Chapter 94: Chapter 94: The Price of Gifts

Lucien was quite surprised upon hearing this. He was surprised that Miles had appeared nearby, and equally surprised that the system had suddenly popped up to warn him about this matter.

"I remember that normally, aside from handing me those bizarre missions, you never show your face. Why so useful today?"

[It is because you are far too useless.]

???

Was this system actively trying to pick a fight with him?

[The main system has instructed me to assist you in swiftly completing the main quest of this world so you can proceed to the next world. You cannot remain here for too long, otherwise, the symptoms of being rejected by the world will manifest once again.]

"Oh..." Lucien softly hummed a sound in his mind: "So, tell me again, who exactly is the useless one? You cannot even manage to keep your host anchored to this world, yet you have the nerve to scold me for being useless."

The system...

That damned system of Lucien immediately disconnected and played dead.

Seeing that the system was playing dead, Lucien did not bother paying it any further attention. He was trying to calculate what sort of tricks Miles could possibly be planning, but the more the youth thought about it, the more his head ached. Thus, Lucien decided to head inside. He would look for an opportunity to drop a hint to Dominic Vance about this matter.

Even though Lucien never put Miles in his eyes, he understood perfectly well that a mad dog would bite people when pushed. At present, he had not yet completed his mission, so he still had to cherish this little life of his very much.

If there was a way so that when Dominic Vance truly fell madly in love with him, he would die at the hands of Miles, that would certainly be magnificent. At that time, it would be killing two birds with one stone. He could complete the mission of this world just like that, and simultaneously borrow the hands of that pervert Dominic Vance to take revenge for the original owner of this body.

"Where did you go?" Dominic Vance appeared right beside him, his arm naturally wrapping around Lucien’s waist.

"I just went outside to get a breath of fresh air." The sudden appearance of the man also caused Lucien to startle, but he adjusted his composure very quickly. Seeing that this distance was quite close to the large windows, Lucien guessed that there were quite a few angles from the outside that could still look into this spot. And so, he smiled, suddenly standing up on his tiptoes to plant a light kiss on Dominic’s cheek: "Thank you for tonight."

Dominic Vance was slightly surprised, but then his gaze became much gentler. He leaned down, whispering softly into Lucien’s ear: "Let us head back to the room. I have a gift for you."

Lucien’s heart skipped a beat. He did not know what this "gift" the man spoke of could possibly be. But no matter what it was, he still had to mentally prepare himself to deal with it.

After all, in this world of domineering CEO novels, absolutely nothing came for free. Every single gift had its own price. And as for Lucien, he was already completely prepared to pay the price, using his own body and his utterly flawless acting skills.

At least, that would be the case until he could find a way to escape from this damned world.

Dominic Vance held Lucien’s hand and pulled him up toward the room. The banquet had not yet entirely dispersed, and downstairs, there were still a few guests murmuring in conversation, but the man seemed to not care about them in the slightest. Lucien allowed Dominic to hold his hand, while his mind wandered idly, wondering if tonight he would have to pay the price for whatever gift this was.

Upon returning to the room, Lucien saw a black velvet box tied with a silver ribbon resting on the tea table. One look was enough to know it was an incredibly expensive item.

"That is your gift." Dominic Vance stood leaning against the door, both of his hands tucked into his trouser pockets: "Open it and take a look."

Lucien stepped forward and opened the box. Inside lay a platinum necklace, featuring a deep blue sapphire pendant cut into the shape of a teardrop. Beneath the illumination of the lights, the gemstone sparkled brightly, looking exactly like the luxury jewelry advertisements shown on television.

Naturally, being a pampered young master in his past, Lucien himself had seen more than a few items just like this one. However, he did not know whether Lucien Sinclair in this world had experienced such a luxurious life or not, but regardless of whether he had, he still needed to put on a proper show to make this man happy first.

And so, he widened his eyes in awe. "It is truly beautiful..."

"Let me put it on for you."

Dominic Vance walked over and lifted the necklace. The man’s hands threaded through Lucien’s hair, fastening the clasp at the back of his neck. The sapphire rested neatly against his fair, white collarbone, and it genuinely looked like a perfect match.

