Trouble Strikes

I felt very refreshed the next morning, even though we woke up frequently due to Aya-chan’s nightmares. While we heat Deonte’s soup for breakfast, we hear giggles. Toru comes up behind me and says while looking at the non-tattooed side of my neck, “Is that a hickey I spy on your neck, Sekai?” I blush furiously and pull the hood of my hoodie up over my head. As our soup finishes heating up, I take it to the table, and I look at Aya-chan, who is looking at me with those passionate purple eyes again. I blush and blow on my soup and take a bite, and it tastes like it is supposed to. I cry unintentionally, and Aya-chan starts panicking and drops her spoon while reaching for me, “What’s wrong, Kai-chan?” I shake my head and say after I swallow, “I can taste it.” Aya-chan perks up and says, “Try teleporting!”

I teleport over to the sofa and look back at the chair and teleport back to Aya-chan, who is squealing in excitement. Our classmates seem to echo the positive sentiments, which makes me blush even more. Aya-chan kisses me briefly after our hug, then we continue eating. I can’t help but moan as we eat, and Ashido giggles, “Sounds like the sounds we heard coming from your room last night.” The blush that had disappeared while I was eating immediately came back. Aya-chan also blushed a little, and she responded to her comment, “I thought we were being quiet.” Yaomomo chimed in, “Not quiet enough.” The girls started giggling. Apparently it was only the girls who heard us, not the boys, since they were on a different floor… Except Sero, whose room is directly above ours, judging by his face.

Aya-chan says while enjoying my extremely flustered face, “I guess that we will have to invest in some soundproofing pads to put up around our dorm.” I nod while pulling my hood down. Sero chimes in, face flustered, “C-can you put them on your ceiling, too?” I nod again in response, since it is too embarrassing to say out loud.

We go to classes as normal, and Mr. Aizawa sees that I can use my quirk again. He let the principal know, who then had us handle the few family visit requests after school, for upperclassmen not only in the hero course but also for some students in the business course, support course, and general studies. Since I wasn’t out of commission that long, we were able to knock out the backlog of visits in one afternoon, but it was still annoying because there was a lot of back-and-forth to many different addresses.

The next day, Aya-chan and I are doing our ‘escort family discreetly to UA’ duty for a birthday. Usually it is parents, but today, we are escorting Todoroki’s brother and sister to the dorms for his birthday. We pick them up like we normally do when running this errand. It feels a little weird, because the sister feels a little grabby and holds me very sensually around my hips while wearing a flirtatious expression. Isn’t she supposed to be a school teacher or something?That is hella problematic for a teacher to be grabbing a kid like me like this.

Aya-chan noticed, and I saw rage flicker in her eyes since she saw how she was holding me and her expression. We get very close to our destination, and out of nowhere, Aya-chan’s Observation Haki is triggered, and I push the sister away and teleport us away in an instant. We turn to see the League of Villains appear from marbles. The sister pulls out a knife and licks it and then says, “Sekai, will you let me suck your blood again?” So the sister was Himiko in disguise.That explains why she was holding me that tightly.

How did they know?!

Shigaraki yells at Aya-chan, “Come here, you brat so we can kill you! You are just an extra in the Master's plan!” Himiko actually comes to Aya-chan’s defense and says, “Boss, you promised that you would leave her alone. Sekai won’t like me if anything happens to Ayaka.” Students pour out to investigate the yelling, and I hear some calling teachers for backup. Todoroki’s brother melts into mud, and Todoroki’s expression is pissed because he knows what this means. Bakugo quickly uses his explosions to close the distance and yells, “Get the fuck out of our school, you losers! DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE!”

This dumbass is no match for all these villains. The nerd, seeing Bakugo jump into action, also joins in to be his backup. Bakugo was originally going after Shigaraki, but Dabi distracts him with his blue flames, and Bakugo changes course. He protects himself with Armament Haki as he blasts his way through Dabi’s fire, and he blasts Dabi up close. Dabi seems to know Armament Haki as well, and he slides back while summoning more flames. This seems to be a contest of endurance and Observation Haki. Midoriya tries to attack Shigaraki, but is headed off by a Warp portal from Kurogiri. Compress teleports through the portal with Kurogiri to the fight, and Compress starts engaging with the nerd. Compress apparently is very gifted with Observation Haki and is dodging the nerd’s attacks with ease.

