The Rule-Breaker of the Doomsday Game

Chapter 446: Limited-Time Event: Red Sea Dragon Disaster

  • Next Chapter

A month passed in a flash. A massive number of fibrous organisms formed a vast wasteland, continuously expanding with Qi Suian at its center.

The process was short but ruthlessly efficient. Qi Suian's plan had inflicted a massive impact on the entire world.

Both the ecosystem and civilization suffered a devastating blow.

Recovering from this would be no easy task.

However, Qi Suian didn't care. After all, things like destruction, slaughter, and annihilation were routine for him.

His gaze fell on the Evil Key in his hand. He began to activate it using the fifteen Blood Race Blood Seals he had extracted.

The Evil Key was activated, and a blood-red vortex slowly emerged, continuously expanding.

"It's out of control. It seems the Red Sea Witch has been quite pent-up in her boudoir." Qi Suian watched as the blood-red vortex, which had suddenly swelled, spun out of his control.

This didn't surprise him.

If he were the one trapped in some alternate dimension for an unknown number of eons, he'd definitely seize control the moment the door was opened.

Just to make sure he wasn't locked up again.

Besides, the Evil Key only opened the passage; it wasn't the core that controlled the Red Sea.

Just as the Red Sea was opened, the Doomsday Game, right on cue, announced a limited-time event for a New World Pass.

[Limited-Time Event: Red Sea Dragon Disaster]

[Objective: Survive for seven days]

[Reward: New World Pass]

Qi Suian glanced at the timer and breathed a sigh of relief.

'The intensity seems manageable. If the timer was measured in hours, the difficulty would be astronomical.'

'The fact that it's measured in days implies the enemies' strength is limited.'

From within the blood-red vortex that blotted out the sky, a massive, lizard-like head emerged.

It was a dragon—the kind that represents evil in the West.

'It's that big? How did the Red Sea Witch give birth to... oh, right, they're oviparous.' Qi Suian knew the Red Sea Witch looked human, so she couldn't possibly be a giant.

'Otherwise, even Adam wouldn't have been able to handle it.'

"So this is the legendary Human Realm? The place Mother has always wanted to return to." The dragon was just speaking normally, yet its voice was extremely loud.

Then, its enormous body tried to squeeze out of the blood-red vortex.

However, its body was far larger than the vortex itself, making it extremely difficult to squeeze through.

"A beast this big will definitely make for some potent fuel!" Qi Suian was eager to give it a try.

'As for its power? It's definitely stronger than the Piercing Demon and the Blood Bath Queen.'

'However, their strengths lay in different areas. As members of the Blood Race, their power came from their control over rules and their unkillable nature.'

The Dragon Race, on the other hand, had no such abilities.

With the model of world rules in his grasp, Qi Suian could naturally deduce the creature's situation through his calculations.

The Dragon Race lacked rule-based abilities and immortality, but their strength was raw and immense.

"'It belongs in my Melting Furnace as fuel!'" As he spoke, Qi Suian transformed into a streak of light and slammed directly onto the great dragon's skull.

With his physique, brute strength, and speed, he instantly pierced straight through the great dragon's skull. As he shot out the other side, Qi Suian even yanked out a large chunk of its brain.

"'Big body, but easier to kill than the Piercing Demon and the Blood Bath Queen,'" Qi Suian muttered, stuffing the brain into his Melting Furnace.

And just like that, the great dragon's body tumbled out of the blood-red vortex.

That's right. It was dead.

Unlike the Blood Race, it didn't have numerous, obvious weaknesses, but it still had vital spots like its brain and heart.

Before the great dragon's corpse could even hit the ground, countless fibrous organisms swarmed over and devoured its body completely, leaving not a single scrap behind.

"'In terms of raw power, this dragon could have easily defeated the Piercing Demon and the Blood Bath Queen combined. Too bad it wasn't unkillable,' Qi Suian remarked."

"ALVAREZ!!!" A draconic roar echoed from the portal. Clearly, the other members of the Dragon Race in the Red Sea had sensed that something was wrong.

Then, a comparatively smaller dragon charged out.

The first thing that met its eyes was the terrifying sight of countless bizarre, insect-like creatures swarming together.

For a moment, it was thoroughly terrified.

It also saw Alvarez, the dragon it had just called for. In the first instant, only a skeleton remained. A blink later, even the skeleton was gone, devoured completely.

"'Since you've come all this way, you might as well stay.' A grin spread across Qi Suian's face. Responding to his will, the starving fibrous organisms had already begun to gnaw on the new dragon."

Qi Suian could tell that the two dragons had different specializations. One focused on physical prowess, the other on Energy Magic.

In his judgment, they were undoubtedly among the strongest of the dragons in the Red Sea.

It was just their misfortune to run into the ridiculously overpowered Qi Suian; in the end, they could not escape death.

"No, Mother~"

The great dragon's wail had barely escaped its lips before it was devoured completely by the fibrous organisms.

"'Crying for mommy when you're in trouble... that's actually a good habit.' Qi Suian wasn't being sarcastic. After all, the Dragon Race's mother was the Red Sea Witch Lilith."

