The Romantic Cultivator

Chapter 344 The Red Mansion (1)

Ji Yuan and his party soon found an opening in the mountains after trekking for hours; they had long trekked past the black walls mountains and they were now in a zone where there were no thunderstorms.

While some of the maidens were sighing with regret after they had left the black walls mountains, Ji Yuan was sighing that he was unable to talk to Saint Jon for a much longer time.

Feng Minyue said coolly, “There is no point in looking back. We’re not turning back. While Ji Yuan is chatting with Saint Jon, you should spend your time to decipher the black walls instead.”

Ling Feiyue smiled bitterly, “How do we know that Ji Yuan can talk for more than two hours.”

Little Princess, Shui Xisi and Yu Jingjing were all groaning at the same time. “That’s right! He can really gossip like a woman.”

Ji Yuan: …

Ji Yuan: …

Ji Yuan: …

Bai Qianfeng returned a soft sigh, “Didn’t I already tell you that these profound arts have a flaw?”

Yu Jingjing giggled softly, “Maybe we can correct the flaws on our own.”

Ling Feiyue, Little Princess and Shui Xisi were all giggling in agreement with Yu Jingjing, “You are our good sister.”

Bai Qianfeng: …

“Doesn’t the name sound ominous to you? That is the Fallen Gods Valley. This will be the place that you will all fall in the future should you pick up the profound arts here.”

Ji Yuan sighed, “Actually we can’t blame them at all. After all, secret cultivation profound arts are what cause the celestials to fight all the time. I remember that there was once a powerful sword art that almost caused the entire Desolate Celestial Fraternity to go to arms. That happened thousands of years ago and more than a million celestials died because of that incident. In the end, many of the powerful profound arts of my celestial fraternity are lost till to this day.”

Little Princess smiled, “I am curious about the name of that sword art that can cause a million celestials to perish.”

Ji Yuan laughed, “Actually I can’t really remember since it is something that had happened several thousands of years ago. That sword art is probably forgotten in the river of time…”

“I do remember the name of that supreme sword art.” Little Princess giggled as she gave him a wink. “It is the Million Flashes Sword Art.”

Ji Yuan blinked his eyes slowly, “Then…why…didn’t you say…so…earlier?”

Little Princess sighed softly, “I did tell you.”

Ji Yuan smiled bitterly, “Is it too late for us to turn back now?”

Feng Minyue had suddenly pulled Ji Yuan’s hand, “It is too late to turn back now. Let’s go forward instead.”

Ji Yuan gasped silently; she is pulling my hand…

All the other maidens were also startled that Feng Minyue had taken the initiative to pull Ji Yuan along with her.

Xiang Li giggled in Ji Yuan’s soul sea, “Big Brother, Maiden Feng likes you!”

“Nonsense Xiang Li.” Ji Yuan laughed weakly, “All my good impressions are all gone by now. Haha.”

“What is that?” Feng Minyue said all of a sudden as she pointed at a red cliff that had appeared in the horizon ahead of them.

There was a shimmering red portal that was blocking the entrance of this red cliff.

Shui Xisi smiled, “We may have found the way to the next part of the trial.”

Ling Feiyue said excitingly, “Let’s go in!”

Then she looked at Feng Minyue and Ji Yuan, “So, how long are you going to hold hands?”

Feng Minyue gasped as she quickly loosened her grip on Ji Yuan as she had not realized that she had been holding him all this while.

Actually it was mainly because Ji Yuan had also caught hold of her hands as well.

Ji Yuan chuckled. “Haha..”

It did not take them long enough to enter into the shimmering red portal;

They soon found themselves in a big vast red hall and there was a black stele near to where they had appeared.

Touching the black stele soon revealed that this place was called the ‘Red Mansion’.

And they were not alone in this vast great hall.

There were dozens of passageways and they saw hundreds of cultivators.

Ji Yuan was quite startled to see so many cultivators and all of them were studying the red walls of the hall with their divine senses.

An alluring maiden in red with an upper face mask had suddenly caught Ji Yuan’s attention but he pretended not to notice her; this alluring maiden had a wonderful figure and her mesmerizing charm could even rival Little Princess.

She was wearing a short red skirt that revealed her beautiful legs and Ji Yuan enjoys looking at legs.

Ji Yuan secretly gave her a score of 9.9. Maybe a 10 if he could see her face.

Naturally Ji Yuan had an all-round vision and he could secretly look at her without any of the maidens in his party knowing about it; his eyes are really sharp and he can peek at the edge of his eyes with a subtle movement.

Little Princess whispered to her party, “Did you all see that maiden in red over there? Even if I am a woman, I can’t help admiring her stunning beauty.”

Shui Xisi chuckled, “I feel like taking off my curtain veil for a better look too.”

But Ji Yuan pretended not to see the maiden in red.

Ling Feiyue giggled, “This is too weird. How come Ji Yuan fails to notice such a stunning beauty?”

Ji Yuan muttered, “I am paying great attention to the red walls here.”

“That is indeed weird. Maybe he has suddenly become a gay?” Shui Xisi giggled softly.

Ji Yuan: …

Bai Qianfeng had just finished quietly analyzing part of the red walls with her divine sense and she had turned to say to everyone, “Hidden within these walls are cultivation profound arts as well. Although it is nowhere as complete as the black walls outside but it seems to be flawless so far.”

Ji Yuan was cursing softly, “Maybe if we can find the imperfect Million Flashes Sword Art outside and the incomplete Million Flashes Art, we can restore the Million Flashes Sword Art. It is like 1+1…”

“Stop thinking about it.” Ling Feiyue kicked his foot gently. “It is already too late for regrets. You’re the one that is in such a hurry.”

“Haha.” Ji Yuan laughed weakly.

