The Rule-Breaker of the Doomsday Game
Chapter 448: The Red Sea Witch and the Firstborn of the Divine Word
When the waves of the Red Sea calmed, countless giant dragons lay dead, their bodies torn to pieces.
Lilith’s breathing grew ragged and uneven. Every single one of those giant dragons was her child.
And now, they had vanished, all because of some absurd contraption of steel. How could she not be furious?
"One should have a healthy fear of the unknown," Qi Suian said as he stepped into the crimson vortex. Countless fibrous strands swirled protectively around him as he looked toward the Red Sea Witch Lilith in the distance.
The entire Red Sea, as far as the eye could see, was a vast expanse of blood-red.
However, it wasn’t purely seawater; there were also barren stretches of land.
But because of the intercontinental missiles, the Red Sea had already been left in ruins.
Qi Suian had, after all, used a set of Legendary Equipment Stones to enhance his strategic missile weapons system. Combined with multiple evolutions, module synergies, and various augmentations, its power was on a completely different level now.
"You should heed those words yourself." Beside Lilith, her Eldest Dragon Man spoke coldly before transforming into a streak of crimson lightning and lunging at Qi Suian.
His speed was incredible, and his power was immense.
The Thunder Spear in his hand shot toward Qi Suian’s chest, only to be stopped by Qi Suian’s corresponding shield and defense modules.
"You’re not bad. Much stronger than that so-called Dragon of Destruction." Qi Suian reached out and squeezed. A gauntlet formed from polymorphic energy and Dark Energy Beams easily crushed the Thunder Spear in the Dragon Man’s hand.
Then, in a smooth upward motion, he seized the other’s head in his hand.
"God says my eldest son shall gain a powerful physique," came the voice of the Red Sea Witch Lilith.
The entire Red Sea began to churn violently, and a crimson radiance appeared on the body of the Eldest Dragon Man, who was still pinned by Qi Suian.
His strength instantly skyrocketed, allowing him to break free from Qi Suian’s grip.
Seeing this, Qi Suian’s gaze fell upon the Red Sea Witch.
He was well aware of one crucial principle: the importance of taking out the backline, of killing the healer.
Therefore, he immediately abandoned the Eldest Dragon Man and charged directly at the Red Sea Witch.
The Red Sea Witch panicked when she saw this.
Mainly, she had taken a beating from Qi Suian before, and on top of that, she had no real combat experience. Of course she was afraid.
"God says my eldest son shall gain agile reflexes." As she said this, the Red Sea Witch turned and fled.
Don’t be fooled by the Red Sea Witch’s simple words. At first glance, they might seem unimaginative, but they were direct, crude, and powerful buffs.
The power of the Red Sea wasn’t infinite. Even if the Red Sea Witch declared that the Eldest Dragon Man could surpass the speed of light, it couldn’t be realized.
The Eldest Dragon Man precisely slammed into Qi Suian, sending him stumbling back, almost knocking him over.
"Ant, this is the Red Sea!!!" Empowered by the Red Sea Witch’s two divine proclamations, the Thunder Spear in the Eldest Dragon Man’s hand actually broke through Qi Suian’s shield.
However, his defense modules were strong enough to block the attack directly.
’He can actually break my shield and keep up with my speed.’
’Looks like I can’t kill the Red Sea Witch without killing you first.’ Qi Suian realized that the Eldest Dragon Man’s physique and agility now surpassed his own.
His attempt to take out the backline had failed. He had to attack this minion with the taunt ability first.
"God says my eldest son shall possess lightning that shatters all things," the Red Sea Witch’s voice came once more.
Qi Suian’s expression darkened. Attack, speed, and defense—they were all maxed out now.
Sure enough, the crimson lightning around the Eldest Dragon Man’s body condensed until it seemed solid, and the Thunder Spear in his hand grew even more frenzied.
He was certain that if the man speared him now, it would definitely pierce through his shield and defenses, and then... there would be no ’then’.
Just a month ago, he had added an insulator to himself, allowing him to resist lightning-type damage to the greatest possible degree.
All he could say was that his luck was truly good; otherwise, he would have been screwed long ago.
The Eldest Dragon Man brandished his Thunder Spear and thrust it toward Qi Suian’s chest.
It seemed that because the Red Sea was so isolated, neither the Red Sea Witch nor the Dragon Race had undergone much development.
Thus, even for the Eldest Dragon Man, the most experienced fighter among them, his move set was limited to just a few techniques.
However, though his techniques were few, they were extremely effective.
It was simply that every single move was fatal.
"You’re still just a little bit off," Qi Suian said, reaching out to grab the Thunder Spear once again.
An indescribable Halo Force Field instantly spread from his body. Then, up close, he landed a simple punch on the Eldest Dragon Man’s chest.
Qi Suian put his full power into this punch. Enhanced by the indescribable force field and numerous modules, it instantly turned the Eldest Dragon Man into a pulp of flesh.
The lightning was annihilated, and blood and gore flew everywhere.
At the same time, enveloped in the indescribable Halo Force Field, his flesh began to regenerate grotesquely. Even as he recovered, he no longer resembled his original Dragon Man form.
