Lin Chuan intentionally chuckled and said, "Are you worried about me and that's why you came to see me?"

At first, Wu Yuanyuan was listening intently, but soon realized Lin Chuan was deliberately teasing her. Her face sank, and she shook off Lin Chuan's hand. Her chubby little hands started to scratch him all over.

Mao Xinna soon emerged from the massage room, also taken aback by the scene, a complex expression flickered across her face, before she smiled and welcomed the customer into the room.

"What are you two up to?" Mao Xinna asked as soon as the customer had gone inside.

"Nothing much, Wu Yuanyuan just needed a man to lean on, so I sacrificed myself. But if you want the same, I might consider it." Lin Chuan shamelessly replied.

This naturally earned him a glare from both Wu Yuanyuan and Mao Xinna. Wu Yuanyuan broke free from Lin Chuan's embrace, tidied her clothes, and stayed quietly to the side without saying another word.

Mao Xinna saw Wu Yuanyuan's somewhat disheveled state, a complex look flashed through her eyes, but she didn't ask much. Rather, she was curious about how Lin Chuan had returned from the police station.

"How did you get out of the police station? What's going on?" Mao Xinna finally couldn't resist asking. Ever since Lin Chuan was taken by the police, she'd been anxious, worried he might have been involved in something illegal. Seeing him sitting here now, she felt slightly relieved.

Lin Chuan briefly recounted the events, omitting sensitive details, and with Mao Xinna's limited time, she only listened quickly.

The day passed quickly, their relationship swiftly mended through Lin Chuan's shameless antics.

Wu Yuanyuan stayed at the shop all day, and by the afternoon, insisted Lin Chuan visit her place for dinner.

Lin Chuan felt a strange sensation in his heart, wondering if Wu Yuanyuan was seducing him. He chuckled and said, "Are you going to cook for me? Ha, I bet your cooking is inedible."

Lin Chuan smiled wryly, having known Wu Yuanyuan for only two days, yet they were already so familiar.

Wu Yuanyuan's home was in an apartment complex, where she lived alone. When they arrived downstairs, Lin Chuan noticed two motorcycles parked outside.

These two motorcycles looked somewhat familiar, but Lin Chuan couldn't quite remember.

"What's up?" Wu Yuanyuan glanced at Lin Chuan, then looked at the motorcycles too, seeing his dazed expression and asked curiously.

"Nothing, I'm just curious how these bikes ended up here." Although Lin Chuan felt alert, he didn't think much more about it, continuing inside with Wu Yuanyuan.

"Tch, you've done so many bad things you're getting jumpy." Wu Yuanyuan immediately gave Lin Chuan a scornful look.

Lin Chuan didn't reply to Wu Yuanyuan. The two walked into the elevator, pushing the button for their floor, and the elevator slowly ascended.

"Let's keep an eye out. I feel something's off." Inside the elevator, Lin Chuan felt increasingly uneasy, softly giving a warning.

Wu Yuanyuan's expression changed hearing this, asking seriously, "Did you really do something to a girl last night, and now her family's come looking?"

Lin Chuan seemed not to have heard Wu Yuanyuan, his mind still on those two motorcycles.

"What are you thinking about?" Wu Yuanyuan noticed something was off with Lin Chuan's expression and was more convinced that something was up, so she asked a bit dissatisfied.

Lin Chuan chuckled, trying to hide his thoughts, and then said with a silly smile, "Nothing much. I just thought, if I became someone else's husband, what would you do? Would you be my concubine or my secret lover? You know, secret lovers are quite popular these days."

Seeing Lin Chuan flashing his big white teeth, Wu Yuanyuan's face immediately flushed red. She yelled a bit angrily, "What? You dare make me your concubine or secret lover? Hmph, I think you're tired of living."

Before Lin Chuan could say anything, Wu Yuanyuan's next words made him drop his jaw in shock.

"Even if I had to, I'd be the lead. There has to be an order to things, right?" Wu Yuanyuan's voice was as soft as a mosquito, but Lin Chuan still heard it.

"Uh..." Lin Chuan was left speechless.

