Chapter 115: Chapter 116: Booming Business

Li Yang took a look and recognized one of the men who had just gone inside with a group of women.

"So you’re the doctor who supposedly specializes in men’s health?" The man came in and gave Li Yang a condescending once-over. "From the looks of you, you must be a village doctor. It’s not that I’m looking down on you, but you really look like a fraud."

Li Yang wasn’t the least bit angry. He smiled and said, "I’m no fraud. In fact, I’m quite an expert in this field. I only need one glance to know what kind of help you need, sir."

"What a joke!" The man was unconvinced. "Well, let me tell you something. If you can’t back up your claims today, I won’t let you off the hook. I’ll make sure you’re thrown out of this place, and it won’t matter even if the lady boss herself pleads for you."

"Your... performance issues... they started after you turned thirty, didn’t they?" ’Since he’s asking for it,’ Li Yang thought, deciding not to hold back. "After you turned thirty, you probably started making good money and enjoying the company of women. But you wore your body out, and things stopped working. Of course, most girls wouldn’t dare tell you this to your face. I’m guessing you can last, at most... ten seconds?"

The man’s face instantly turned a deep, liver-red.

But inwardly, he was stunned. He wasn’t even angry. Instead, he sat down, his expression turning sycophantic. "Young man, you’re dead on. That’s right, that’s right! My business took off around the time I was thirty, but my body just gave out. I’ve taken all sorts of medicine over the years—Chinese, Western, you name it—but nothing really worked. Even that... what’s it called, Viagra. I’ve tried that too, but after a while... it stopped having much of an effect. I heard it has side effects, so I got scared and stopped taking it. Since you’re so accurate, you must have a solution, right? By the way, does that medicinal wine of yours actually work?"

Li Yang gave him a mysterious smile. "Are you looking for a permanent cure, or just a fun night?"

"A permanent cure, of course!" the man said instantly. "Is there even a choice? I’ve got all the money in the world, but my body’s too broken to enjoy any of it."

"Alright, how about this? I’ll give you a package deal," Li Yang said seriously. "My medicinal wine... one portion is a single day’s dose, and it costs ten thousand yuan. Drink it for five consecutive days, and you’ll be completely cured. I guarantee you’ll be good for ten years, no problem."

"Ten years!" The man was dumbfounded. "So, fifty thousand yuan?"

"That’s right," Li Yang nodded. "And after ten years, you can come find me again. I’ll sell you another course, and you can get right back in the saddle."

"Done! I’ll give you fifty thousand!" the man said eagerly.

’Rich guys really are a different breed,’ Li Yang thought with a sigh. ’A moment ago, even I thought the price was a bit steep, but looking at him now, it doesn’t seem expensive at all.’

"No need for that just yet." Li Yang had his principles. "Let’s do this: I’ll give you one day’s dose for now. You can try it out tonight and see how it goes. Once you’ve confirmed it works, you can come back for the other four doses. I’ll give them to you all at once, and you’ll be all set. How does that sound?"

"Divine Doctor, you’re a class act!" The man was thoroughly impressed, giving Li Yang a thumbs-up. "Since you’re being so decent about it, I’ll agree to your terms. Here’s the ten thousand yuan—I’m transferring it to you now. We’ll sort out the other forty thousand tomorrow. By the way, you’ll still be here tomorrow, won’t you?"

"I will, I will..." Li Yang watched the 10,000 yuan transfer complete on his phone, feeling giddy. "I’ll be right here tomorrow. Don’t you worry, just come on by."

"Great!" The man took the medicinal wine from Li Yang and turned to leave.

"Just a heads-up," Li Yang said. "This stuff is pretty potent right after you drink it. You’ll need an... outlet... right away. So, drink it right before you’re ready to get started, understand?"

"Got it!"

The man left happily. Once outside, he saw several other men waiting.

Their eyes met, and they all shared a look of mutual understanding.

They were all middle-aged men. They all understood each other’s troubles.

Soon enough, the next man entered Li Yang’s room.

...

By around ten o’clock, Li Yang had finally managed to send all the men on their way.

"Looks like you had a lot of customers today," the lady boss said as she came in. She was closing up for the night.

Li Yang glanced at the payment notifications on his phone. He’d taken in a total of 230,000 yuan.

In other words, just over the course of the dinner rush, he had seen twenty-three patients and sold them all medicine.

"Not bad, not bad!" Li Yang chuckled. "Now hurry up, I’m starving. Get me something to eat."

"But President Li, I’m hungry too!" the lady boss said with a seductive look.

Li Yang nearly coughed up blood. ’Can you people please stop trying to seduce me!’

Meanwhile, the man who had bought the medicine finished dinner with his entourage of women and headed straight for a hotel.

This time, he specifically brought two of the women along.

Once in the hotel room, he went to take a shower first.

As it turned out, he overheard the two young women whispering about him.

"He asked for two of us. You think he can handle it?"

"Looking at him? No way. How many old guys like this have we seen? They all talk a big game, acting like they’re God’s gift to women, but the second they get into bed, it’s a different story. But hey, who cares? It’s an easy way for us to make money."

Hearing this, the man was not pleased. He quickly finished his shower, then secretly downed the medicinal wine.

All at once, a surge of heat shot through his body.

"Come here!" he ordered, pointing commandingly at the two women.
