Meanwhile, Xi Yueyao had already climbed on top of the Earth Breath Beast’s head. She brandished her long whip wildly, her crazed laughter echoing throughout the mountain range.

"Hey, big fella! Aren’t you supposed to be all that? If you’ve got the guts, then come and kill me!"

Xi Yueyao didn’t forget to toss out a few taunts as she attacked, completely reverting to her persona as the little terror of Rongcheng.

"AWOO~!" The Earth Breath Beast let out a furious roar in response to Xi Yueyao’s mockery.

As a high-level, high-star Spirit Beast, the Earth Breath Beast possessed high intelligence and naturally understood the meaning behind her words.

It hadn’t paid Xi Yueyao any mind at first. After all, to the beast, Feng Hao was the greatest threat. But Xi Yueyao was like an annoying fly. It was bad enough that she was prancing around on its head, but she was also relentlessly and arrogantly taunting it.

"Watch out!" Feng Hao cried out in alarm, rushing to her aid.

But Xi Yueyao was utterly fearless. She simply wiped the dirt from her face as a frigid light coalesced around her. In an instant, she had transformed into an ice sculpture of a half-reclining young girl.

The claw slammed down, sending dirt flying as the ground trembled violently.

Yet, in her ice sculpture state, Xi Yueyao was completely unscathed. Feng Hao breathed a sigh of relief, confirming that the ice sculpture could withstand the Earth Breath Beast’s attack.

Elsewhere, Sirlius and Jin Li were frozen in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief.

They watched as Xi Yueyao reverted from her ice sculpture state, patted the dust off her rear, and stood up. She pointed a finger at the Earth Breath Beast and launched into a tirade of taunts, "Haha, I’m still alive! Bet you’re real disappointed, huh?"

The Earth Breath Beast, who had been sure of her demise, shuddered upon hearing her words. It stared at Xi Yueyao in utter disbelief.

"Dumbfounded, big fella? Feeling like you’re on the verge of a mental breakdown?" Xi Yueyao gloated, pulling a face at the beast, her tone dripping with as much mockery as she could muster.

The Earth Breath Beast, which had been about to resume its attack on Feng Hao, instantly flew into a towering rage. Roaring, it swung its claw and brought it crashing down on Xi Yueyao once more.

However, what greeted it was an ice sculpture... giving it the middle finger.
