Chapter 302: Chapter 302: Meeting The Dragons - 2

With Hela, Tiana, Avenya, Grace, and now the reunited Nivara clinging to his arm, Damian continued farther toward the center of the Grand Golden Dragon Palace.

The other women glanced at Nivara, narrowing their eyes at her with unmistakable jealousy.

Despite the fact that there were no lamps within the palace and not a single opening through which sunlight could enter, the entire interior remained brilliantly illuminated, as though the palace were standing beneath the open sky with sunlight shining directly upon it.

It was certainly magical.

But compared to the palace itself, such a phenomenon was hardly anything worth being impressed by.

It was merely a small and insignificant feature of this magnificent place.

Eventually, Damian and the others arrived at what appeared to be the central throne hall of the Golden Palace.

The sight before them was breathtaking.

The enormous hall was adorned with magnificent flooring, luxurious carpets, elaborate tapestries, intricately embroidered coverings, and countless decorative pillars standing along the long carpeted path that led toward the throne.

Crystal chandeliers hung from the vast ceiling, their designs accented with shades of red and crimson.

Above them stretched incredibly high vaulted ceilings, covered in intricate carvings that resembled overlapping dragon scales.

Along the sides of the grand hall stood beautifully sculpted statues depicting various types of dragons, each one carved with astonishing detail.

And at the very end of the hall stood a massive golden dragon statue.

The enormous dragon stood directly behind a gigantic crimson throne, its imposing figure giving the impression that it was guarding and protecting the throne itself.

"Damn, I have never seen a more grandiose-looking throne hall than this..." Tiana muttered, staring at the magnificent sight before her in astonishment.

"My beloved wife, if you want, I could prepare a great place within this castle for you to live," Damian said when he noticed the excitement sparkling in Tiana’s eyes.

"Really?" Tiana asked, her eyes lighting up even more.

"If you want, of course. It would only take a minute," Damian answered, gently rubbing her white-haired head affectionately.

"Hmm. I would rather be wherever my husband goes." Tiana shook her head.

"Until things settle down, all I will be doing is travelling around the universe, dealing with different matters and solving whatever problems and troubles might arise throughout the universe."

Damian paused for a moment before continuing.

"Although I would like to have you all accompany me, I would prefer not to take my wives to some of these places. Some of them could be extremely dangerous. Even with me by your side, not every place in the universe will be safe enough for you."

Damian had already told them this before.

Many of his wives wanted to accompany him wherever he went.

Normally, this would not have been a problem.

Damian possessed the ability to take them anywhere in the universe, regardless of the distance.

The problem was that not every place in the universe was suitable for them.

There were countless environments that could be extremely dangerous, even with Damian right beside them and protecting them.

Among all of his wives, the one who wanted to explore the universe alongside her husband the most was undoubtedly Tiana Valthryne.

"But I promise to take you with me if the place is suitable enough, all right?" Damian asked, gently rubbing her cheeks with his thumb.

"Okay." Tiana nodded.

The disappointment that had appeared on her face moments ago vanished almost instantly.

Meanwhile, the Dragon Goddess, Nivara Zharkrin, simply watched the interaction in silence.

She was surprised by just how much her master had changed.

The master she had once known had become so different from the person standing before her now.

He was affectionate toward his wives, openly caring for them and treating them with warmth.

Seeing this side of him filled Nivara with a strange sense of excitement.

Her heart fluttered at the thought.

Now that she had finally reunited with her master, perhaps she too would eventually become one of them.

"Master, isn’t this the throne where the supposed weapon of the Golden Dragon Emperor was hidden?" Nivara asked curiously.

As far as she could see, there was no weapon anywhere in the throne hall.

There was only the overly magnificent throne, with a golden statue of a Western dragon seated behind it.

"Who says it’s hidden? It’s right in front of you." Damian smiled as he walked toward the throne.

"It’s not hidden?"

Question marks seemed to appear above the heads of all the women present.

Ignoring their confused expressions, Damian approached the throne.

However, instead of sitting upon it as the women expected, he walked past it and reached out to touch the head of the golden dragon statue.

Then, he spoke in the Dragon Tongue.

"Reveal yourself... VOR ZHARAK VEL!"

A thick, almost monstrous voice erupted from Damian’s mouth, resounding throughout the entire Golden Dragon Palace in the ancient Dragon Tongue.