If he'd had a mother like that back before he left the Profound World, he'd have been calling out for her from dawn till dusk.

There's no shame in it. It's only natural.

But while the dragon had called out early, its mother was late to the party.

In the blood-red vortex, a tiny human figure emerged.

With his vision, Qi Suian could see her clearly.

'Good news: it's the Red Sea Witch Lilith.'

'Bad news: she's gorgeous. That's a problem. I need to kill her quickly, or my protagonist's halo will start acting up again.' Qi Suian's eyes narrowed.

Her looks certainly appealed to human aesthetics, but Qi Suian wasn't human.

It could only be said that because the protagonist's halo had only ever devoured other *human* protagonists, it still perceived Qi Suian as human.

"Neither human, nor of the Blood Race, and certainly not of the Dragon Race," Lilith's seductive voice drifted over. "What in the world are you?"

Qi Suian's expression remained placid. He could feel a potent, all-pervasive charm trying to corrode his Spirit and soul.

However, between his numerous passive abilities and his own willpower, Lilith's charm was rendered utterly useless.

He had no fear of control on the mental, spiritual, or psychic level. After dying so many times, his will had been forged into something harder than stone.

"I wonder what kind of powerful being our child would be." This time, Lilith's voice whispered right next to Qi Suian's ear.

As for Qi Suian, he pinned the approaching Lilith with his left hand as she tried to get intimate, while his right hand swung around and delivered a massive backhand slap.

The slap was so powerful it sent Lilith spinning through the air in two and a half full rotations.

"'Grandma, we're not a good match,' Qi Suian said grimly."

Lilith was beautiful enough to make one forget her age, but that only applied to ordinary people.

In Qi Suian's eyes, she was nothing more than withered bones beneath a beautiful face, a mere painted skin.

Besides, a being who had single-handedly given birth to the entire Dragon Race was definitely not as simple as she appeared.

'Her stats are a bit lower than mine, and she's not skilled in combat.' Qi Suian silently tagged Lilith with this assessment.

If she were truly stronger than him, even if she wasn't a skilled fighter, her raw stats alone would have been enough for her to react and even counter his attack.

Lilith scrambled to her feet after landing, clutching her face, her eyes filled with venomous hatred.

This was the first time she had been so utterly humiliated.

She had experienced many defeats since her birth, but never had she been so disgraced.

"'I will hang you up and make you my eternal…'" Lilith began to snarl, her mouth forming a vicious threat.

Before she could finish, she was cut off by another massive slap from Qi Suian.

This time, he put his full strength behind it, caving in the side of Lilith's head.

'Tough!' After the slap, Qi Suian hid his right hand behind his back. It was trembling slightly.

He was shocked that his full-strength slap hadn't blown her head clean off, only caved it in.

The shock of the blow finally snapped Lilith back to her senses. With her head still misshapen, she scrambled back toward the blood-red vortex in a panic.

As the Red Sea Witch, her power was drastically reduced outside of the Red Sea.

To think she'd been slapped twice by some nobody.

It was an absolute disgrace.

"'You've come all this way, so don't even think about going back.' Qi Suian knew her leaving the Red Sea had been a mistake."

And he had no intention of letting her correct it.

He closed the distance in an instant, tackling her to the ground before she could make it back to the portal.

He raised his fists and brought them down on her head. CRUNCH. CRUNCH.

Her already misshapen face was now a completely unrecognizable ruin.

So much for her legendary beauty. After being beaten into a pulpy mess, her face was unrecognizable.

"You're very bold. I hope you can maintain that boldness for what comes next." Lilith's anger had reached its peak, yet she hadn't lost her senses. Instead, a chilling calm washed over her.

Then, her entire body collapsed, dissolving into a pool of blood-red seawater.

She was dead, but not completely.

Upon death, she would simply resurrect within the Red Sea.

"'Resurrection, unkillable... So the Blood Race's immortality has something to do with you? Or did you obtain the power of the Blood Race Ancestor, Cain?' Qi Suian murmured."

Now that Lilith was back in the Red Sea, Qi Suian knew he wouldn't be able to just slap her around like that again.

"'Still, it wasn't a total loss. I managed to get a portion of Red Sea Witch Lilith's rule data.' Qi Suian fed it into his model of world rules."

After continuous calculations, he arrived at a piece of good news.

'The Red Sea Witch isn't the World Core. She's only acquired a fraction of its power.'

'And the World Core really is in the Red Sea!'

Qi Suian knew a tough battle lay ahead, especially now that he had to face the wrath of a Lilith whose posturing had been met with a brutal slap-down.

No sooner had the thought crossed his mind than the blood-red vortex began to churn, disgorging a dense swarm of great dragons.

These great dragons varied in size and shape. Qi Suian couldn't find two that were identical; at most, some were merely similar.

Clearly, an enraged Lilith had ordered the dragons to launch an all-out assault.

At the same time, his fibrous organisms grew restless. Under the control of his intelligent core, they began their Taotie's feast.