Lucien looked down at the gemstone. "But... doesn’t it look too weird for me to wear this?"

What kind of man would wear a gemstone-studded necklace that looked exactly like a piece of jewelry meant for noble ladies like this?

"If you wore it out on the streets, it probably would be, but in here..." Dominic Vance did not finish his sentence. Instead, the tips of the man’s fingers gently trailed along the chain of the necklace, coming to a stop directly on Lucien’s collarbone, before pressing and rubbing against it lightly.

There was no need to speak to understand the meaning behind Dominic’s words. Lucien could only feign shyness: "You have already given me a gift. I... I do not have anything to give to you, so how about... I become your gift?"

Dominic Vance said nothing, merely staring at him intently. His gaze darkened considerably, a type of look that Lucien was already extremely familiar with. Every single time Dominic looked at him like that, it was a guaranteed certainty that he would not be allowed to go to sleep early that night.

Lucien gently pushed Dominic to sit down on the edge of the bed, and then he knelt down between the man’s legs. He raised his eyes to look up, trying his best to appear both innocent and inviting. The sapphire on his collarbone sparkled brilliantly under the light. Indeed, this kind of thing was not very suitable for a man.

But when placed upon Lucien’s body, it looked incredibly beautiful.

His fingers pulled at the zipper of Dominic’s tailored trousers. The rustling sound echoed with distinct clarity within the quiet room. Lucien glanced up to look at the man one more time, and his shyly flushed cheeks only served to make Dominic’s breathing turn increasingly heavy and hurried.

Then, Dominic Vance watched as the youth kneeling between his legs resorted to an old trick, leaning forward to use his teeth to pull Dominic’s underwear down.

The member sprang free, lightly tapping against his cheek. Lucien briefly recoiled on pure reflex, but then he took a deep breath, reminding himself to recall the various lessons from the previous days.

The first step was licking.

He stuck out his tongue, licking a single stroke from the base all the way up to the tip, moving as slowly as if he were licking a melting ice cream cone. Every time his tongue glided over the faint blue veins standing out beneath the layer of skin, he could feel it twitch slightly. Dominic Vance’s breathing also began to quicken.

"Very good." Dominic whispered. He threaded his hand into Lucien’s hair, gently rubbing and stroking it as though he were comforting the youth.

Encouraged by the praise, Lucien grew bolder. He took the head into his mouth, sucking gently. The strong scent of a man assaulted his senses once again, but he was accustomed to it now, no longer feeling repulsed like the very first time. The tip of his tongue swirled around the crown, licking away the drop of clear pre-seminal fluid that had just seeped out.

"Mmn..." Dominic Vance let out a low, soft groan from the back of his throat.

Lucien continued to swallow it even deeper.

He remembered the words Dominic Vance had once taught him: relax the throat, and breathe through the nose. Taking a deep breath, he relaxed his neck muscles, allowing the intrusive object to advance deep inside. The tip brushed against the back of his throat, bringing a sensation that was both uncomfortable and highly stimulating. This time, he did not choke, which could certainly be considered an improvement.

Lucien held that position for a few seconds, and then he slowly lifted his head upward. A silver thread of saliva connected from his lips to the tip; it looked a bit gross, but he decided to simply ignore it.

"You learn fast." Dominic Vance praised, his voice having already grown hoarse. He reached out a hand to wipe away the stray teardrop that had welled up at the corner of Lucien’s eye.

Lucien lowered his head once again. This time, he coordinated the movement with his hands. One hand fondled and kneaded the two orbs below, while the other hand pressed lightly against Dominic’s lower abdomen, executing the exact routine the man had taught him. His mouth moved up and down in a steady rhythm, trying to swallow just a bit deeper on the way down, and using the tip of his tongue to swirl around the crown on the way up.

"Ngh..." Dominic Vance could not hold back and groaned aloud. His abdominal muscles tightened and contracted, a reaction that Lucien could feel clearly beneath the palm of his hand.
