The Illusion Forest, along a vast pond with withered branches floating on the water’s surface.

A white rabbit was hopping step by step, nibbling tender grass, occasionally raising its head and twitching its ears to listen for movements around.

Not far away, a Lynx was hiding in the tall grass bush. Its line of sight locked onto the rabbit eating grass on the other side. When the Lynx gradually approached, just gathering momentum to dart through the grass bush to pounce on its prey, a flash of white light made it stagger and fall flat on its face on the spot.

Boom!

A loud noise accompanied by swirling dirt and dust rang out; a corner on the pond bank not far from the rabbit and the Lynx was smashed into a large crater. The animal pack on the ground and birds in the trees panicked and fled in all directions.

Waiting for the swirling dust and smoke to clear, the animal pack waited endlessly but did not see any movement, emboldened to approach the newly created crater. On the crater surface immediately appeared a green barrier, preventing them from getting close.

Although the animal pack was scared, the energy radiating from the barrier made them feel extremely comfortable. Therefore they invited each other to lie stubbornly there refusing to leave. Carnivores and herbivores rarely did not reject each other, even partitioning zones in an orderly manner.

The bird flock curiously flew and glided in the sky, wanting to see what was inside the barrier. Unfortunately they saw nothing at all.

The dead pond right next to it began to stir. The gray scum floating on the water’s surface was pushed aside; from under the mud, plump white sprouts broke through the dirt emerging, tightly curled, reaching straight up from the water’s surface.

The Lynx that had just missed pouncing on the rabbit curiously crawled near the water’s edge, stretching its paw out to poke once. The sprout thrashed, sending it flying backward. It scrambled up, puffed all its fur then hurriedly ran back to lie next to the rabbit, not daring to make a peep anymore.

In just a moment, the sprouts unfurled into tightly rolled purplish-red tender leaves, then spread flat into lush green lotus leaves. The leaf circle gradually expanded, one wingspan, two wingspans, ten wingspans, running across the pond surface until touching the cliff on the other side.

When the leaves began to reach truly high, the bud sprouts began to emerge. Initially only the size of a fingertip, then gradually swelling, gradually reddening.

The wind swayed gently, the flower petals slowly opened.

Dark red like newly coagulated blood. On each petal rose a seven-colored luster layer, drifting from the stem to the petal tip then dissipating, dissipating then rising again from the stem. An entire dead pond in four days turned into a sparkling flower sea; the sweet and pungent scent radiated so strongly it even flew up the cliff.

The animal pack lying around the crater inhaled deeply; every single one had half-closed eyes, their fur becoming visibly smoother. A few birds swooped down intending to preen the flower petals; having just touched them, they were thrown several meters away; after that, not a single one dared to think about that matter anymore.

Night fell, around the lotus pond again brilliantly lit; if a modern person saw it, he would describe the lotus pond at this moment like a square brilliantly lit with multi-colored neon lights.

The moonlight high above also shied away from shining down to disturb this luxurious splendor.

A night passed; when the first sunlight just shone down on the grass, the peacefulness around the pond was instantly broken. Roaring sounds, ear-piercing howling sounds rang out one after another simultaneously with hurried footsteps.

The magical beasts that had left when the lotus pond decayed had returned.

But the animals lying lazily around the pond bank immediately tucked their legs and fled in all directions. In an instant, along the pond bank, there was no animal figure left. Not long after, each lazy magical beast set foot into the lotus pond territory, warily looking around full of precaution.

They tilted their heads staring intently, completely not understanding why the warm thing in this place had disappeared, the red flower lake also consequently withered; why did it resurrect today?

"Grr grr..."

[Boss quickly look, what is that green thing?]

A low-level magical beast spoke softly to its boss. Its boss was a Saint-stage Martial Master Fire Bear, its whole body fur red like fire. On the opposing side was a Saint-stage Martial Master Lightning Leopard, its whole body jet-black, between its eyebrows even having a lightning-shaped pattern.

These two animals were perfectly matched rivals, each occupying one side of the lake. Today both completely did not have any hostility towards each other, simply because they already had a common unnamed enemy. That was exactly the thing hiding inside that green light streak.

They vaguely sensed an extremely terrifying aura, but mixed with that was an extremely dense life force. These two auras made two Saint-stage Martial Master magical beasts like them both crave and fear.

In the sky there were dark clouds bringing circling lightning, but it only circled in one place and did not truly strike down.

Five days later the dark clouds dispersed, the barrier also vibrated for a while then shattered into pieces. From the deep crater, a streak of green light shot straight up to the sky. Each tree root crawled out of the crater mouth, then quickly gathered together like living flesh and blood.

This scene was a bit horrifying; the two magical beast kings and their underlings fearfully tucked their tails whining. Even though they were so scared they could not stand, they still could not bear to leave.

The tree roots quickly merged together into a large tree trunk, began to sprout leaves then gradually reached high. The thick and strong branches intertwined together into a dome-roofed house heavily imbued with fairy-tale qualities.

When the tree had reached more than a hundred meters high, the leaf canopies began to spread out, casting shade over a large patch of land. From the leaf crevices, bud clusters formed into bunches, slowly blooming into pure white flower clusters, the fragrance overpowering even the red lotus flower’s scent.

The two Saint-stage Martial Master magical beasts under the effect of the fragrance actually directly entered a new advancement cycle. Their subordinates immediately stood surrounding to guard.

"Wow, these two brats have not bad innate talent huh~" Kaelen lazily poked his head out the window looking down. The corners of his lips curved up slightly, his finger flicking lightly. The flower cluster near his hand began to shed petals, quickly bearing two red fruits, shaped like apples but transparent like crystal, on top even lingering a few sparkling water drops.

Kaelen waved his hand once, the two red fruits automatically fell from the stem, flying respectively towards the two magical beasts. The two magical beasts were extremely moved, dipping their heads pressing close to the ground showing gratitude, then they opened their mouths to catch the red fruits.

"Do you intend to subjugate them?" A steady arm wrapped around Kaelen from behind, strands of purple hair drooping in front of his body, making Kaelen unable to help but curiously pick them up to examine.

He turned around, looking at his mate who had just gone through a molting process.

The originally dark green almost black hair now had completely turned purple. The eyes also changed from silver-gray to purple like a purple Sapphire. These beautiful eyes were staring intently at Kaelen, making his soul seem sucked into them.

Kaelen curled his lip, mumbling: "I told you your Soaring Snake clan is truly weird. Every molting time is a color changing time. Next time will it change to red or yellow? Anyway, I just gave birth to two kids having red and yellow colors."

Sane burst out laughing, pinching his nose full of doting: "Did you not hear Ryder say that is the color of Divine Energy? The children were influenced by Divine Energy genetically modifying deciding their appearance, not by genetics."

Having finished speaking he lifted Kaelen up, walking deep into the house: "Baby, do not think you can change the subject. We still have not finished settling our accounts..."

Kaelen panicked, his body immediately liquefying, escaping from Sane’s embrace: "Oh my, just now I saw your communication bracelet light up, probably someone is calling!"

He snatched the frantically blinking bracelet, grinning holding it up for Sane to see. Kaelen’s communication bracelet was broken in the battle; Sane’s luckily remained intact.

Sane narrowed his eyes looking at his mate’s innocently smiling face, snorting coldly once:

"Temporarily spare you, I will settle the account with you later."
