"It’s no big deal! I’m a tough guy, what are you worried about? Tang Hongwei has already been subdued, so now you could say Handan City is your old man’s realm. Plus, with the Flying Dragon Sect backing us, no one with half a brain would dare mess with your old man. And if you’re worried, we can take your old man back with us to Wancheng. We can set him up with a few venues there; it’s all small stuff!" Lin Mu said.

Haihua nodded, "Then let’s have a chat about it at home after dinner."

"Okay," Lin Mu nodded. After dinner, the two returned to the mansion.

Back at the Hai Family, Haihua explained everything to Scarface. Haihua wanted to follow Lin Mu to Wancheng, and Scarface was somewhat reluctant, as she was his beloved daughter, and they’d have fewer opportunities to meet in the future. However, Scarface didn’t refuse, knowing that a daughter will eventually grow up and get married, and can’t be held onto forever.

As for Haihua’s suggestion to have Scarface go with her to Wancheng, he refused. Being an old-timer, how could he easily give up the legacy and brotherhood he’d built over his life?

This was within Lin Mu’s expectations. Maybe Haihua didn’t have deep feelings for this place, but Scarface surely did, since he had painstakingly built this place with his knife, leaving his blood behind. Unless absolutely necessary, he wouldn’t leave.

"Haihua, make sure you live well with Lin Mu over there. Don’t worry about me here. I’ve fought long enough, I should enjoy some peace. Don’t worry about me; Erwa will help with future matters, so leave it to him." Scarface said.

"Dad, I still think it’s better for you to come with us to Wancheng, that way we can see each other every day." Haihua said.

Scarface chuckled, "I’ve spent half a lifetime building my business here; how could I leave just like you said? You should come visit me more often in the future."

Seeing she couldn’t persuade Scarface, Haihua reluctantly nodded, "Alright, make sure you take care of yourself here. I’ll visit often."

"Alright, stop making it sound like we’re parting for life and death; it’s embarrassing!" Scarface waved dismissively, but everyone could see he was really reluctant to part with his daughter of over twenty years.

"Uncle Dao, don’t worry, I’ll take good care of Haihua." Lin Mu reassured Scarface, knowing as this was someone else’s daughter, he had to make some acknowledgment, pledging love rather than wealth.

Scarface nodded, "Lin Mu, with you taking care of Haihua, I’m reassured. When do you plan to leave?"

"I want to leave tomorrow; I’ve been here a long time and the company needs managing." Lin Mu said.

"Alright then, let’s have a good drink tonight." Scarface nodded.

"Definitely." Lin Mu grinned.

Throughout the day, Haihua didn’t leave Scarface, chatting with her dad—since she was leaving tomorrow—both feeling the pangs of separation. Normally, the father and daughter hardly ever sat peacefully like this. Suddenly, it seemed Haihua had matured, and Scarface had softened.

Thinking back to the initial days of encountering Haihua and Scarface, compared to now, Lin Mu chuckled shaking his head, "The change is happening too fast!"

Since the father-daughter duo was talking, Lin Mu thought it best to leave them and went to find Earth Wolf and King Kong to play cards. Earth Wolf and King Kong unanimously refused, knowing playing cards with Lin Mu meant guaranteed loss, they’d rather spend their money elsewhere than lose it here. So both of them declined.

Realizing "these cowardly fat fools," Lin Mu cursed them quietly. With nothing else to do and winning their money being secondary, he just wanted to pass the time. Consequently, he proposed giving King Kong and Earth Wolf one million each for their contributions in this action, which made them happily agree to play cards.

After all, a million each means even if they lose, they’d only lose a small amount, just a trifle, so they didn’t mind. The three of them joyfully played cards.

They played until dusk, skipping lunch, until Haihua came to call them for dinner and they realized the evening meal was ready.

They dropped their cards, and hungry, they gathered in the downstairs living room, immediately feeling the aroma of food hitting their noses! With Haihua leaving the next day, the table was laden with dishes, and Scarface even brought out some bottles of Jian Nan Chun for a good drink.

"Haha, the food looks great, I’m starving!" Lin Mu laughed, sitting down.

"Honey, I cooked all these dishes myself, you should try them." Haihua said.

"Since you made them, I definitely need to eat more. I’ll have a taste first." Lin Mu said, taking a bite and nodding as he ate, "It’s really great, a feast for the senses!"

"Hehe, then eat more!" Haihua said happily.

"Let’s have a good drink together tonight since we won’t have many more chances to drink together in the future!" Scarface said, opening the wine.

And then everyone drank heartily.

That night, everyone drank quite a bit; King Kong, Earth Wolf, and Scarface all ended up drunk, and Lin Mu was feeling tipsy too, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

They slept soundly till the next morning; at around ten, Lin Mu, King Kong, Earth Wolf, and Haihua boarded the plane back to Wancheng.

Scarface personally came to the airport to see Haihua off. At the airport, Haihua couldn’t hold back her tears, and Scarface also felt deeply reluctant, though as a tough guy, he didn’t show too much sadness.

By two in the afternoon, Lin Mu’s group arrived in Wancheng. With so many people, coupled with King Kong’s size, Lin Mu arranged for Gray Wolf and Golden Wolf to come pick them up separately.

Soon after leaving the airport, Gray Wolf and Golden Wolf came up to greet them.

"Haha, the boss is back!" Gray Wolf grinned, stepping forward.

"Damn, you’ve gotten thinner! Have you been staying home making soy milk lately?" Lin Mu joked, punching Gray Wolf’s chest.
