Besides, Li Yang was well-built and handsome, and Tang Ru soon found her defenses crumbling.

But just then, Li Yang stopped and said with a grin, "I must say, Boss Tang, it’s not very nice to try and set me up like this."

Tang Ru was startled. ’He saw through it?’

She was flustered, but quickly recovered and said, "Don’t be ridiculous. What do you mean, trying to set you up? I sincerely invited you here to discuss a partnership."

"A partnership?" Li Yang chuckled, suddenly getting up and sitting down in a chair.

Just then, He Gang and his men, realizing the video feed had cut out, burst through the door and rushed in.

They were carrying things in their hands.

"Fuck, you motherfucker, you dare touch my wife!" He Gang snarled, stepping forward.

But when he looked, he froze. His wife’s clothes were indeed in disarray, but Li Yang was sitting calmly in a chair, smiling right at him.

He Gang cursed under his breath. ’What the hell is going on?’

"Boss Tang, what’s going on?" Li Yang asked, looking at them in mock surprise. "Why did they suddenly burst in here?"

He Gang was a bit embarrassed. ’Damn it... The trap failed.’

Tang Ru knew Li Yang had seen through their plan, but they were in too deep to back down now. She declared, "Why? Because you assaulted me! That’s why they came in!"

"That’s right!" He Gang finally caught on. It didn’t matter what had or hadn’t happened; this was their only play now. "You dared to assault my wife. You must have a death wish."

"Yeah!" the goons behind him immediately shouted to build up the pressure.

Li Yang couldn’t help but shake his head. "You know, Boss Tang, I genuinely wanted to discuss business, but you had to pull a stunt like this. What’s the point?"

"President Li..." Tang Ru felt a surge of smugness. "I did come here to talk business. I just never expected you to be so overcome by lust. If we take this to the police, I’m sure it would be very bad for your reputation, right? So how about we settle this privately?"

Li Yang laughed. ’So they really came prepared.’

"And how would you like to do that?" Li Yang asked, feigning concern.

His reaction seemed to excite them.

’Fucking right he’s scared!’

"Simple. You give us what we want, and we can settle this privately."

"And what is it you want?"

"President Li, we want your massage technique!" Tang Ru giggled. "We’re not asking for money, see? This is an easy negotiation. Teach us the technique, and we’ll call it even. You go on with your business, I’ll go on with mine. How about it?"

Li Yang smiled and shook his head. "I’m very sorry, but my technique is not for sale. Besides, I’ve already promised someone I wouldn’t sell it to anyone else, unless I’m the one performing it myself."

"Kid, you better think this through!" He Gang’s expression darkened.

"Yeah, have you thought it through?!" the goons chimed in cooperatively.

Li Yang nodded. "Of course, I’ve thought it through."

"Fuck, so you’re choosing the hard way! In that case, don’t blame me for what happens next!" He Gang roared. "Brothers, get him! He dared to touch my wife, the motherfucker, I’ll..."

Before He Gang could even finish his sentence, Li Yang was in front of him, landing a vicious slap across his face.

It was so fast and clean, he had no time to react.

He Gang stumbled back several steps, clutching his cheek, wondering if he had imagined it.

But the moment he steadied himself, Li Yang sent a kick flying his way.

This time, He Gang couldn’t stay upright and toppled to the ground, landing flat on his face.

"You..." He Gang scrambled up in a panic, pointing at Li Yang, ready to unleash a torrent of curses.

The men were dumbfounded. There was no way they’d dare to step forward.

"There are so many of us! Don’t be afraid of him!" He Gang roared in frustration.

But Li Yang simply turned and, with another sharp SLAP, struck him again.

He Gang collapsed back onto the ground, a pathetic sight to behold.

"I..." He cursed Li Yang and his entire family tree in his head, but it was useless.

"Anyone else?" Li Yang asked, looking coldly at the other men.

They didn’t dare say a word, and simply kept backing away.

Only then did Li Yang dust off his hands with satisfaction. "You guys really underestimated me with this little badger game, huh? Did you really think I was some kind of idiot who would fall for your trap so easily?"

The men looked at each other in dismay.

Tang Ru was completely stunned, her heart flooded with regret.

"Get out!" Li Yang said coldly. "Consider this a warning. If anything like this happens again, don’t expect me to be so merciful!"

"Let’s go!" He Gang didn’t dare linger. With a wave of his arm, he scrambled away with his men in tow.
