Today is the last day of provisional licensing remedial training, and if we do well, we will leave today with our provisional licenses. Today we had a similar test to the one they had back in the summer, and fought against his goons while rescuing people from a ‘disaster’ zone. We had to work as a team, which was the hitch, and after hearing about the exam they had in the summer, I can totally see why. Ayaka and I worked side by side as members of the rescue team alongside that girl from Shiketsu and a leaf chick. The leaf chick has a power similar to 'sAyame's, but it seems a little stronger because it can grow things without soil. Ayame can’t use her quirk without soil.

The leaf chick mentioned that, while we were training in the past, her father had almost died in a villain attack and had his quirk stolen. I say "us," but she told Aya-chan because she is warm and inviting, and people find themselves telling her things all the time. I can’t help but think of All for One every time I see that leaf chick since I know that he is responsible for her father being quirkless. Today is an important day, though. I can’t be distracted by thoughts of All for One, so I push those thoughts aside and focus on the task at hand.

I quickly teleport all of us to the first victim, who is trapped under rubble. Aya-chan kisses me and takes us to 5D, including the victim, so they can be freed from the rubble that has fallen a little due to the actor's absence. The actor said, “Whoa, what’s happening? OW!” We carefully move him in 5D while Aya-chan says, “We are sorry for scaring you. We are here to help. I have brought you into the background with me so we can safely move you without worrying about crushing you. The kid seems to be ‘crying,’ so the ditz from Shiketsu gives him a peaceful illusion to distract him while we take him to a segregated area we can establish as a triage center.

The leaf chick makes a fluffy bed of grass, and the ditz puts the child actor on the bed. The ditz says, “You totes can handle the rescues. Leave this biz to us.” Aya-chan gives them a thumbs up, “Then we will leave the triage to you.” Aya-chan and I return to rescue operations. One of the ‘villains’ is near one of the ‘civilians’, and is a ways off from the combatting ‘heroes’. I see the intense dude from Shiketsu swirling around a few villains in a wind tornado, so I teleport the villain above the tornado and throw him and yell, “Special delivery!” I teleport immediately away so I don’t get swallowed up as well.

I return to Aya-chan’s side, where she is talking with the ‘hurt civilian’ who seems to have a ‘spinal injury’. She says, “When my sidekick returns, I will have her draw a gurney to stabilize you, and we will rescue you. Oh, - hey, Hops. Can you-?” I pull out my small sketchpad I keep with my hero costume and cut her off, “On it.” I sketch a primitive gurney, but I am drawing straps on both sides to wrap around our necks/shoulders to make the lift easier, since the victim is a heavy man. Once I am done with the drawing, Aya-chan takes her hands and grabs it out of the sketchpad, then stretches it to the size she needs, using me to hold one side to make it easier.

Once she has it prepared, she places it beside the victim. She tells the victim, “We are going to save you now. Please remain calm and still to prevent further injury.” The actor says, “Please, hurry! It hurts!” We kiss and go 5D so she can ‘change the rules’ affecting the victim. She makes him float like Uraraka does while keeping him straight for stabilization, and she slowly places him on the gurney and takes us back to 3D. Aya-chan gets on one side and carefully puts the strap behind her neck and shoulders, while I do the same. She counts to three, “1, 2, 3.” We lift the gurney, and I teleport us to the triage center, where some villains are attacking.

We carefully drop the actor among the other victims (obviously with care), and I yell to the ditz who is fist-fighting a villain protecting the triage center, “Get down!” She finishes punching him in the face, and promptly hits the ground while I release a Dark Pulse. It sends the villain flying and buys them some time. Aya-chan joins them on defense, and I say, “I will go grab that spiky bastard. We could use his firepower over here.” They nod, and I teleport to the other side of the testing arena where the combat team is fighting villains. I yell to Bakugo, “Hey, spiky bastard! We need your firepower at triage!” He yells, “I’ll help you weaklings, but don’t think for one second that I need your quirk! I will get there fast on my own!”