He lost his most familiar way of fighting, gaining instead a mass of deformed, twisted organs that served only to hinder him.
When the Eldest Dragon Man finished regenerating, he had become a bizarre mass of flesh. All sorts of tumors, organs, and limbs grew on its surface.
Before, the Eldest Dragon Man had been protected by dragon scales, possessed a complete set of organs and structures that enhanced his abilities, and his own evolution was near-perfect.
Nothing like this cumbersome mess.
At the same time, his mind and consciousness were also affected, constantly being driven toward chaos.
Thankfully, his mother was the Red Sea Witch, and he bore the power of the Red Sea. His reason continually suppressed the chaos, allowing him to regain his senses.
But the first thing he faced upon waking was his own ruined body.
The Red Sea Witch noticed this as well, and her expression grew even uglier.
She didn’t know what had happened, only that Qi Suian had used some unknown method to turn her Eldest Dragon Man into a nauseating monster.
"God says my eldest son shall be restored to his original form and shall not fear change."
Even though she didn’t understand it, as long as the power of the Red Sea could take effect, that was all that mattered.
Under her divine proclamation, the Eldest Dragon Man’s body began to contract. The tumors, organs, and other growths started to wither and fall off.
All of this happened quickly, but Qi Suian was faster.
How could he possibly stand by and watch his opponent recover? Instead, he seized the opportunity to change targets and go after the Red Sea Witch.
"Shut up, you bitch!" Qi Suian’s fist slammed into the Red Sea Witch’s jaw, shattering it on the spot.
When he said "shut up," he didn’t mean it metaphorically. He was shutting her up physically.
After shattering the Red Sea Witch’s jaw with one punch, Qi Suian decided it wasn’t enough. He went further, prying her jaws open, grabbing her tongue, and preparing to rip it out by the root.
BOOM!
Crimson lightning struck Qi Suian in the back. The restored Eldest Dragon Man had rushed to his mother’s aid.
Because of that blow, Qi Suian didn’t just rip out her tongue; he tore away a large chunk of flesh along with it.
He had taken a hit, but the damage he dealt was worth it.
Qi Suian paid it no mind. He held the Red Sea Witch tight and mercilessly smashed several more fists into her.
Every punch was thrown with his full strength. The moves were simple and unadorned, but devastatingly effective, caving in the Red Sea Witch’s chest on the spot.
Her neck and abdomen were also severely damaged in the process.
After those few punches, the Eldest Dragon Man finally arrived.
"Mother!!!" The Eldest Dragon Man raised his Thunder Spear in grief and thrust it straight through Qi Suian’s head.
Lightning flashed, and in an instant, Qi Suian was completely engulfed in crimson lightning.
Death closed in instantly, turning Qi Suian’s entire body to charred carbon.
Meanwhile, free from Qi Suian’s assault, the Red Sea Witch’s injuries rapidly healed.
"He’s finally dead. Robert, you did well," the Red Sea Witch praised her Eldest Dragon Man as soon as she recovered.
But just as she finished her praise, a charred hand reached out from within the crimson lightning.
The hand tore directly through the Eldest Dragon Man’s chest cavity, grabbed his heart, and squeezed.
The heart was utterly pulverized.
The Eldest Dragon Man did not die, but the loss of his heart made his body go limp.
Then, the energy swirling around the charred hand instantly ripped through half of the Eldest Dragon Man’s body, tearing him in two.
"Dead? Hah," came Qi Suian’s scornful voice.
He destroyed the crimson lightning with a Dark Energy Beam as the charred outer layer of his skin began to flake off, revealing his restored body beneath.
With his power, even if he couldn’t dodge the Eldest Dragon Man’s sneak attack, he could withstand it.
The reason he allowed himself to be hit and engulfed by the lightning was simply to use himself as bait for a one-hit kill.
And the facts proved he had succeeded.
He blasted the bisected Eldest Dragon Man into a bloody mist once more, and this time, Qi Suian gave him no chance to recover.
He divided the bloody mist into numerous portions and threw them into the Melting Furnace, forcefully suppressing its activity before cranking the furnace’s firepower to the maximum.
After dealing with the Eldest Dragon Man, Qi Suian’s gaze fell upon the Red Sea Witch.
The moment Qi Suian looked at her, the Red Sea Witch hastily tried to flee again.
Seeing this, how could Qi Suian possibly let her get away?
"God says I shall..."
The Red Sea Witch began to speak again, but Qi Suian was faster. He smashed a fist into the back of her head, sending her stumbling.
As if he would let her finish. Not a chance.
"The use of force is forbidden here!!!" the Red Sea Witch roared, enduring the intense pain and discomfort.
Qi Suian’s movements faltered. He could feel the entire Red Sea trying to stop him, a sensation like being trapped in quicksand with no escape.
At the same time, all his power began to drain away, crashing into the Red Sea itself.
"Hah, I refuse to believe I can’t overcome a mere alternate dimension," Qi Suian said coldly.
Without hesitation, Qi Suian cranked the Energy Modules within his body to maximum output.
The Red Sea wasn’t an entire world. There was no guarantee Qi Suian would lose to it; it would just come at a price.
However, no matter how great the price, as long as he could obtain the World Core, the returns would make it all more than worthwhile.
