The Primordial Record

Chapter 2043 The Archive of All Possibilities

Chapter 2043  The Archive of All Possibilities

The rise of the Primordial of Serene Ascension could be made into a grand epic that would anger almost anyone to death. Like Victorious Ascension, he was born aware and knew everything about the threats facing the Origin Realms, and the baby chuckled and immediately went to work.

He never spent a single moment cultivating, but opportunities literally fell on his lap; some of these opportunities even forced themselves upon him. As a mortal, he wanted to quickly become an immortal just so he could observe the process by which higher-dimensional matter collapses when brought to the theoretical limit, and an opportunity from the heavens to reach the heavens fell into his lap.

He did not use it, only observed it and took away its principles, and in a few short years, he ascended by himself to a fourth-dimensional immortal. It took him less than five thousand years to become an Old One, and twenty-five thousand years to reach Primordial, but this could have happened much more quickly if he wanted, because even the Grand Creator, Eos, had said that the boy already mastered several Origin Forces to the fourth level!

Victorious Genesis was still stuck on the third level of his concept, and it was unknown when he would be able to reach the fourth. He had not forgotten the final words that Eos had said to them after he told them of the history of Existence.

“I do not tell you all of this for you to be fearful of the future, because more than anything, I believe in all of you and the potential that you carry. Know this: what we understand as Primordials is only the tip of the iceberg, and if you want to stand toe to toe with the Ancient Primordials and all our enemies and beat their faces in with your fist, then reach the fifth level of your Origin, and if you want to win the war in this instant, reach the sixth level of your Origin.”

Rowan was the only one known to have reached the fifth level of the Origin of Space, and all Primordials now understood that the end of their path was only the true beginning of power, and a man like the Primordial of Serene Ascension, brought with him such pressure, that no other Primordial could compete with him, not even Telmus and Eva and Circe, the only three Primordial to reach the fourth level of their Origin, and they had stalled, and if not for the example of Rowan, and the very Origin Realms that they lived in, none of them would ever believe that there was a fifth layer to Origin.

Victorious Genesis believed that perhaps a fifth layer did not exist before Rowan came into the picture, as only the presence of this freak among freaks could raise the ceiling to such a great height. Not even that cheeky brat, Serene Ascension, could compare.

What also rubbed Victorious Genesis the wrong way was that, like him, Serene Ascension refused to have a name, and so everyone called him by his Primordial Title, and the reason he gave for not having a name was trite in Victorious Genesis opinion, that brat that still smelled of his mother’s milk says he is just too busy to think of a name for himself.

“Motherfu–” Victorious Genesis wanted to dropkick that brat across Limbo when he heard that excuse.

However, it was still obvious that Serene Ascension was a genius; his plan, the Archives of All Possibilities, was supposed to be one of their ultimate defense systems. It would be an Archive that contained every conceivable outcome of every event that would occur in the upcoming war.

Serene Ascension wanted to create a power that could see the future!

Lower-dimensional immortals, even Old Ones, believed that the Primordials could see the future, but this was not the case. They stood at the ninth dimension, and all of Existence was opened before their eyes. With this advantage, they could predict the outcome of the lives of every sentient being inside a dimensional cluster with frightening accuracy, but they were not truly seeing the future; they were only predicting it and being successful at it because of the massive pool of data they had to draw from

The Archive that Serene Ascension wanted to create was different. He drew heavy inspiration from the Singularity of the Grand Creator, and he believed that the future did not have to be predicted; it could be discovered!

Like the theoretical fifth or sixth layer of Origin, he believed that every dimension they had explored, from space, time, memory, fate, and destiny, had layers to them that had not been explored, and perhaps they were only using their dimensional powers in the least efficient ways possible.

Serene Ascension was determined to find the future, and he knew that if he did, they could always steer themselves into the best option, and this great war would be all but won.

The Archive would be his first attempt, and the Grand Creator was intrigued by this idea. He gave him access to all the resources of the Origin Realms and the hidden Resources of the Origin Lands to pursue his quest to find the limits of the dimension of Time.

Serene Ascension did not know if this attempt would lead to any fruitful discovery, but he hoped that it would be the case. Although he disliked this cheeky Primordial, he would still support him if needed. He quickly approved of the plan for Serene Ascension to go to the next phase of his Archive building process, which would require volunteers, and among the calls for volunteers, there was a space for three Primordials, and two of those spaces had already been taken.

Victorious Genesis looked at that last empty space, a lot of thought passing through his head. He did not know when he would reach the fourth layer of his Origin; perhaps it would happen a million years from now or a billion years, but what he knew was that his progress had stalled, and without fighting in Major Incursions, he was not seeing much growth.

This next series of experiments had a section saying the danger to be faced was unknown, and there was a chance for true death, even for a Primordial, and Victorious Genesis, even without thinking too much about the consequences, registered to be the third and final Primordial for this slot.