He flies using his explosions with that angry look on his face. Todoroki is making the tornadoes turn into ice, freezing the villains so they won’t be a threat. He and the intense dude make a pretty good team. Right before I leave them, I see Gang Orca joining the villains. I teleport quickly back to the others, beating that spiky bastard, and I help hold the line until he gets here. Aya-chan is fending them off with her tentacles, but they start trying to flank her. I do my aerial ace quirk and strike the villain trying to sneak up on Aya-chan. I tell her, “He is on the way, Flustrated.” She chuckles as she continues to whack villains with her armament tentacles, “I should have known that he would turn down a ride from you.”

We hear Bakugo yelling, getting closer, “Just who are you losers talking about?! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!” He starts blasting the villains and sends them all flying, and he growls aggressively, “Hey, losers! Go! Extras do extra jobs like rescuing! DIE! DIE! DIE!” Boom! Boom! Boom! Villains start flying from his explosions. We leave the triage area to the other two, and we finish rescuing the rest of the actors playing victims. After the last victim was taken to the triage center, we heard Gang Orca’s voice over a microphone, “The test is now over. Return to the starting position so we can evaluate everyone’s performance.” I hold Aya-chan’s hand and teleport us back to the main entrance while the ditz calls out to us as I teleport us away, “Wait! Aww man. That’s a bummer… I wanted a free ride.”

Gang Orca gives us a summary of our performances, and everyone passed. He tells me, “Hops, you were efficient in rescuing people. However, you didn’t say anything and relied on Flustrated to talk to them.” I groan and complain, “You do realize that my opening my mouth puts me at risk? At least I know how to shut up, unlike a certain spiky bastard who lost more points than me.” Gang Orca sighs, “I guess you are right in that aspect. It is better to be silent than say something that could be misunderstood. Don’t rely too much on Flustrated.”

I cross my arms and say, “Wasn’t the purpose of this exercise supposed to be about teamwork? I know I am not pleasant to be around, which is why I relied on those who excel at comforting. I could never dream of being as comforting as Flustrated.” Aya-chan says defensively and passionately, “Hops is right, Gang Orca! Her quirk made today’s test the success it was. Without her ‘hops’, we wouldn’t have been able to rescue everyone as quickly, or get backup from Bakugo in time at triage. I thought you, of all people, wouldn’t judge her based on her facial expression, Gang Orca. I am disappointed in you.

Gang Orca sighs and places his hand on his head, “I am sorry. These words are not my own, but are relayed from the actors. Their voices matter as well. I am very familiar with Hops’s true nature… Maybe a little too familiar… I just wanted you to know exactly what was said so you could work on it some. I also had to work on how I present myself, which is why I like to wear suits. Maybe something to make people’s hearts rest at ease without having to say anything.” Aya-chan gasps as she remembers something, and she asks, “Would an adorable teddy bear tattoo with shades work? She has one that is covered up on her arm that I can move to be visible.”

The ditz from Shiketsu says excitedly, “Oh my god! That sounds totes adorbs!” She takes me into 5D, where she takes my top off, and I yelp and whisper, “Do you really have to take off my clothes now?” She giggles at my flustered state, and she says, “It is kind of hard to move a tattoo that I can’t see, silly.” I blush furiously as she moves the tattoo to my neck, where it will be subtly visible if I am wearing my hood and totally visible if I am carrying a child on my back, if they are looking at it over my shoulder (if I am not wearing the hood). I get my clothes back on, and she takes us back into 3D. I am blushing since everyone heard her take off my clothes.

Aya-chan pulls me to Gang Orca and asks, “Is this cute enough?” Gang Orca smirks and says, “It is a step in the right direction.” He looks at Bakugo and says, “You need a lot more than something cute, since you are still very ‘intimidating’ to the actors. You still pass, however, please be careful how you talk to civilians.” He smacks his teeth and mumbles, “Only weaklings get intimidated.” Gang Orca, having heard his mumbles, says, “All heroes are stronger than civilians. They are expected to put the public at ease while keeping them safe. I suggest you do like Hops here, and get a partner who can communicate, so you don’t have to.”