Could it be that Wu Yuanyuan actually has feelings for me? Lin Chuan wondered, glancing at her with a playful twinkle in his eye as he slowly leaned toward her, silently praying, "If Wu Yuanyuan truly likes me, then let her accept this romantic elevator kiss!"

"Hey, what are you doing? Pursing your lips like that, you look ugly. Ugh, don't come over here. Didn't you brush your teeth this morning? Your mouth reeks..." Wu Yuanyuan made a disgusted face upon seeing Lin Chuan close in, using her small hands to block his 'attack.'

Lin Chuan felt a wave of embarrassment. Not only did this girl reject his kiss, but she also said his breath stank, and it was just because he didn't brush his teeth today. Despite his displeasure, Lin Chuan still blew into his hand to check if his breath really was bad.

"No bad breath here!" Lin Chuan muttered to himself.

"Haha..." Wu Yuanyuan was amused by Lin Chuan's actions and began to laugh heartily next to him.

Lin Chuan rolled his eyes at Wu Yuanyuan. As the elevator was about to stop, he suddenly reached out his right hand to cover her mouth, motioning for silence.

The elevator slowly opened, but neither of them stepped out. The corridor outside was eerily silent.

Lin Chuan whispered quickly in Wu Yuanyuan's ear, and she nodded continuously, then gave Lin Chuan a strange look before she stepped out.

To the left of the elevator, there were two doors, with one being their room. Wu Yuanyuan saw four men fiddling with something in front of their door from afar; one was tampering with the lock, another watched impatiently, while the other two paced nervously.

As Wu Yuanyuan stepped out of the elevator, she was immediately spotted by the pacing men. One locked eyes with her and patted his partner on the shoulder, whispering softly, "Don't worry, just act like it's your house and you're unlocking it. Maybe they aren't the homeowners."

Witnessing this scene, the other men held their breath, praying that Wu Yuanyuan wasn't the owner of the house they were breaking into.

Instead, Wu Yuanyuan continued walking with a smile, and when the young men glanced at her, she even greeted them with a smile back.

This eased the four young men's nerves quite a bit.

"Looks like my suspicion was right. Today is indeed troublesome. Luckily I was alert and didn't go out early." Lin Chuan, hiding in the elevator, also saw the men picking the lock and wondered who sent them.

"Hey, didn't you brag about being a master locksmith? Why can't you open it after all this time? If they come, it'll be too late." The young man who had been watching Wu Yuanyuan cursed at the locksmith in a hushed voice.

But the guy working on the lock glanced at Wu Yuanyuan, confirmed she wasn't the homeowner, then turned back to the lock. Hearing the complaints, he immediately shot back, "I told you I can't pick these locks, but you insisted and told me not to break it. This is pure troublemaking!"

"Alright, enough with the excuses, hurry it up!" Another man snapped impatiently. His raised voice reached Wu Yuanyuan, who was still a bit away, making the men more vigilant, watching her closely. They were poised to catch her if she made any noise or tried to flee.

To their surprise, Wu Yuanyuan neither screamed nor ran. Instead, she smiled at them, nodded silently, and continued walking.

"Haha, turns out she's just a pretty but clueless girl. But she's quite stunning—even though she's just eye candy. Once we finish today, I'm going to have some fun with her," thought the one who'd spoken up, with a lewd grin that Wu Yuanyuan noticed.

Watching her reach another door, they relaxed as she pretended to unlock it, noticing she didn't suspect them at all.

Just before Wu Yuanyuan opened the door, she turned to them and sweetly asked, "What are you guys up to? Can't get in?"

"Ah, she's so sappy!" Lin Chuan shivered, hearing her from his hiding spot, believing that her words alone could capture the hearts of many geeks. He never knew Wu Yuanyuan could be like this, though he wondered why she'd never spoken to him that way.

The men broke into a cold sweat hearing her, but then relaxed as they caught the meaning of her words. The lecherous guy stepped forward, drawing a deep breath, his face displaying a nasty grin.

"Haha, pretty lady, it's not that we can't get in. It's just that the guy lost the key, and we're trying to find a way in!" Seeing that she didn't know the homeowners, he started to weave a story.
