Suddenly, when she looked elsewhere, her eyes caught sight of clear dew on the lotus leaf next to the little red lotus. ”Brother Zheng, what’s wrong with Ye’er?” Just as there was movement in the room, Gu Xiao’s anxious voice sounded outside the door. Gu Ye turned her head and saw her grandfather who pushed the door in, with a thick layer of snow on his body. Apparently, he’s been waiting outside for news.

”Buddha bless, she finally woke up.” Sage Apothecary covered his mouth and took a breath. Afterward, he felt his disciple’s forehead. He was delighted to find that her fever had almost subsided.

Gu Xiao couldn’t care less about brushing the snow off his body. He strode to the edge of the bed in just three steps. In fear that the cold air on his body would exacerbate his granddaughter’s illness, he stretched out his hand and retracted it again, and then asked with concern, “Ye’er, are you feeling any discomfort?”

”My throat is a little dry. I want to drink some water.” Gu Ye saw her grandpa’s bloodshot eyes, unkempt beard and hair, and almost cried.

Sage Apothecary poured out a glass of warm clear water and awkwardly fed his disciple. ”Grandpa, have a good rest, and you will have the energy to talk with me tomorrow.” Her illness caused so many people to worry. This made Gu Ye a little guilty. If she hadn’t been afraid of exposing her space and had gotten her body in shape earlier, there wouldn’t have been so many problems. She secretly vowed that she must exercise properly and condition her physique in the future. She would never let her family worry about her again.

Sage Apothecary glared at him fiercely and said, “Since it’s a good thing, why are you acting so mysteriously? I thought my precious disciple’s condition had worsened!”

”All right, you go to sleep! After studying medicine for so many years, you can’t even tell whether your apprentice’s body is healthy or not. She almost died. You still have the nerve to treat people everywhere. Aren’t you afraid of breaking Master’s signboard?” Medical Sage’s tongue has always been unforgiving when he was in the right, so he rendered Sage Apothecary speechless.

His Senior Brother was right. After spending more than a month with his little disciple, he didn’t even notice the hidden danger in her body, almost causing a catastrophe. Although he hated to admit it, he really has no talent for healing.
