Chapter 503 - Four Years Later...
"What are you blabbering? Isn't that's why I was sent to be a damn dumpling because they finally lived at the same time to fulfill Father's will?" Letting out an exhale, Churu said in a matter-of-fact tone.
Indeed, Tora's soul had been wandering and she would reside on dead babies inside a woman's womb and grow as that person, then repeat after dying on its host. If Tora was just a lost spirit, she would have turned into an evil creature. But since it was Churu who made her fly, wandering to find its new host, Tora's soul persevered and live into different bodies — different ethnicity, country, and gender.
The only catch was that there's only a span of a period that Tora's soul could wander. After all, Churu's life energy that she passed on to protect it had been weakening after time. Hence, Tora's soul that was inside Lexi was only a small fragment left.
"Do you think I have forgiven you for making me look like a dumpling? Didn't I tell you I want to look like a popstar — a cute idol, not a damn food!" Now that Churu was reminded of what form she looked like back on earth, she fumed as she jolted from her lying position and glared daggers at Yael.
"Mistake often happens." Yale just shrugged her shoulders as she nonchalantly flipped her hair to the side. "Also, although your look was quite peculiar, it's safe to say that you've successfully become an idol." Opening her palm, Yael showed Churu's banner, posters, and even videos of fans fighting their way to buy Churu's merchandise — angel, demon, and all creatures in the heavenly realm and places that reached their jurisdiction.
"Wow," Seeing that she was like a real-life idol, Churu's eyes sparkled. There were photos of her in a different dress that Lexi personally made. It was more or less how Elliot Gong or Rika Song were being treated in the human world.
"I really think I should send my resignation to Lucy and start my own agency." Nodding her head in acknowledgment, Churu pondered hard enough to start a new career. After all, they promised her that she'd die after completing the task or have a new career since the heavenly realm took a huge turn and copied the human's lifestyle — just for the lulz.
"I'm afraid you can't do that."
"Huh?" Immediately, Churu raised her investigative eyes up to Yael's front. Did they go back on their words? That's impossible, as Churu was well-aware of the heaven's rules and even Hell's.
"Apparently, your work on earth is not done yet." Yael once again shrugged her shoulders as she informed her of the situation. "Why did you think you returned to this sacred place instead of waking up next to Lucifer? Because I can't go there. And why would I need to welcome your return, anyway?"
"Oy, cut the chase." As Churu watched Yael blabber with hand gestures while showcasing her pretty face, her heart pounded as she somehow got the gist of what Yael was implying. Still, she didn't want to go over herself and wanted to hear it from Yael's mouth.
"Well, the thing was, while I am trying to fix a bug in the system, I accidentally…" Yael scratched her nape as she paused and gulped. "... I pressed the wrong button."
"What did you just… you pressed a wrong button?" Knitting her brows in disbelief, Churu blinked her eyes numerous times as she processed Yael's words. "You mean…"
"Mistakes happen all the time, right?" Yael awkwardly smiled. "That's why I am here to inform yo—"
"Why did you just tell me now?!"
"What? It's your fault! You literally incapacitate me the moment you saw me! And then asked me to shut up, so I did!" Rolling her eyes, Yael remarked in a matter-of-fact tone. Well, that was true though as she would have sent Churu back to earth to finish the system's task but Churu just did whatever she wanted which delayed her to deliver the news.
"No way…" Under her breath, Churu could only stare at Yael in disbelief. She was already in this place for several minutes. Therefore, she could guess how many years had already passed in Lexi's time.
"Well, since it has been a while since you returned here, there had been an automatic change in the system…" As Churu was processing her words, Yael took advantage of it by explaining the changes and note some important notes.
"Well, did you understand me?" Yael smiled as she looked at the puzzled Churu. When Churu just heedlessly nodded even without understanding the whole thing, Yael exhaled before the corner of her lips curled into a gentle smile. "Alright then, you can't waste any more time here or I'm afraid your beloved human will grow old — chop chop!"
"Hey, Yael —"
"Bye!" Just before Churu could finish whatever she wanted to ask or say, Yael snapped her finger and Churu disappeared in an instant, leaving no trace that she was there in the first place. "Enjoy your time off, dearest Alvah." Still looking from where she was sitting earlier, Yael murmured with a smile before she slowly disappeared as well.

[EARTH: 4 YEARS LATER]
"Ouch! That ange— !" Churu harshly landed on a concrete surface as Yael's way of sending her back here was unreserved, it was more like throwing her back on earth. However, even before she could curse the angel, she halted upon hearing Lexi's voice. Hence, she immediately turned her head to where her voice was coming from.
"Should I repeat myself or will you shut up?" Cold, devoid of tenderness, Lexi glanced at her side as she arched her brows.
"Madam, I am just merely saying my concern. My apologies." Gulping a mouthful of saliva, a man, to be precise, Dennis Lu reasoned before he shut his mouth and obeyed her.
Baffled, Churu scanned around as she realized she landed in the middle of a huge meeting room. However, she doesn't remember anyone inside except Lexi who was sitting at the head seat. "Lex—!" Regardless, Churu didn't try to study her surroundings as she stood in the middle of the long table and waved her small hands, trying to catch Lexi's attention.
However, right before she could call her name out, her words returned to her throat when she heard a man's voice saying, "Lexi, you have to let go of him — Ethan is dead." Louis Lu emotionlessly stared at the unfazed front of Lexi as he reminded her of this fact.
