"How beautiful!" Chief Editor Wang stared, dumbfounded, at the village—especially at the vast, blue lake in front of them.

"I’ve traveled to many places in our city, and I’ve even been to your town, but I’ve never come to your village. I never imagined a place like this existed!"

Chief Editor Wang was truly stunned.

The mountains and water here were breathtakingly beautiful.

"Not bad, right, Chief Editor Wang?" Li Yang asked, feeling a swell of pride.

"Not bad at all..." Chief Editor Wang was clearly impressed. "This is quite unexpected. Come on, let’s go see how you grow these vegetables."

Li Yang immediately led him to see the mushroom house, then took him to his own vegetable garden.

Chief Editor Wang glanced over and saw the site was bustling with construction activity.

"That’s right. I’m planning to build a resort of this scale. When it’s finished, I’ll have to invite you to stay for a few days, Chief Editor Wang," Li Yang said with a smile. "We have great scenery and lake-view rooms, so I guarantee you’ll be satisfied. Plus, the food here is amazing, wouldn’t you agree?"

Chief Editor Wang nodded. "Absolutely. This is a fantastic idea."

"And over there is the anglers’ center," Li Yang said, pointing. "It’s a place for older gentlemen who enjoy fishing. There’s also a cafeteria. In fact, we’re already getting it set up. Come on, the cafeteria is open now, and they’re preparing a meal."

As he spoke, Li Yang led him over to the cafeteria.

Inside the cafeteria, the staff had already started cooking as per Li Yang’s instructions.

"Come on, let’s go check out the beach up ahead." Li Yang smiled at Gao Xin Xue. "There are motorboats down there. Want to go for a spin on the lake?"

"Really?" Chief Editor Wang’s ears perked up, and he got so excited he nearly jumped to his feet. "You have motorboats here?"

"Of course!" Li Yang said, pointing ahead. "With a lake this big, and since it’s summer, it’s the perfect time for it."

"Wow, now that’s a great idea," Chief Editor Wang said, slapping his thigh. "The city has everything, but the one thing it’s missing is a big river or lake. Isn’t that just maddening? Come on, let’s go take a look."

When they arrived at the beach, the long stretch of pristine white sand made it hard for Chief Editor Wang to believe his eyes.

A beach on a lake was certainly a rare sight.

He snapped several more photos with his camera. The sight of the motorboats made him ecstatic, and he immediately walked over. "Nice! Let me try one out."