Bakugo clenches his fist and, surprisingly, seems to take his advice to heart. Gang Orca waves to the tired guy who has been working with Him for these remedial lessons/tests, and he hands us our provisional hero licenses. He yawns, “About time that you kids got these licenses. They have me working so much overtime that I hardly have time to sleep.” His eyes are basically closing, and he accidentally mixes up a few students' licenses, and they immediately swap them without making a stink about it.

All Might was here and picked us up. On the way back to UA, several villains ride a wave and steal purses. All Might stops the car, and he says, “Stay right here, children. I shall dispatch these villains.” Bakugo yells, “I want to kill them!” Todoroki says in his calm and collected voice, “We only just received our provisional licenses, and All Might is more than sufficient to handle small-time villains like those.” Bakugo yells, “Shut it, Icy-Hot! Nobody asked you!” Aya-chan reassures All Might, “We will teleport him back into the car if he tries to fight.” All Might gives her a thumbs up, and he zooms and almost instantaneously subdues the villains and retrieves all of the stolen property.

As we watch All Might return their belongings, Aya-chan asks Bakugo, “Do you still feel like you are behind your classmates? Is that why you wanted to go?” He smacks his teeth while irritatingly stuffing his hands in his pockets and grumbles, “Tsk. Just shut up.” Aya-chan smiles, “Well, you aren’t alone, Bakugo. We feel behind as well.” He bares his teeth to Aya-chan, then looks back out the window, scowling more than me, “I don’t need your pity. Tsk.” He seems boiling over, and Sir Floof comes out and steps on a few of our laps since we are pretty cramped in here. Bakugo yells, “Tell that furball to go back where it came from!

We use armament to protect ourselves from Sir Floof’s paws while Sir Floof places his ribbons on Bakugo. He sighs, and he says in a calm tone while looking back out of the window, “Just because you didn’t get your license with the others doesn’t mean that you didn’t get ahead also, losers. I heard the teachers murmuring about a secret mission you two went on, and it is frustrating that everyone is getting practical experience already.” Once Bakugo seems calm, Sir Floof chirps happily, and I pet him. After getting some pets, he went back inside his pokéball to give us more space. Everyone sighed in relief, and Aya-chan giggled at the synchronicity.

Since All Might is really fast, he wasn’t long at all in taking the villains to the police and returning to the car. He squeezes into the small sedan in an almost comical manner, since he is so large and muscular, buckles his seat belt, and says, while looking into the rearview mirror, “Let’s get you kids back to UA.” The spiky bastard smacks his teeth, “Tsk. About damn time.” All Might smiles with that iconic bright smile and starts driving. I hate riding in a car with my quirk. It just feels so slow and like a waste of my time, but they refused to let us use our quirks to go home.

After about 30 minutes, we arrived back at UA. Aya-chan was messaging our classmates. Toru and Tsu came out to meet us excitedly, then ran to us and hugged Aya-chan. While they were hugging, the nerd excitedly greeted the spiky bastard, “Congrats on getting your provisional license, Kacchan! Kubo texted me telling me the good news!” He yells while walking past the nerd, “Shut it, nerd! I don’t need your support! I will become number one on my own!”

While the spikey bastard was yelling at the nerd, Todoroki quietly entered the dorms, and Toru said excitedly to us while hugging Aya-chan and Tsu, “Congratulations on getting your provisional licenses!” Toru waved for me to join, and Tsu just snapped her tongue around me and yanked me into the group hug.  After releasing me with her tongue, Tsu says, “What she said, ribbit.” I sigh and accept it, and Aya-chan says, smiling and holding back laughter (I can tell even though I can’t see her face because of the slight shift in her voice), “If you didn’t grab her, I was going to.” I groan, and she laughs along with Tsu and Toru.

All three of them ruffle my hair affectionately, and my groaning gets louder. After the hug, my hair is a mess, and I pop a jawbreaker and teleport inside the dorms. Yaomomo laughs when she sees me, “Is that sex-hair I see?!” I blush furiously as the rest of the class starts laughing at me, and I continue teleporting up the stairs quickly to our dorm room. I immediately brush my hair when I get into the room and fix it so nobody else mentions it.

