The Supreme Village Doctor
Chapter 261 - 262: Miss Qiu
Chapter 261: Chapter 262: Miss Qiu
The very next day, Zeng Qing personally arrived with two thousand small wild chicks.
Upon seeing the farm, which was still under construction, Zeng Qing couldn’t help but click his tongue in admiration. "I never would have guessed you’d build such a nice farm out here. It’s huge! And the environment is perfect for it."
Li Yang said smugly, "Boss Zeng, we might end up stealing your business."
Zeng Qing laughed. "I wouldn’t mind that at all. By the way, I heard you’re about to build a feed mill, right? Let me be the first to say, you have to be our supplier when it’s ready."
"Deal!"
Since an expert like Hua Lvlan was on-site, Zeng Qing simply dropped off the delivery and left.
There wasn’t much else for Li Yang to do there, so he soon headed back as well.
Just then, Qin Susu arrived again.
"You’re really something else, making big moves in the village day after day!" Qin Susu said as she walked in.
Li Yang smiled. "Not as big as the moves you’re making. Speaking of which, the water’s selling well in the complex, right?"
"Extremely well!" Qin Susu said happily. "Ren Jing is a real talent. Our company has a good amount of cash on hand now, so I’m getting ready to build the road."
"That’s great!" Li Yang was a little envious. "You’re building the road from our village to Cold Water Lake, right?"
"That’s right!" Qin Susu nodded. "If we don’t get that road paved, it’s a huge hassle for our vehicles. By the way, when are you paving the roads inside the village?"
"I’ve been thinking about that too!" Li Yang said with a frown. "It’ll cost several million, and I haven’t earned that much yet."
Qin Susu looked at him sympathetically.
"Oh, I almost forgot. The owner of the pet shop in the complex wants you to stop by when you have time. She said there’s some difficult issue. She’s been a great help to us lately, constantly recommending our water to the residents."
"Oh, is that right..." Li Yang nodded. "Alright, I’ll give her a call."
He called the pet shop.
"President Li..." the owner said with a laugh. "I take it President Qin spoke to you?"
"No need to be so formal!" Li Yang wasn’t used to being called ’President’. "By the way, how should I address you?"
"Just call me Xiaotao," the owner said with a laugh. "There’s something I was hoping you could help me with. A resident here bought a dog, but it’s very aggressive. They brought it to our shop for professional training, but even we can’t handle it... If word gets out, it’ll be bad for our reputation. I was wondering if you could come and help?"
The pet shop had helped him in the past, and Li Yang had promised to return the favor if they ever needed it, so he agreed without hesitation. "Alright, wait for me there. I’ll head over now. By the way, is your client available?"
"Yes!" Xiaotao said happily. "You can come over now. I’ll coordinate with her."
"Okay!" Li Yang nodded and immediately drove to Huaye Mansion.
When he arrived at the pet shop, he found it was quite busy.
"Come in, have a seat," Xiaotao said, pouring Li Yang a glass of water. "Your water is selling really well in the complex."
"Is it?" Li Yang chuckled. "I wouldn’t know. President Qin is managing all of that."
"Everyone says it’s delicious," Xiaotao said with a nod. "We have some very picky residents here, but even they say your water tastes great after trying it."
"By the way, have you been able to reach the client?" Li Yang asked.
"Not yet..." Xiaotao said apologetically. "She said she won’t be back until around seven this evening."
’Around seven, huh?’
Li Yang glanced at the time. It was already past five o’clock.
"That’s fine. I can wait for her."
He had dinner at Xiaotao’s shop. After the meal, the customers gradually thinned out.
Around seven-thirty, a woman finally walked into the shop.
Li Yang froze for a moment when he saw her.
The woman was quite tall, around five-foot-nine. She was wearing casual clothes that didn’t show off her figure, but one could still faintly discern its fine shape.
However, the woman had a cold expression that made people want to keep their distance.
"Miss Qiu!" Xiaotao went up to greet her. "Here, where’s Copper Coins?"
Miss Qiu was holding the leash of a Poodle. It looked very small, but its eyes were wary, giving everyone a hostile stare.
"Come here, Copper Coins, let me hold you, okay?" Xiaotao beckoned to the dog.
"WOOF..." But Copper Coins immediately started barking at her.
"See? This is what I mean," Xiaotao whispered to Li Yang.
Li Yang took one look. "I see. Let me handle it."
With that, Li Yang started to step forward.
"Who is he?" Miss Qiu frowned, clearly unhappy at the idea of Li Yang touching her dog.
"He’s our special consultant," Xiaotao said, fabricating a title on the spot.
"Special consultant?" Miss Qiu wasn’t so easily convinced. She eyed Li Yang with suspicion.
Li Yang shrugged. "That’s right, I am the special consultant. Your dog’s problem isn’t that serious. It’s just having trouble adapting to a new environment, and it’s a bit more temperamental than most..."
