Chapter 2875 Change of Posture

While Minos and his women were departing from the world of Forfex, one of the two groups chasing them arrived on this planet.

One of the two level 128 Devils appeared in an isolated area of this high-level world, leaving the spatial distortion between Hell and there and immediately scouring the surroundings for clues. The place their group arrived at was random, so they needed to reassess their situation when they got there.

"Uh?" The Devil opened his mouth as his expression changed, suddenly no longer sensing the auras of his targets. "Something's happened. I can't sense them anymore." "Did someone kill them?" One of the underlings in the group asked.

"Or did they run away?"

"They would have had to enter a higher dimension to escape my senses... That brings us to Hell and the Upper Realm." Devil said, not liking how that sounded. "Still, that's not normal. Something else happened besides an escape."

"Master, I sense a very negative magical fluctuation to the north of where we are. Why don't we go there and investigate the situation? Whatever happened here, the enemies passed through before we arrived."

"That's true."

"One of you, go to Hell and try to find out if Minos' group has returned. The rest of us will go after their tracks in this world," said the leader of the group, making the creatures around him move promptly at the end of his orders.

They set off in two directions, leaving the place where they arrived empty less than a minute after their arrival.

Simultaneously, in an area of the vast Hell, a group was about to leave the dimension, heading for the planet of Forfex, when suddenly something changed.

The level 128 Devil, the other individual who had confronted Qhava earlier, changed his expression as he sensed a very particular spiritual fluctuation.

"Master?" One of the weaker members of the group asked, in the dark as to what could have paralyzed their leader.

But not everyone in this Devil's group was ignorant. One of them changed his expression and muttered, "That's the power of Devil Abby's crown! There's another crown too, a stronger one, a condensation of several crowns, next to it."

"Minos and his wives were murdered?" One of the members of this Qhava rival's group asked.

"That seems to be the case... How strange." Devil didn't like it at first, not understanding what could cause the downfall of such a prominent group.

Minos' group certainly wasn't enough to scare him. But this Devil would not fail to recognize the strength and ability to hide and improve that these individuals had. If they were allowed to grow, they would certainly reach high positions either in the Upper Realm or in Hell.

Eliminating them so suddenly wouldn't be easy, which made that powerful level 128 figure not understand what was happening for an instant.

But while he was thinking, one of his subordinates cracked a smile on his devilish face and shouted, "That's great. If they're dead, it means that their territories are now free to be taken over!"

Everyone looked at the woman who said this, as the obsidian-colored eyes of the level 128 Devil suddenly opened in realization of this great opportunity.

"Indeed!" A broad smile broke out on his face as his wounded aura from the battle with Qhava improved immensely.

Despite the danger that Minos and Abby posed, the Hell's high-level Devils' main interest in pursuing them to assassinate them was to get her territories and weaken Qhava through Minos.

But if they had been killed, then for this Devil almost going to Forfex's home planet, that meant he wouldn't need to waste his time outside Hell!

"All right, change of plans!" said the level 128 creature. "Let's split up and head for the territories that Devil Abby left unowned! Time to increase our Hell domains!"

The group vibrated energetically, determined to go ahead with these plans, which were much better than a universal chase. They could all strengthen themselves for the journey ahead changed by the fall of Minos' group!

They didn't delay and as soon as the previous spatial distortion closed, they disappeared, traveling towards Abby's old domains.

Meanwhile, Qhava had risen from her tub of black liquid in the basement of her palace. Like the other, she felt the crowns of Minos, Gloria, and Ruth entering Hell, fused together, alongside Abby's crown. But unlike the other Devil already on the move to take advantage of this opportunity, this wasn't just an opportunity for her.

"Shit! Minos!" She screamed as she ignored her still-recovering wounds, realizing that someone or something had killed Minos.

She wanted him dead, but having the realization that he was dead didn't come in the way she would have liked. To think of the human who had tricked her and given her part of his power dying so suddenly angered her more than it pleased her!

But as she thought about the end of Minos and his family, she couldn't help but feel a subtle weakening at losing those three. Even though she hadn't been in charge of them for all those years, nothing would change the fact that there was a connection between them. The continuous and rapid strengthening of the three helped her and, as she felt the connection with them disappear, Qhava naturally felt a spiritual emptiness in her soul.

This wasn't enough for her to regress from level 128, but it did make her feel vulnerable, just like in the aftermath of the fight against the two level 128 opponents from the battle Minos made her fight months ago.

"Shit! Gather our troops. Minos and Abby are dead. Time to fight for her inheritance!" Qhava shouted, this time ignoring her healer to get on with the start of this journey. Abby's territory was one of the largest not available in Hell until recently. Now that she was without her master, everyone would be fighting to get the biggest slice of it! Instantly, the idea of chasing Minos and the three humans disappeared from Qhava's mind, leaving only power and the Throne of Hell as his goals.

'After I get Abby's domains, it'll be your turn to bow your head to me, Lothur!' Qhava thought as he considered the most powerful creature in Hell today.