While those two were occupied, Twice made armored clones of himself to fight the rest of the students who weren’t going to stand idly by. Wait, I thought that crazy dude had trauma with making clones of himself? He has had some growth in his downtime since I last saw him. During the chaos, Himiko uses her needles to get some of the students' blood who are occupied with Twice’s clones, and she reinforces them with armament.

Clones started chasing me, too, but using my teleports, I was able to dodge them easily. The clones caught Bakugo off guard since he was busy fighting Dabi, and they grabbed him even though he tried to get away at the last second due to his heightened reflexes. Compress tried to capture the nerd, but he jumped back using his Observation Haki to avoid the marble attack. He probably would have been taken, too, if the clones had been going after him like they were for Bakugo and me. While they have distance, Shigaraki says as they step into a warp with Bakugo, “Tell that musclehead, All Might, to meet me at Deika city if he wants this brat back. And tell him that there better not be any other heroes with him, or the brat dies.”

All Might comes rushing to the scene and rushes to Kurogiri’s dark teleport to try and follow, but is too late. The nerd tells him in a panic, “All Might, they said they want you to go alone to Deika City, and that if other heroes accompany you, then they will kill Kacchan!” All Might zooms off at high speed in the direction of Deika City, and the nerd comes running to me, “Sekai, can you please take me to Deika City? I can’t let him fight alone!” Uraraka runs to him and holds his arm, panicked, as if he is going to die or something. “If you are going, take me with you, Izuku!” Aya-chan sighs and says, “They did technically say ‘heroes’, and didn’t say that students couldn’t go.”

The nerd perks up and then asks, “Does that mean you guys will take me?” I tell him, “If it is ok with Aya-chan, then it is ok with me. I am her sidekick after all.” Aya-chan wraps us up with her tentacles, which gives me that confirmation, and I ask her, “Can one of you pull up the directions to Deika City, so I know what direction to go in?” The nerd quickly pulls out his phone and types into his map application, and I start following it quickly to Deika City.

We run into All Might, who is traveling at high speeds in the same direction and sees us. I touch him so he can move and talk with us, since he is wearing a look like he wants to talk. He tells us, “Go back to UA, students. It is too dangerous.” The nerd says, “I can’t let you go alone, All Might!” All Might responds, “But you said if I am not alone, then they will kill young Bakugo.” Aya-chan chimes in, “He technically said other heroes; he didn’t say students.” All Might sighs and says, “Fine, can you help me get there faster? It will take me about 20 minutes to get there on my own, and it will be faster with young Mochizuki’s quirk. Only on the condition that you hold back when we get there and let me do the fighting.”

The nerd, who is sweating a cold sweat, nods, “Ok, All Might.” Uraraka gently squeezes the nerd’s hand supportively, and I pick up the pace. I am shocked when we get to our destination.

I remember seeing a news story about how villains destroyed Deika City overnight and how the citizens fought back, but we didn’t hear about it until the next day after the fact. I saw some clips of the destruction on the TV but seeing it in person is something else. There was so much destruction, and it looks more devastating in person. Using my zoom, I see Shigaraki had Bakugo in those bulky metal cuffs, which are currently in pieces scattered around him. Most of the League of Villains seemed to have been blown up as well, with shrapnel damage from the remnants of the metal cuffs—all but Shigaraki. Kurogiri looked like he had become a shield, protecting him. Judging by the wide range of damage in a circle around him, it seems he used that Explosion TM quirk we gave him to knock the underlings out and blow the metal cuffs on his wrists off.

We stop at the edge of the city, and I tell the musclehead, “Bakugo used one of his large explosions to take out several of those villains, so it should be easier for you. That move he used made him faint, so he is out of commission.” All Might nods, and he asks, “Can you two combine your quirks and take him to safety, so he doesn’t get caught in the crossfire?” We nod, and I kiss Aya-chan to help her quickly go 5D. I pop another jawbreaker since the one in my mouth is getting very small, and I teleport us right behind Bakugo.