Shui Xisi giggled, “Maybe it isn’t too late to study the invisible inscriptions here?”

All the maidens were suddenly looking at Ji Yuan for his suggestion.

Little Princess said charmingly, “It doesn’t hurt the least bit to stay for a little longer?”

Shui Xisi, Ling Feiyue and Yu Jingjing were all nodding with beautiful smiles on their faces, even though Ji Yuan could not see their expressions.

Ji Yuan could feel that they were all looking at him for a suggestion.

But in his heart, he had also wanted to stay a little longer but the thought that the Death God Mingwang was on his back made him really uneasy.

So he said solemnly, “We have to keep moving.”

Feng Minyue and Bai Qianfeng were both nodding lightly.

Bai Qianfeng did not want to stay in the place for too long even though there were literally tons of cultivation profound arts that could even tempt an immortal; it was because presence of the Death God Mingwang was making her feel really uneasy as well.

Somehow she got the feeling that the Death God Mingwang was also going after her instead of Ji Yuan alone.

The power ranking of this Death God Mingwang is actually not beneath the Great Demon Lord.

The Great Demon Lord, the Death God Mingwang and the Dragon Lord Longdi are three of the True Desolate Rulers of the Desolate Realm before the arrival of the Desolate Immortals in their Ancient Fortress.

With their permissions, the Desolate Immortals are allowed to have a dwelling place in their new home the Desolate Realm and the four factions formed an equilibrium balance.

The Desolate Immortals are not always known as the Desolate Immortals but as the Immortals of the Gods’ Realm. They are only known as the Desolate Immortals after they were forced to be exiled to the Desolate Realm by the Great God Pangu.𝑶𝓋𝐥𝒩xt.𝗰𝑶𝑚

At that time the Desolate Immortals were not weaker than any of the True Desolate Rulers because they had two great immortal lords as well; the World Ruler Fuxi and the Great Lord Xuan Yuan.

However the Desolate Immortals may not be a match for the combined three True Desolate Rulers. Luckily for the Desolate Immortals, the three True Desolate Rulers were at odds since the beginning of their time reckoning.

In fact, many of the Desolate Immortals had become their pawns as they waged their everlasting battles against one another.

At least that was what Bai Qianfeng had understood.

She could not understand how the Death God Mingwang could be serving the schemes of the Great Demon Lord now.

“Handsome hero.” A beautiful maiden in fiery red with a black mask that covered her upper face except for her golden eyes had suddenly approached them with a curtsy smile. Or rather, it was her head that had bowed instead of her smile.

But Ji Yuan was only looking at her beautiful red lips and her smiles.

“Haha, do I know you?” He asked curiously.

He could not tell which celestial fraternity that she was from her dress but she was definitely not from the Desolate Celestial Fraternity and hence, not someone that he would actually know.

Ling Feiyue frowned softly, “You’ve better not know her.”

It was because Ling Feiyue and all the maidens could see that she was a really very beautiful maiden and her black mask had only thinly covered only her upper face.

Even Qianfeng’s green cockatiel was whistling a wolf call when she had approached.

Ji Yuan rolled his eyes; he had almost forgotten about this green cockatiel that was always on his Qianfeng’s shoulder…

The other cultivators that were nearby, males and female alike were all looking at this red dress maiden from the very start because she was simply too attractive.

The attractive maiden in red laughed pleasantly, “Naturally you won’t know a nobody like me but you’re definitely someone with a powerful background. And even a genius cultivator.”

“Oh? Haha.” Ji Yuan felt flattered, “How come I do not know that I have a powerful background?”

The attractive maiden in red smiled shyly, “You really do know how to joke. Look at your robe. It must have cost at least a million high grade spirit stones. If you do not have a powerful background, can you afford it? Or unless you’re a thief.”

Ji Yuan laughed as he purposely shook his brilliant golden robe. “Haha…”

The attractive maiden in red continued shyly, “And it is obvious to me that you have six beautiful attendants with you too…”

Ling Feiyue, Little Princess, Shui Xisi, Bai Qianfeng, Feng Minyue and Yu Jingjing: …

We are attendants?!

“I can only make a humble guess that you’re a prince of the Golden Majesty Celestial Empire, am I right?” The attractive maiden in red chuckled softly. “After all, there are some distinct clues in the marking of this robe.”

Ji Yuan smiled awkwardly, “Actually I’m not a prince but I am merely a knight of the Golden Majesty Celestial Empire.” He had just remembered that Prince Hua Yingxiong had made him an honorable knight of the Golden Majesty Celestial Empire.

“Alas, I am indeed mistaken about my guess.” She nodded awkwardly and her awkwardness made her looked even more alluring. “But I’m not too far from my guess. A knight of the Golden Majesty Celestial Empire is still a powerful figure. I’ve heard that there are one hundred powerful Knights of the Round Table in the Golden Majesty Celestial Empire.”

“Haha.” Ji Yuan smiled awkwardly; he actually did not know a lot about the Golden Majesty Celestial Empire.

“Also, if you’re not a genius cultivator, you won’t be in this place but struck outside the black walls mountains outside.” She winked lovingly at him.

She paused for a while before adding pleasantly, “My name is Yun Chi. How about yours?”

Ji Yuan laughed, “My name is Ji Yuan.”

“It is my great honor to be able to talk to a great hero like Ji Yuan here today.” Yun Chi giggled with delight.

“Me too, haha.” Ji Yuan was delighted as well; he had never seen such a pleasant, polite and vixen looking maiden in his life before.

His golden eyes were already exploring every inch of her scantily dressed body.

Ji Yuan failed to notice that the maidens behind him seemed to have a coldness around them and they seemed to feel threaten by this ‘new competitor’.
