The Primordial Record

Chapter 2185 The Fate of Your Brother

Chapter 2185  The Fate of Your Brother

Kronos, Kairos, Aevum, and Aeon… these were the four layers of Time that Chronomancer Prime had mastered.

However, unlike most Primordials that conquered their Origin Layers to gain mastery over it, Prime had taken a different route as he gave life to all of his Origin Layers, imitating the creation prowess of his father.

This distinction had aided him in defending against the assault of Luminious Silence for a long time because, unlike most Primordials who would have been helpless against the corruptive power of the Luminious, his Origin Layers could actively defend themselves; they could even flee and hide from the gaze of the Luminious.

Even when Luminious Silence threatened to break his mind, Prime was not too worried that he would be dominated because if his Origin Layers saw that he could no longer hold on, they could erase themselves, and this was something that no Primordial could claim to have.

Reaching the fourth layer of Time had been easy for Prime, due to the fact that he was the bloodline Avatar of the Great Eos, and he even made the process to be much harder when he animated his origin layers, but the fifth dimension of time was not so easily breached.

The instant he merged with this orb, everything the Primordials had seen and experienced rushed into his mind, even those they were not aware of.

Prime began to hyperventilate, as cracks began to fill his skin, he would have shattered to pieces in the next few seconds if not for the Incarnations around him suddenly blazing with light as they reached the fifth layer of their Origin, and instead of trying to preserve their life, they poured all of their essence into Prime.

One by one, they all faded away until there was no one left with Prime, but his body was now billions of times stronger than it was before, and this strength was only growing.

It was at this moment that Prime truly understood the power of Eos’s flesh and spirit, which enabled him to perform so many of these miracles without flinching or showing signs of the power needed to hold all of this weight.

His Origin began to grow, and without the fear that his body would be torn to pieces, he could fully focus on what he needed to do, and the more that Prime learned about the future, he soon began to realize that the Future was not the fifth layer of Time; that was just a small part of it.

For any other Primordial, reaching the fifth layer of their Origin would be enough, but Prime had to go a step further to give this layer of Origin a life of its own.

It was not easy, but after doing this four times, Prime knew that the best time for it would be the moment that he began building the layer.

“Prove that you are the son of Eos, and all the Incarnations who gave their priceless life so you could thrive.” Prime muttered to himself as he began walking in a path that not even his omnipotent father had tread upon.

At the first four layers, getting an Origin Layer that had a life of its own was certainly special, but nothing that was earth-shaking; however, all of this was thrown on its head when this power reached the fifth layer.

The foundation that Prime had built was being realized as all of the paths began to converge, to create something truly remarkable.

The first four Layers of Time, wearing either beautiful heavy armor or robes that seemed to extend for eternity, surrounded a pulsing layer of light that was slowly growing while they were chanting.

It was nearly impossible to describe the sheer complexity involved in the creation of the fifth layer, especially with the addition of the fact that he was creating an entirely new lifeform.

That was right, each of his Origin Layers was a new lifeform, and if they wanted, they could create a race after themselves or even evolve. There was even the possibility that each of his layers may be able to cultivate their powers, and Prime may have unlocked a new sort of cultivation with unlimited potential.

A collective cry emerged from his body as his fifth layer was born, and it screamed to life,

“I am Aeternitas, the Absolute Layer of Time. I am Timelessness.”

Knowledge flooded the consciousness of Prime as he knew that with the Absolute Layer of Time, the past, present, and future exist simultaneously as a single perfect motionless whole.

Prime could imagine what he could do with this power, and it was a scary thought.

He could feel his flesh beginning to transform, and now, if there was not someone with the power to strike him with so much force that it could reach the past, present, and future at the same time, then it was impossible to hurt him.

And this was when he did nothing.

Prime was beginning to communicate with all the Layers of his Origin when three panicked consciousnesses swept past him, and he opened his eyes to see the three Primordials that he sent into the future flying towards him with panic in their eyes.

“We need to warn Eos; there are powerful beings, Luminious, that are going to be attacking him.”

Circe, who was leading them, was sent to Prime, and after a while of frantic communication between them, the only way they could settle down was because Prime had repeatedly assured them that the moment they saw the future, it affected it, and now it had changed.

“What do you mean it’s changed?” Victorious Genesis roared.

“It means everything you saw had been subtly tweaked; granted, these changes may not be major, but even the slightest difference would cause a ripple effect that would drastically change the present.”

“I don’t care, we are in the present, so we need to return and fight for our home.” Fury slowly spoke.

“Of course,” Prime nodded, “But I think your talents would be needed elsewhere. Have you ever wondered where your brother Vraegar had gone?”