Shigaraki immediately sees All Might approaching, and we capitalize on his distraction to nab Bakugo into 5D with us, and we teleport him away to where the nerd and Uraraka are spectating from a distance. We lay him down gently as she takes us back to 3D. The nerd seems to be a hot mess, worrying for both Bakugo and All Might, and his attention is constantly going between the two. While Bakugo is knocked out, we start systematically removing some of the shrapnel we can before applying potions. We know how important his hands are to his quirk, and he would want them treated before anything else. We probably won't be able to get it all, so we focus on his palms that he uses most for his quirk to help the nursing staff later, so they have less to do.

Since both All Might and Shigaraki seem to have Armament and Observation Haki, the fight seems to be evenly matched. It is strange, because I haven’t seen Shigaraki use his quirk since the fight started. Though it does look like he is trying to touch All Might, something feels off.I can’t put my finger on it. All Might strikes Shigaraki in the sternum hard with his obscene power, and Shigaraki protects himself with Armament Haki as he flies backward through the rubble of several buildings.

The fight has been going on for about 20-30 minutes, and All Might is breathing heavily as if he is struggling to keep up now. During this time, All Might has hit Shigaraki a few times, sending him flying. The nerd is clutching his shirt with worry as he watches All Might struggle. All Might continues fighting while attempting to hit him more while also dodging his hands for 10 more minutes, and then he collapses and falls onto one knee.

Shigaraki, who is all cut up and bruised from being hit several times, coughs blood and doubles over. We think the fight is over, but he touches the ground with his arms black with armament, and the ground is being destroyed as it travels toward All Might. All Might tries to stand up, sensing the danger, but struggles to get his knee off the ground as he shakes violently with effort. The cracks reach him, and his legs start to disappear. The nerd yells, “All Might!” Uraraka can help with her Psychic quirk, but we don’t have much time. I nod to her and teleport us close to All Might while far enough away so we don’t get caught in the destruction of Shigaraki’s leveled-up quirk.

She quickly brings him to me as his legs continue to disappear, and I ready my pinky sword. When he reaches us, All Might nods to me, understanding what must be done, and I swing my blade to attempt to cut off his legs, but I don’t have the strength to cut through his muscles. I have her lay him down quickly while I teleport straight above us, and I nose-dive straight down, going for speed, and at the last second bring my armament sword down in a slice to cut through both of his legs in one swing while also making my whole body black with armament to protect myself from the fall. I not only completed my mission of stopping the decay, but I made a huge crater in the process, bigger than any I have made before. I had to cut at the top part of his thigh, because any higher and I would have risked cutting off his…. You know what…

We made it just in time.

Once his life is no longer in jeopardy (from disintegrating), I hold both of them and teleport us away to where the nerd and Bakugo are and teleport us back in the direction of Musutafu while the nerd carefully carries Bakugo. I sigh, thinking how it was a blessing that All Might didn’t disintegrate quickly, but that is probably due to the immense amount of muscle he has. Shigaraki’s quirk had to destroy each muscle fiber, and because he was not at full power from having fought All Might for so long, most probably. I am so glad we have Uraraka with us, because otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to carry this musclehead. I think he said during one class that he weighs over 550 pounds, and that is just wild. Though, I guess that number is less since he is without those tree trunks for legs.

When we get a safe distance away, Aya-chan pulls out some potions and sprays them on his gushing legs that are bleeding profusely everywhere. The nerd paces while we give All Might emergency treatment so he doesn’t die from blood loss now. I don’t want him to die because of my sword. I clutch my chest in worry with one hand while I spray him with a potion with the other. All Might says with a strained voice and a forced smile, “Don’t worry, young Mochizuki. You did the right thing, and you saved my life. I am sure that I will pull through because of your quick thinking.” I smack my teeth and tell him, “Tsk. Shut up, muscle-head, and reserve your strength for now.”

After a few moments of emergency first aid with the potions, we hurry back to Musutafu. When we hit the city border, I kissed Aya-chan to take us all into 5D so we wouldn’t freak out civilians and hurried to Musutafu General Hospital to find Recovery Girl.

When we found her, Aya-chan pulled us out into 3D, and we effectively scared the shit out of Recovery Girl. She then immediately notices All Might’s wounds and takes us to a private room where she kisses All Might and seals the wounds on his legs. All Might immediately looks exhausted as he gets slightly pale and develops dark circles under his eyes when the treatment is done. Recovery Girl asks worriedly, “What on Earth happened to you, All Might?” He says in an exhausted voice and a forced smile, “Shigaraki from the League of Villains.” He turns to the nerd and says weakly, “My ember is gone for good this time, young Midoriya.”