After fixing my hair, I cover myself with the comforter on the bed we hardly use in embarrassment, wishing I could just disappear in the darkness of the comforter. Not long after I was enveloped in the comforter, I heard the door open and Aya-chan’s giggle. She sits next to me and strokes my head through the comforter and asks, “I take it that you want to disappear from Yaomomo’s comment?” I take it that they told her what she said.

I groan as I clutch the comforter tighter around me, “Why do they have to say such embarrassing shit all of the time?” Aya-chan continues to stroke my head on top of the comforter, “Like me, they like seeing you flustered as well. They really enjoy your gap-moe.” I smack my teeth, “I don’t understand why you say I have a gap-moe, when I am just me.” Aya-chan says while wearing a smile since her voice sounds even better, “Well, to them, there is a stark difference. But to me, I know that it is just you.” I sigh, knowing that obviously she knows me best, and she asks, “Can I come in there with you?”

I lift the edge of the comforter, and she comes in, and she wraps me with her tentacles as they do the sensual wiggle when she is aroused. Her mouth meets mine, and we start kissing. She reaches her hand under my shirt, and I return the gesture and gently squeeze her breast as we continue to make out. A knock interrupted us, and it startled me so much that I caused both of us to get caught on the blanket and fall to the ground from the bed as I muttered, “Shit!”  Aya-chan and I both grunt in mild pain, and then she giggles.

I hear Sato’s voice from the other side of the door, “I made a cake while you were out. I have it downstairs.” I perk up at the sound of his cake. I love his cakes. They might not be as good as Deonte’s, but they are still very delicious, and I can easily use my quirk with them if I need to. I mean, obviously. It takes something I really don’t like to not activate my quirk… like licorice. Ewww. I almost shiver just thinking of the taste of licorice. Aya-chan still has her hand on my breast even though we are on the floor, and she squeezes it and giggles, “Looks like we are going downstairs, judging by your adorable face right now.”

We head downstairs, and Toru says to the class as we come down, and I hear her: “Don’t tease her or she will disappear like an elusive unicorn.” I pull my hood down to cover my face as we make the final descent from the stairs, and Ashido says, “She probably would look like one if we put gel in her bangs that she hides behind.” Aya-chan then chimes in as we walk in the direction of the cake, “She would never let you guys do that, but she might let me.” I muttered so only Aya-chan, Shoji, and Jiro could hear, “You already know that I would do anything you want, Aya-chan, so please don’t embarrass me.”

She giggles in that way she does when she wants to see me flustered, and she said in a whisper in my ear in that sexy voice of hers, “Don’t worry. I would only tease you like that for my eyes only.” I got a nosebleed from the way she said it and almost got it on the cake (since by now we'd reached the cake), but Aya-chan was prepared and had a tissue ready for my nose. We sat down at the table as I held the tissue to my nose while Sato cut me a piece of cake, and apparently, I got the slice that said “Con” from “Congratulations” and placed it on the table where we were walking. Sato obviously didn’t mean anything by it, but Ashido makes a joke, “Ha. The villain-looking student gets the piece that says ‘con’.” I mean, I have seen myself, so I don’t let it bother me too much, and Aya-chan giggles and says, “You are my little ‘con’.” I blush at her words since she knows that I have broken plenty of laws since we have been together… We both have. Some in the name of justice, while others in the heat of the moment.

The rest of the class laughs, minus the spiky bastard, who just sighs since he understands being called a villain. I use the tissue that is stopping my nose bleed and rip off pieces to stick in my nostrils before eating my cake. I moan as I take a bite of cake since it is delicious. It isn’t too rich, it's perfectly sweet, light, and moist. It may not be as fluffy as Deonte’s cakes, but it doesn’t take away from the skill it must have taken to make this. He is a better baker than I am, that is for sure. After enjoying our cake, we brushed our teeth here in the dorms in the communal bathroom and then did our nightly ritual to return to our apartment.