The next second, the golden dragon statue behind the throne suddenly began to glow with a faint golden light.

The light rapidly intensified, illuminating the entire throne hall before the statue suddenly transformed into nothing more than a ball of ethereal golden light.

The ball of light floated toward Damian as though it were being drawn to his very presence.

The moment it arrived before him, it released a powerful wave of energy.

Then, the golden light began to twist and mold itself, gradually taking the shape of a spear.

As the light faded, its true form was finally revealed.

The Spear of the Golden Dragon Emperor.

The Celestial Dragon Spear.

It was a beautiful spear that seemed to have been crafted entirely from gold, and in truth, it was.

Its shaft was designed to resemble overlapping dragon scales, each scale outlined in crimson.

The head of the spear took the form of a dragon’s head, and from its open mouth protruded a long, sharp, silvery blade.

The magnificent spear gently descended into Damian’s hand.

"The Celestial Dragon Spear... It is supposed to be the strongest spiritual spear weapon in the entire universe, far stronger than even the weapon chosen by the former Vampire Progenitor, Recna, the Spear of Torment," Nivara muttered as she stared at the spear in Damian’s hand.

As a higher-ranking Pure-Blooded Dragon and a Dragon Goddess, she was particularly attracted to the strange presence emanating from the spear.

She simply couldn’t take her eyes off it.

The spear was no less magnificent than the Golden Dragon Palace itself.

In fact, in some ways, it felt even more magnificent.

"You mean this?" Damian smiled.

The next instant, a ball of red lightning shot out from his chest before transforming into a blood-red and black spear.

The moment it appeared, a murderous aura erupted from it, causing the atmosphere around them to grow heavy.

The spear descended into Damian’s other hand.

"Wait... Is that Recna? The Spear of Torment? When did you obtain it, Master?"

There was no question in Nivara’s mind about how her master had obtained it.

She knew exactly who her beloved master was and what he was capable of.

Therefore, the only question that mattered was when he had obtained it.

"I obtained it sometime before I became the Vampire Progenitor," Damian casually replied.

"Master, what do you mean you became the Vampire Progenitor?" Nivara asked, looking at her master with a confused expression.

"I became the Vampire Progenitor. What else could it mean?" Damian looked at her, wondering what exactly she found confusing. But after a moment, he understood.

"Heh, you were in dragon sleep, weren’t you?" Damian asked with a chuckle.

"Yeah. Why? Did I miss something?" Nivara looked at the women, seemingly expecting them to explain.

"How can you not even bother to see what’s happening? How can you sleep through everything that happened? You are a goddess, for All-Mother’s sake! Albeit an amateur one, but still! Master becoming the Progenitor of myriad races and then becoming the Primordial Progenitor is a universal event! How can you not have any knowledge of it, even if you were in dragon sleep?" Hela asked in an incredulous tone.

"Well, I tend to block everything out when I’m sleeping, so..." Nivara shrugged casually, looking as innocent as a child.

"Well, a lot happened..." Grace began.

The women then proceeded to tell Nivara everything that had happened, starting from the very first day when Damian was still just a normal human living on Earth and the System had descended, all the way up to everything that had happened since then and the reason they were here at the moment.

"Whoa... A lot really did happen..." Nivara said, her expression filled with shock and amazement as she looked at her master with even greater admiration.

She had just learned how Damian had gone from being an ordinary human to becoming as powerful as a Primordial.

He had become the Progenitor of all the superior races in the universe and was even on the verge of becoming the Progenitor of the dragons.

Then, Nivara suddenly remembered something.

"Master, the Five Great Dragon Rulers... They won’t just stand still now that the Golden Dragon Palace has appeared," Nivara said with concern.

The Five Great Dragon Rulers were the five rulers of the five Dragon Kingdoms that made up the entire dragon race. Nivara herself was one of those rulers.

She was the Northern Dragon Ruler.

Aside from her, there were still four other Dragon Rulers.

They were the five strongest dragons in the entire dragon race, and like all dragons by nature, they were proud and greedy for power.

Knowing that the Golden Dragon Palace had appeared, they certainly wouldn’t remain idle.

They would surely come to claim it for themselves, especially after learning that whichever dragon obtained the Celestial Dragon Spear could become the next Golden Dragon Emperor.

"Oh, them? They’re already here," Damian simply said with a small smile.