With that, he fainted from exhaustion from his grueling fight with Shigaraki and blood loss. Recovery Girl says, “I’ll take care of him from here; you kids probably should shower and change before going back to UA.” She gestures to us covered in blood on our legs, and we nod in understanding. She waves down a nurse, “Can you show these kids to a spare room where there is a shower and get them a change of clothes? I’ll tend to the fiery one here when he regains consciousness.” The nurse nods, and as we walk away, I hear Recovery Girl calling for extra security at All Might’s room.

The nurse escorts us to a room with a shower/bathroom attached to an empty room. We set Bakugo down on the bed, and the nerd sits on the side of the bed in a depressed manner, “You guys can go first.” We took our clean sweats from the nurse, and we girls all shared the shower for efficiency, and it isn’t like we haven’t seen each other naked before. Since only one person could be under the stream of water at a time, it was very cold for the two who weren’t. We all tried to be very quick because of this.

After we all showered and changed, we waited for the nerd to shower while we placed our bloodied clothes in clean plastic garbage bags they had near the small trashcan in the hospital room. He wasn’t as bloodied as Uraraka and I were, but he still had a decent amount of blood on him. I look at Bakugo, and he is still out. A nurse comes in and starts removing the shrapnel carefully from his skin while placing the shrapnel pieces in a metal medical bin. She treats the cuts on his flesh with ointment and wraps them with bandages once she has systematically cleared the areas, which were concentrated on his hands and thighs. Recovery Girl pops in to check on the progress and leaves when she sees he is still out of it since she has other patients to attend to.

The nerd comes out in his own pair of sweats. Uraraka passes him one of the bags so he could put his own bloodied clothes in as well. She says, “I can help you get that blood out later.” Aya-chan chuckles, “Yeah, that is one thing us girls know how to do. Getting blood out of clothes.” The nerd looks confused, then realizes we are talking about our monthly cycles, and he looks a tad uncomfortable. I smack my teeth and tell him with an attitude, “What? Are our normal bodily functions uncomfortable to you? You should feel the cramps that come with it, but we don’t let them stop us from doing hero work.”

The nerd looks like he is panicking a bit, and I am surprised Aya-chan didn’t bonk me. The nurse was finishing up and giggling at our conversation while taking the bin of bloodied shrapnel out of the room. Aya-chan usually bonks me when I snap at people, and just as I am thinking that, she gently squeezes my hand supportively, like to say what I said was ok. The way she smirks at me makes me blush, and that sets off her naughty switch. She lifts my chin with her free hand, and she kisses me.

Bakugo starts to stir, and he says groggily, “Stop that flirting; it is fucking disgusting.” The nerd perks up, “Kacchan! You are awake!” The nerd was so loud that it summoned a separate nurse to verify, who immediately left to fetch Recovery Girl. While they were gone, Bakugo asked, “So, what did I miss?” The nerd’s eyes watered and says, “Your attack incapacitated all of the League of Villains except for Shigaraki. When we got there, All Might started fighting Shigaraki while Sekai and Kubo rescued you and gave you first aid to your palms.” The nerd pauses and Bakugo snaps, “Spit it out, nerd!”

The nerd says with his usual level of awkwardness, “W-well, it’s about All Might… He used up the last of his power, and he - he…” Bakugo’s veins started popping on his forehead, and he made a few small explosions on his cut-up hands to make the nerd spill it faster as the tiny explosions singe the bandages slightly. The nerd says, “All Might lost his legs fighting Shigaraki.” Bakugo’s face becomes pale as he grits his teeth while wearing that scowl of his that is similar to mine, and he stops with his explosions. It isn’t often that he becomes silent from anything. If the situation wasn’t so fucked up, I might have made fun of him. But that would definitely be in poor taste, and Aya-chan would definitely bop me for that.

The nurse comes in with Recovery Girl, and they scold Bakugo. The nurse says in a disappointed manner, “You shouldn’t use your quirk like that, especially with bandages on. It will only make your recovery worse. Now we have to try and remove the bandages without damaging your skin.” Bakugo smacks his teeth and looks to the side while offering them his hands, “Tsk. Whatever.” They sigh at his response and start carefully removing the bandages that melted onto his hands from his quirk.
