The Rogue Villager Chen Erbao

Chapter 207: You'll Have to Pay More

  • Next Chapter

'Not even an upgraded mud mask at ten thousand yuan a pop can compare to this Essence Milk!'

'This is the very essence of a Qi Refining Fourth Layer expert. How could I let it go to waste!'

Lin Zhiqing shot Chen Erbao a helpless glare, suppressed her discomfort, and swallowed.

With enough foreplay done, Chen Erbao helped Lin Zhiqing to her feet. He gave her rounded buttocks a slap, and the full flesh rippled like a wave.

Lin Zhiqing knew exactly what to do. She obediently turned around, placed her hands on the sink, bent at the waist, and thrust out her hips—all in one smooth motion.

Chen Erbao held her slender waist, his gaze traveling down Lin Zhiqing's smooth back to rest on her peach-like rear.

He couldn't resist raising his hand to give it a few gentle slaps.

SLAP, SLAP, SLAP...

Wincing in pain, Lin Zhiqing glanced back to glare at him. "Hurry up!"

She impatiently wiggled her hips, actively backing into him.

The Stabilizing Needle broke through all resistance, a direct hit to the soul!

"Ngh... Slower..."

Lin Zhiqing was the same as always—a total pushover. She was all talk before they started, but the moment the battle was joined, she began to beg for mercy.

Chen Erbao let Lin Zhiqing acclimate for a moment before launching his assault.

The powerful force nearly made Lin Zhiqing lose her footing. Her body swayed uncontrollably, like a small boat struggling in a storm, in constant danger of being swallowed by the waves.

Chen Erbao reached forward, grabbing her two large breasts. Using them for leverage, he began an even more ferocious assault.

Just as he expected, Lin Zhiqing couldn't handle such an onslaught and was quickly routed, surrendering completely.

But Chen Erbao wasn't finished. He lifted one of Lin Zhiqing's legs, forcing her to stand on the other, and began to sprint once more.

Finally, upon reaching a mysterious place at the very end, they both shuddered, surrendering to each other at the same time.

When they were finished, Lin Zhiqing leaned against Chen Erbao's chest, completely drained of energy. Chen Erbao turned on the faucet and gently washed her clean.

After they dried off, they slipped under the covers, nestled against each other, and fell fast asleep.

...

Just as Chen Erbao was finishing his "battle," Zhou Yuan sat alone in what was once Zhou Er's headquarters. He took out an encrypted satellite phone and dialed a long-unused number.

"The Sky King covers the Earth Tiger!"

Hearing this, Zhou Yuan calmly replied:

"Chicken stew with mushrooms!"

With the exchange of completely unrelated code phrases complete, the person on the other end finally spoke in fluent, unaccented Chinese:

"What do you need?"

"I'd like to hire Master Charles to kill someone for me."

"Name, address, identity."

The cold, emotionless voice on the other end of the line replied.

"Chen Erbao. He's from Bailong Village in Cyan Mountain Town, Hongyuan City, Jiangnan Province, China. A partner of the Medicine King Hall and the founder of the Dream Fantasia mud mask."

Zhou Yuan had already investigated Chen Erbao's background and knew it inside and out.

On the other end of the line, a burly, scar-faced man furrowed his brow.

'Why does this information sound so familiar?'

'Whatever!'

He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts.

"Business in China is tough these days. The security bureau's cracking down..."

"I'll pay more!"

"In that case... How strong is the target?"

The man agreed instantly upon hearing the offer of more money.

"Humans die for wealth as birds die for food." The client was offering more money. For that, they wouldn't just kill an ordinary person; they'd even dare to take a shot at the leader of China!

Of course, that was just bravado. Mess around and find out.

Zhou Yuan wasn't an Ancient Martial Artist himself, but when he recalled his target's track record, he felt a knot of conflicting emotions.

"He easily took down a hundred experienced thugs, and he wasn't even going all out."

"That's trouble... an Ancient Martial Artist... You'll have to pay more."

"Five hundred million. Fifty million upfront, and the rest will be transferred upon completion."

"Deal!"

Five hundred million Yuan was no small sum. For them, this was a major contract.

It was just... the target's information seemed increasingly familiar...

The liaison frowned.

They had just been taking on so many contracts lately that he couldn't quite place it.

Things weren't peaceful in Central Asia-Europe, so business was booming.

After hanging up, Zhou Yuan slowly lowered his head, his face disappearing into the shadows. The overhead light glinted off his balding scalp...

...

「Zhongnan Island, the Triangle Zone.」

The operator had just finished his shift. Thinking about that last contract, he habitually opened the company's main operations platform and immediately saw a mission pinned to the top of the list.

The name, address, and identity on the mission were identical to the one he had just taken!

He felt a surge of joy.

'I can get a commission for this!'

'One target, two separate clients. That means we basically get paid twice for one job!'

'As the contract handler, I get a hefty commission!'

This was the best thing that had happened to him at work all month.

'Forget it. I'll just quit next month!' he thought. 'He'd wanted to quit countless times this month, but now something good had finally happened. He'd just have to put up with his bastard of a boss a little longer, at least until this month's commission came through!'

He was about to pack up and head home when the phone rang again.

'Fuck!'

'Are we really this busy?' he thought, expertly snatching up the receiver. 'I was about to clock out. Which asshole is it now?!'

Despite his internal cursing, he still maintained a modicum of professionalism.

"The Sky King covers the Earth Tiger!"

"Chicken stew with mushrooms."

The person on the other end sounded like a first-timer; their voice was noticeably unsteady.

They got a fair number of clients like this. The operator understood.

'The first time is always the hardest,' he thought. 'Life is long, and you're bound to have a few enemies you can't stand but can't get rid of on your own. That's where we come in. We're happy to help, for a small fee, of course!'

Normally, after the code phrase exchange, you were supposed to wait for the client to speak first. That was the rule.

But this client clearly didn't get the memo. The operator waited in silence for a long moment, but the other end remained quiet.

"Just say what you want!" he blurted out in a thick Northeast accent.

The person on the other end of the line paused.

'That accent... he's from back home!'

A wave of kinship washed over him, dispelling some of the gloom and humiliation he felt.

"I'd like to hire you to kill someone for me."

"Name, address, identity."

The operator had said those words countless times. To be honest, he was so sick of repeating them that he wanted to puke.

He was probably just sick of the monotonous grind.

But what could he do? He was just a corporate drone. He didn't have any other special skills, and being an actual assassin was too high-risk.

'The pay is low, but the job is safe and easy!' he thought. 'When the boss isn't around, he could sneak off to the bathroom to slack off and read a web novel for a bit.'

Other than wanting to quit every single day, there were no problems.

The person on the other end paused, then seemed to read from a script:

"His name is Chen Erbao. From Bailong Village, Cyan Mountain Town, Hongyuan City, Jiangnan Province, China. He's a partner of the Medicine King Hall and the founder of the Dream Fantasia mud mask."

????

The operator was dumbfounded. He subconsciously pulled up the previous contract's file, compared the details, and sat bolt upright. A thrill of excitement went through him. "Oh, we know this guy. He's an Ancient Martial Artist. The price is gonna be steep!"

'Fuck! I'm gonna make a killing! I'm rich! From now on, even if my boss shits on my head, I'm waiting until this contract is finished!'
