Chapter 1523: Chapter 1538: Wolf Fang Strikes

Right after that, no one knew what order they’d gotten, but these people suddenly split into four teams, more than ten to a team, each rushing at one of the Wolf Fang Four Brothers, like four encircling rings that cut the four of them apart, thinking they could take them out one by one.

Too bad their plan wasn’t going to work out; at least that’s what Lin Mu thought. The next second, Lin Mu charged forward without the slightest fear.

Bang! The fastest runner swung a punch straight at Lin Mu. His speed was insanely fast, even quicker than those Mutants Lin Mu had just been fighting!

Lin Mu lifted his hand, the edge of the dagger flashing. Splat! The combat knife sliced straight toward the man’s arm.

A combat knife that would normally shear off a human arm in one go actually didn’t even get its blade fully into the flesh, didn’t even touch bone. Lin Mu felt like he’d just cut into a bar of steel.

Lin Mu had only just slashed this guy when the man’s other hand was already up, a huge palm whipping toward Lin Mu’s face. His hand speed was just as crazy fast; the howling force of the strike made Lin Mu’s clothes and hair flutter wildly.

Lin Mu calmly lifted his forearm and blocked the man’s palm. Boom! A dull crash rang out.

Lin Mu felt like he’d just been hit head‑on by a giant sledgehammer; his whole body was blasted away.

His arm went slightly numb from that one hit.

"What insane power!"

Lin Mu looked at the sleeve on his arm that had been shredded by that slap, then at the guy who didn’t even slow down and kept charging at him. At last, a serious look appeared on his face.

A high‑level fighter isn’t scary; what’s really terrifying is a high‑level fighter with a will more resolute than anyone else’s, completely unmoved by outside interference.

Fights between people are always both psychological and physical. Psychological warfare is using words to provoke and suggest, to weaken your opponent’s strength. Some people fight hard, but a few words from me can piss them off and their combat strength drops—that’s the technical side of fighting. Lin Mu’s favorite thing is also psychological warfare. But with these guys in front of him, it was obvious psych tactics wouldn’t work. And normally, after someone gets hurt, their movements are affected; wounds hurt, they bleed and whatever. These people, though, didn’t seem to. The wound on that man’s arm, even though blood came out, was only lightly oozing instead of spraying like Lin Mu expected, and the injury on his arm didn’t seem to affect him at all.

Looks like these people really don’t feel pain.

Fighting a group of fearless high‑level fighters with no psychological weak points is absolutely not something a normal person would want to deal with.

Unfortunately, Lin Mu isn’t a normal person. Right now he felt his whole body boiling. Only fighting people like this is truly satisfying, isn’t it?

"Today I’m gonna set you all free!"

Lin Mu saw the guy he’d slashed already up in his face, and in an instant he unleashed all his power.

Whoosh.

Lin Mu moved like a nimble cat, dodging the man’s palm, then sprang up in a leap, landing on the guy’s shoulders, his feet planted on either side.

The man spun his body violently, trying to throw Lin Mu off, but Lin Mu had one hand clamped tight on the man’s head.

Lin Mu’s dagger traced a beautiful arc and sliced straight into the man’s neck.

For a normal person, this would be a kill shot. But for this guy, it didn’t seem to matter much.

Only, the force in Lin Mu’s hand suddenly ramped up.

Crack.

The combat knife sheared through the man’s cervical spine.

Put simply, Lin Mu chopped the guy’s head clean off.

Before Lin Mu even had time to feel pleased, a fist came howling in at him.

Bang.

Lin Mu had no time to dodge at all; he took the hit full on and was sent flying.

He flipped several times in midair, forcibly correcting his posture, then slammed his weight down.

Bang... Lin Mu’s legs hit the ground, skidding him back several meters.

"That’s the stuff!" A fanatical light flashed across Lin Mu’s face. Ever since he advanced to the White Qi Realm, he’d never dared to burn through his White Qi recklessly. But this time was different—if he didn’t go all out with his ultimate techniques, the Wolf Fang Squad would definitely die here!

So tonight he had to fight once with absolutely no holding back. How could Lin Mu not be fired up by that? In an instant, he felt like his whole body’s blood was boiling; hundreds of pores all over him seemed to open at once, and Lin Mu’s strength abruptly climbed another tier.

"Keep it coming!" Lin Mu shouted as he charged the enemy.

Splat...

Bang...

The scene was filled with thunderous booms. It looked like a war movie playing out live; even the asphalt road surface had already shattered under the impact of that tremendous power. Every punch from these people triggered a sonic boom, and Lin Mu’s upper‑body clothing had long since been blasted to ashes during the fight.

One, two, three!

Lin Mu unleashed Dark Radiance, harvesting these people’s heads one after another at high speed. At the same time, he took even more hits.

A straight punch to the chest left him short of breath, his lungs compressed; a sweeping strike slammed into his thigh—luckily the bone didn’t break; and someone jabbed him in the ass—if Lin Mu hadn’t reacted fast, his chrysanthemum would definitely be ruined right now.

On the other side, Earth Wolf, Gray Wolf, and Golden Wolf were facing more than ten opponents each, and their pressure was even greater. After all, they didn’t have Lin Mu’s lethal Black Qi and White Qi inside them!

So all they could do was fight a guerrilla battle, weaving through the enemy like darting fish, slipping between them and relying on their powerful fists to smash these people’s hearts one by one.

Of course, getting hurt was inevitable. Within moments, Earth Wolf, Gray Wolf, and Golden Wolf were all covered in wounds, clearly having a much harder time than Lin Mu. And each of them was fighting alone, surrounded by more than ten Zombies; the situation was on the brink of collapse.

"That’s badass!" Lin Mu took a double‑fisted blow to the back. His skin there, hard as diamond, showed a bruise, and his bones creaked loudly. Lin Mu’s whole body was driven deep into the ground.

Just as the man was about to go for Lin Mu’s head again, Lin Mu planted both hands on the ground and sprang up with a whoosh, then unleashed a heavy, powerful spinning kick that smashed straight into the man’s neck.

With a crack, that Zombie’s head actually twisted a full three hundred and sixty degrees, and then his body went limp and collapsed.
