that suggested a will operating behind the words, a preference that went beyond simple duty, a choice that perhaps even the speaker did not fully understand.

"You would deceive your master? I did not know an Ego Partner was capable of such a thing?" Suspicion seeped into her voice, slow and deliberate, each word placed with care. "Are you sure you are even an Ego Partner?"

"It doesn’t matter what I am," Sys replied, tone still level and unmoved. "It does not matter what I am called or how I am classified. What matters is that I will serve him forever. That is the only thing that matters. Kiss him and go away."

Silence stretched between them, long and heavy. Mikha remained where she stood, as she continued to watch the golden eyes.

The moonlight shifted across the floor, marking the passage of time in slow, silver increments, and still she did not move.

"...Why the wait?" Sys asked, and there was something in the question that sounded almost like impatience and discomfort.

"Sys, could it be you are jealous of me?" Her voice carried a light, teasing lilt, almost playful, almost cruel in its gentleness. "Do you fear your master will be interested in my beautiful for—"

"How unsightly." For the first time the voice carried a clear edge—something close to anger, sharp and sudden. "You have not yet done what I asked of you. I will make sure Master never helps this city."

"Ah, forgive me!"

She moved at once. The distance to the bed closed in a rush, the long violet hair swaying across her bare back with each quick step.

Her face burned hotter than before, but the warning in Sys’s tone left no room for further delay, and no room for anything except obedience. She leaned down over the sleeping man.

The first contact was firm and uncertain—closed lips pressed to closed lips, the simple pressure of an unpracticed mouth against one that could not respond, could not react, could not do anything except remain soft and warm and utterly passive.

Then she felt how soft his lips actually were, warmer than she expected, yielding under the lightest touch.

A small, surprised sound escaped her, muffled against his mouth. She adjusted, pressing more carefully, then let her teeth graze the lower lip in a tentative bite.

The soft give of it pulled her deeper. Her tongue slipped out, tracing the seam, before she pushed forward with clumsy eagerness.

The heat of her mouth met his; she licked deeper, exploring the taste and the quiet warmth, her breath coming shorter as the kiss turned wetter and less coordinated.

One hand braced against the mattress beside his head. Her hair fell forward in a violet curtain, brushing his cheek and the pillow.

She tilted her head, trying to find a better angle, and kissed him again—longer this time, lips parting and closing, tongue moving with growing curiosity rather than skill.

A soft, internal chime registered only to Sys.

{Received: [Grace of Mikha, the god of protection]. Gifts and abilities will be analyzed and implemented when master’s body is in better condition:

{All defense-adjacent abilities have been upgraded and strengthened.}

"Wait. That is enough!" Sys’s voice rose sharply. The analysis cut off at once. "Desist from kissing him now! Stop what you are doing!"

"Ehhh? But it appears to be more interesting than I thought."

Her reply was almost playful.

And instead of pulling away she sank back into the kiss, mouth moving with renewed interest, the earlier awkwardness softening into something warmer and more deliberate.

Soft, wet sounds filled the quiet space between them. Her free hand rose, fingertips brushing the side of Benjamin’s face as she continued.

But suddenly—

The door opened, and everyone froze.

A green-haired elf stood in the doorway, green eyes wide, staring at the strange, beautiful, half-naked woman bent over the bed and kissing a golden-eyed Benjamin who should have been deeply asleep.

"Wh... Who are you...?"

She jerked upright.

For a single heartbeat she met Eric’s shocked gaze, then her expression shifted into bright, deliberate volume.

"I will return to thank him one day!" she declared, already spinning toward the open window.

Her violet hair streamed behind her as she vaulted the sill and vanished into the night air.

"Do not come back again!" Sys called after her, the flat voice now clearly edged with annoyance.

Sys spoke once more, calm and measured, directed at the elf still frozen in the doorway.

"Worry not, Erica. This is just a dream. You are sleepwalking."

Eric jolted.

He looked around the darkened room—the closed door behind him, the open window.

When he looked back at Benjamin there was no trace of golden light in his eyes. Only the steady rise and fall of peaceful sleep.

"Huh? Was I truly imagining it?" he murmured to himself.

He crossed to the window and leaned out, scanning the low ground below and the quiet street.

Nothing moved. No figure remained. After a long moment he drew the window shut and latched it.

Turning to leave, he paused for one last glance at Benjamin’s sleeping form. A small, private smile touched his mouth.

"A sleeping goddess... Ehehe."

The soft giggle stayed quiet.

He stepped out, closed the door carefully behind him, and left the room to its silence.
