Chapter 2093 To Create And To Forget
Chapter 2093 To Create And To Forget
The first technique to manipulate the Proto-Dimensions was born, distinct from what the Beast was given by the Temple, after all, that technique was uniquely suited for the Beast to explore the past, and not for anyone else.
What Eos had created was different, but as he observed the makeup of the technique, for him it was ultimately useless because, unlike the Beast of Final Rest, there was no similar Origin like him for him to trace into the past, and any attempt he made was useless and a waste of energy.
This unknown dimension of the past was unexplored territory and was so vast that it could be seen as infinite.
Gaining this first technique was opening the door to this new dimension, and Eos stopped for a while, dispersing the cloud of still-time around him so he could attend to a pressing annoyance.
He may have spent billions of years breaking apart and learning from the technique he stole from the Beast, but five seconds had passed in real time, and originally only one second should have passed, but the sliver of consciousness he had left behind was being contacted by Nyxara, and the weight of her presence was so vast that just contacting his consciousness was enough to distabilise the cloud of still-time that surrounded his main body.
Eos touched the dimension of memory and heard the cold and calm voice of Nyxara, “The plan will be soon, Eos, or our war shall begin early.”
He sneered but did not reply to the message; his silence was the best answer. The Ancient Primordials had just been disgraced on the greatest stage in Existence, and although this did not make them any less dangerous, it gave Eos an advantage.
In the alliance between him and Nyxara, she now appeared to be the weaker party, and so she could no longer call the shots like before. He would respond to her when he wanted to respond and not before.
Of course, he did not need to be playing or these games, considering all the plans he had in hand, but it would be strange if he did not do so, because he would all but be announcing to Nyxara that he was not fully invested in her plans.
For a moment, Eos wondered if he should draw the other Primordials into the mix, but he decided against it, just because it could lead to outcomes he could not yet predict.
Knowing that the consciousness he left behind would tackle any unexpected development from Nyxara, Eos covered himself once more in a veil of still-time and began to work on the techniques of the Proto-Dimension.
In the state he was in, he forgot everything surrounding him, the battles, the deaths, the fear of the unknown, and all the burdens on his shoulders were swept aside, as Eos returned to the moment where he was a wide-eyed mortal who was unveiling the secrets of the universe with the tools he had in hand.
So many things had changed over the years, but many things still remained the same. To gain new knowledge, the only path forward was to bury your head in the work and strive for it.
As the years went by, the techniques that Eos created began to grow. From a hundred to thousands, and then millions. Three Cosmic Eras passed, and Eos had created sixteen billion techniques.
Even for him, the amount of time caused his consciousness to feel great pain, and he emerged from the area of still time to find out that three million years had gone by in real time.
Even still, time had a limit, especially when you consider that Eos’s body was growing stronger every day, and the parameters he set up for being able to remain inside the area covered with still-time were always changing.
In three million years, a lot of changes had happened in his Origin Realms, and Eos familiarized himself with all of them. The first change was that the attacks against the Origin Realms had increased.
The attackers were coming from both the Temple of End, whose meteor showers were now almost constant, and the Ancient Primordials. Now, there were always a dozen Primordials outside the Origin Realms defending it, in addition to hundreds of millions of Old Ones, billions of seventh-dimensional immortals, and countless trillions of lower-dimensional immortals who were using the endless battle as a grinding stone.
With risks came rewards as the cultivation of so many immortals soared, leading to the birth of three thousand new Primordial Candidates who had all retired to the field of Elysium to await their ascension and polish the knowledge of their new Origin.
In these battles, there were numerous Primordial-level beings from the enemy side, and if any of the lower-dimensional immortals were unlucky enough to be killed by them, then it would be impossible for them to be resurrected. Luckily, none of his Primordials had perished in battle, and that was because of the stringent plan of war made by Eva, Primordial of Revelations, although there had been numerous close calls.
Yet the Origin Realms had crossed the threshold of initial development, and every day that passed their were millions of new fourth-dimensional immortal beings born, and they were ascending past their dimensional clusters to see the real world above and fight for their destinies.
Nyxara had communicated with him three more times, and her messages were growing increasingly deranged. Eos’s eyes tightened when he read these messages again and again; it would seem that his hidden designs were beginning to work, and the mental state of Myxara was becoming more
unstable.
Still, he should know when to stop applying pressure and when to change tactics, and so he replied with a single word, “Soon.”
Another surprising message that caught his attention came from the Beast of Final Rest, and it said, “Help me.”
Eos analyzed this message for a while and placed it aside. For now, the Beast was not showing enough sincerity. Let it suffer for a while, and even if it was about to die, Eos would not necessarily raise his hand to help.
The only reason the Beast was still alive was that Eos wanted to fish for benefits, and the Beast was bait. Hoping the Beast could hold on for as long as possible, Eos replied to the messages and queries from some of his Primordials and took care of other hidden affairs of his realm that required his personal
attention.
Just this task took a decade to complete, and when it was done, Eos covered himself in another layer of still-time, and he ventured into his
Proto-Dimension.
He had created so many techniques, and now it was time for him to begin forgetting them.
