Li Yang now understood why the dogs he’d seen coming from this place were so vicious. ’So they’re trained this way. No wonder.’

"Go! Sic ’em!" a young man seated in the very center ordered, his face a mask of cruelty. "Yang, you motherfucker, you owe my casino millions. Either you beat this dog to death, or you get mauled to death by it."

Yang Hu was covered in injuries from head to toe, trembling where he stood.

"Young Master Jin, I’ll go home and pay you back everything! I can’t beat it, this dog is too powerful! Please, spare me!" It was clear Yang Hu had already fought the large dog; covered in wounds, he was a gruesome sight.

"If you had the money, you would’ve paid it back long ago!" the young man laughed coldly. "Since you’re broke, just go and have some fun with the dog."

With a sharp hiss, a trainer on the side gave the large dog a command.

The large dog suddenly lunged at Yang Hu.

Debauchery had already taken its toll on Yang Hu, and these large dogs were clearly trained—strong, massive, and incredibly fierce. In an instant, the dog pounced on Yang Hu and pinned him to the ground. It looked like he was about to be mauled to death.

"Bite him!"

"Go on, bite him! I bet on the dog!"

Many people in the crowd began to cheer.

Watching this, Li Yang’s anger flared.

Just then, blood spurted from the large dog’s neck, and it instantly collapsed.

"You must be Young Master Jin," Li Yang said, stepping forward to face the young man.

All eyes turned to Li Yang.

"Who the hell is this punk!" Young Master Jin glared at Li Yang, his voice laced with anger. "You’re looking to die!"

"Where is Xiao Zhen?" Li Yang demanded sharply. "Where did you take her?"

"Shit!" Young Master Jin’s expression changed. ’So he’s here for Xiao Zhen.’ "Get him! Kill him!"

In an instant, a dozen or so thugs charged at Li Yang.

Li Yang moved like a phantom, striking before they could even make a move.

They were no match for him; they collapsed at his slightest touch.

In moments, Li Yang was standing before Young Master Jin.

"Where is she?" Li Yang punctuated the question with a slap across his face.

Young Master Jin stumbled back several steps, clutching his face in disbelief.

’How dare a piece of trash like him hit me!’

"Get him! All of you, get him! Release the dogs! Kill him!" Young Master Jin roared.

But Li Yang wouldn’t give him that chance. Just as the large dogs entered, Li Yang had already grabbed Young Master Jin and hoisted him up.

With a sharp twist, Li Yang broke Young Master Jin’s arm.

"AAAAH!" Young Master Jin shrieked in agony.

"Where is she?" Li Yang snarled at him.

"In the basement!" As much as Young Master Jin hated him, he was also terrified. He had no choice but to submit.

"Bring her out!"

"Quick, bring Xiao Zhen out!" Young Master Jin bellowed.

A moment later, Xiao Zhen was brought out, tightly bound.

Seeing that her life wasn’t in danger and she appeared to be unharmed, Li Yang finally breathed a sigh of relief.

The moment she saw Li Yang, Xiao Zhen looked ready to burst into tears.

"Motherfucker!" Li Yang slapped Young Master Jin across the face again.

Young Master Jin cried out and stumbled back a few steps.

Just then, the sound of footsteps came from outside, and moments later, a large group of police officers burst in.

"Don’t move!" Shen Xu and her captain shouted as they rushed in.

At once, all the thugs froze, not daring to move.

"He’s trying to kill me! Officers, save me!" Young Master Jin suddenly shrieked, pointing at Li Yang. "He wants to kill me! He wants to kill me!"

"Cut the crap!" the captain said sternly. "Don’t think we don’t know what’s going on here. Now be quiet, put your hands up, and get over here!"

Young Master Jin turned his head toward Li Yang and gave a sinister smirk. "Punk," he said cruelly, "the cops are here. What can you do to me now? But let me tell you something. I’m coming for all of you. This bitch here? She’s dead. I’m going to make her die in my bed. And that gambler’s daughter... I hear she’s quite a looker, too. The moment I’m out, I’ll deal with them one by one. Oh, and in case you didn’t know, my dad has all the money in the world. I’ll be out in a few days. And when I am, I’m going to have fun destroying every single one of them!"

As he spoke, Young Master Jin raised his hands and shot Li Yang a triumphant smirk.

Li Yang had originally been content to let the police handle him, but now, he was incandescent with rage.

"You broke piece of shit!" Young Master Jin spat in his direction. "So what if I do it all? What the hell are you gonna do about it?"

"Li Yang, come over here!" Shen Xu said, looking at him with concern.

They had all heard Young Master Jin’s threats.

"Don’t listen to his bullshit. Once we take him in, he won’t be getting out that easily," Shen Xu said, trying to reassure him.

Li Yang suddenly smiled. He looked at Young Master Jin and asked, "Do you believe in karma?"

"HA HA!" Young Master Jin roared with laughter. "Only broke losers believe in that crap. I’ve got money. I don’t believe in a goddamn thing!"

But just then, he saw the expressions on Shen Xu and the captain’s faces change to ones of horror.

He looked around and saw the dogs, their massive jaws wide open, lunging to bite him.
