Chapter 2130 Completing The Truth
Chapter 2130 Completing The Truth
It took a while for the explosion to vanish, and when it did, it revealed the broken body of Eos lying on the shattered spaces of the dimensions. He had nearly been torn in two, and his vast body was slowly healing, but this would take a while. Eos had just contained an infinite energy exploding with nearly zero leakage, because it would have torn through the body of his Ouroboros and rendered his trap useless.
This had cost him a lot, but he only needed to recover, and the benefit he would gain from fully digesting the memories of Memory, a Luminious, would be so massive that it would change the entire dynamic of Existence.
However, he was not alone, and to his surprise, the first being to attack him was not Nyxara, but Eldrithor, Primordial Chaos.
Like a sneaky assassin, Primordial Chaos did not move through space and time; he unbecame the space between them, so that one moment, the vast body of Eos was resting on healing dimensional fabric that was slowly becoming solid, and the next, there was no dimension, and what was left was only infinite chaos.
Every direction was every direction, every moment was every moment, every possibility existed simultaneously with its opposite, and the contradiction was a physical force, tearing at Eos’s form from every angle at once.
In his present form, Eos should have been able to easily shrug off an attack of this level, but he was broken and needed to recover, and if Primordial Chaos had not attacked this quickly and given him a few more moments to gather himself, then Eos would have been able to predict and avoid this attack.
“You are defined,” Chaos whispered, a note of glee and maybe disbelief in his voice. These last few moments had shaken them all to the core, and if not for the madness inside Eldrithor’s soul that made him attack even when everything inside him was telling him to flee, this moment would not have come to pass. “Definition is limitation, limitation is death. I am the eternal maybe that precedes all certainty. I am the maybe that eats certainty for breakfast. And you, Eos, are my meal! hahahaha…”
Primordial Chaos laughed in glee and began burning his Origin Force, shattering his core, as he increased the power of chaos surrounding the broken body of Eos.
The mask of faces appeared over the void that was Eos’ face, and the mask began screaming in pain, causing massive shockwaves that tore through the body of Chaos and caused his wings to release a vast amount of feathers as they were torn from their roots.
Primordial Chaos felt like a man trying to hold back a tornado, and he began to scream as he poured all of his energy into holding down Eos.
And it was working… There were visible signs that the power of Chaos was unmaking EOs, as the vast wounds in his prismatic body that had been healing were not being torn aside, and even deeper, all of his identities, the memories of all he had been and who he was, were being called into question, dissolving into the infinite, maybe.
Eos could feel himself becoming uncertain, like the kind of thing that might exist and might not, and Existence couldn’t be bothered to decide.
Eldrithor was almost going insane from the strain of holding down Eos, but anytime he saw the body of this magnificent being slowly being pulled apart, he reached for more inside him and pulled.
His madness was so great that the shockwaves of shattering all of his chaotic origin were preventing the rest of the Ancient Primordials from coming near this location. He would be the one to kill Eos, and the greatest winner in this entire conflict would be Eldrithor, Chaos himself.
He could almost imagine himself sitting on the throne of glory, looking above all of Existence, and he would gleefully transform everything into chaos, and his dominion would not be shared by anyone or anything… There would only be one master, and the rest would be slaves.
In the midst of his exaltation, he heard a quiet chuckle from below him. The chuckle was filled with pain, and Primordial Chaos looked down at Eos, and he saw his glowing face filled with a thousand masks staring at him.
“You’re right,” Eos gasped, his voice flickering in and out of existence. “I am defined. I am limited… I am real.”
Chaos rippled with satisfaction. Was this monster acknowledging the fact that he had lost? Was it possible that just by pushing ahead, he was the one who took the prize?
The masks of Eos, looking at Eldrithor, smiled, and he said, “But you made a mistake.”
Eos reached into himself, or rather, into the space where himself used to be, and activated the Will of Truth. The 8th Level of this Will had been completed, billions of years ago, and for so long, there was no way he could push it to the ninth dimensional level. Eos had chosen to take the Ancient Path of Primordials, but he was the first being who pushed for the new path when he gained the Will of Truth, but he had never being able to push this Will to the ninth-dimensional level, and this was one of the primary reasons why Eos had not pushed for the level of Primordial because the Will of Truth was the core of who he was and he had not been able to get this Will to the ninth dimensional level, suggesting that there was a great truth that he was not recognizing.
It was when he saw the nature of Existence and knew of the true face of the dimensions, and the Painter behind it all, and with this knowledge, the last of the shackles began to break open.
However, there was still one last shackles holding him back that he could not recognize until Primordial Chaos went crazy and tried to tear him to pieces, and it was in the harsh condition that Eos recognized the truth that he was, the truth that he existed, and the truth that he mattered, despite all evidence to the contrary.
Chaos was the window into his soul, as maybe met certainty, and from the depths of that chaos, true certainty in the truth about who he was, and in this moment, Eos reached the ninth-dimensional level of the Will of the Truth.
Anyone else would have taken a moment to luxuriate in this impossible achievement, but Eos blasted out his Will of Truth from his core, and he used this power to define Primordial Chaos.
And he did this not with a wave of power, but with his damned fist.
He wrapped his Will around his fist and punched the infinite maybe.
