Chapter 1044: Chapter 106: Refusing to Give Face

Xu Mo had already learned the situation inside the Dome Cave from the memories of the previous guards. After the Transcendent forces of the Coriade Star Domain jointly took control here, the absence of external enemies led to gaps forming between these forces.

The quantity of Source Gold mined by different forces varied, and the competition over Source Gold caused friction, resulting in prolonged latent conflicts. Although they’ve been collaborating for over a year, the cracks are actually quite deep, merely suppressed for the bigger picture.

But such a situation could ignite at any moment.

First, Xu Mo used spiritual power to issue instructions for some people to start an attack, seizing Source Gold. The leaders of several forces tried to suppress it, but Xu Mo then targeted the force that had mined the most Source Gold, using Telekinesis to make the Source Gold fly to another pile.

There were quite a few top-notch Transcendents from the Coriade Star Domain here, with each leading planetary force possessing at least one or two Transcendents skilled in Telekinesis. This situation was instantly misinterpreted as an act of plunder.

“How dare you!” Someone from the force whose Source Gold Mine had been seized shouted angrily. Someone floated in the air, gesturing toward the distance, causing the opposing force’s Source Gold to fly up toward them.

“Boom…” On the other side, the ‘repairman’ involved in mining also started to fight back fiercely, and the situation quickly spiraled out of control.

“It’s here!”

Xu Mo thought to himself, controlling the Source Gold Mine with Telekinesis to fly chaotically, and the movement of Source Gold from various forces made them believe it was the work of the other side.

“Guard the Source Gold.” Simultaneous shouts echoed, ordering those protecting the Source Gold to control the mines.

Meanwhile, in the skies within the Dome Cave, people had already begun confronting each other, with powerful Telekinesis bursting forth, launching attacks at the other side.

Inside the Dome Cave, figures moved swiftly through the air, with battles erupting from different directions, plunging into chaos in a very short time.

Xu Mo, Zero, and the other four took advantage and blended into the crowd. Though they had created chaos, they could not avoid detection, and time was running short.

“Guard the Source Gold well, take it out first, others, grab some for me.” Someone shouted loudly.

Even within the same force, unity was not guaranteed; who would ultimately claim the Source Gold after collectively acquiring it and taking it out?

It still had to be turned in since the mined Source Gold was limited. If equipping everyone with a full set of gear, there would essentially be none left, likely excluding all but the top-tier geniuses from having a share.

With such a backdrop, many people entertained their own thoughts. Xu Mo’s disruption led to human nature being exposed immediately, with some taking Source Gold and running.

Seeing someone take the lead, others quickly followed suit, beginning to scramble for Source Gold.

“They’re trying to grab Source Gold and take it away.” Another voice shouted, prompting more people to join in. Xu Mo and his group took advantage and grabbed a block, rushing outside.

“Zzzz…” Ahead, a sharp Mechanical Body streaked like lightning towards Xu Mo, seemingly about to cut him down. Yet, at the eleventh hour, Xu Mo dodged the attack with subtle movement and continued running quickly without retaliating.

“Stop everything.”

Someone shouted loudly, but the chaotic situation was hard to contain, forcing them to concentrate on securing large quantities of Source Gold mines.

Those who burst out of the Dome Cave were instantly struck by attacks of spiritual power. Behind a large boulder in the distance, a small Ancient Beast trembled but unleashed a powerful Spiritual Domain.

Xu Mo and Zero charged out, unleashing spiritual power before reaching the spot.

“Let go.” Both of them issued commands simultaneously, collaborating with the Ancient Beast so that most individuals released and dropped their Source Gold. As soon as they dropped it, the Ancient Beast controlled it, teleporting Source Gold to a distant location.

In the direction ahead, many Monsters suddenly appeared, ready to receive and depart with the Source Gold.

“Ambush!”

“We’ve been tricked.” A person with powerful spiritual power shouted as Xu Mo and his four companions dashed forward, escaping with the Ancient Beast.

“Chase.” Those who lost their Source Gold looked extremely grim. Those inside the Dome Cave heard the commotion outside, instantly realizing they had been tricked.

However, while being tricked was a fact, the outbreak of conflict was also a fact, with ongoing fighting and competition impossible to halt immediately.

Those in pursuit quickly ran into Monster attacks, forcing them to stop and watch as Xu Mo and the others, carrying the Monsters, fled and vanished from sight. When the people in the Dome Cave came out to chase them, Xu Mo and his companions had long disappeared.

After running for a long time, Xu Mo and the others halted, disposing of their disguised equipment to avoid future recognition.

“First time doing this, exhilarating.” Lowell couldn’t help but feel a bit thrilled. As the Governor’s son of Chloe Star, this was his first experience doing such a thing, and to his surprise, it was exciting.

“This is something to do occasionally.” Xu Mo remarked.

“Xu Mo, why not grab more?” Lowell asked.

Xu Mo rolled his eyes, sensing Lowell’s greediness.

“It’s enough. Such a strategy is risky and can easily be exposed. We were lucky this time, catching them with ulterior motives. If we didn’t escape decisively, getting discovered would be troublesome.” Xu Mo glanced at the Monster horde behind, dispersing the Source Gold among them, hiding it since carrying it was inconvenient. They intended to take it all out together when exiting.
