The wounds that Draven’s group had struggled to stop the bleeding were healed in a flash by a bowl of spiritual spring water. Although they were not completely closed, they were eighty percent cured.

Draven looked passionately at the bowl of spring water in Finnick’s hands, begging for a long time before the boy gave Draven a small cup. Finnick pouted his lips:

"Taking water and fruits out of the space consumes a massive amount of spiritual energy every time, which will increase the time Ryder takes to wake up. You must use it sparingly. Once it is gone, there will be no more."

"Mhm, I know. Your fathers cannot eat this fruit yet, let me have it please~"

Finnick wrinkled his nose, completely not wanting to do so at all. However, Papa had already said that wanting to research a substitute would consume a certain amount of original materials, with the quantity depending on the capability of the researcher. He hesitated for a moment before taking two out of the four fruits to hand to Draven.

Draven received the items, immediately smiling until his eyes narrowed into slits. He wrapped them in several layers of animal skin before stuffing the items into his chest. Chloe rubbed her chin to look at Draven, suddenly flashing a thought in her mind. She transmitted this thought to Finnick, prompting Finnick to immediately understand the intention and call Spatial Spirit out separately to a corner.

One person paired with two Spirits whispered to discuss for a long time. Spatial Spirit finally reluctantly took out a beginner potion-making book along with a chipped ceramic cauldron, which was as big as Kaelen’s fish-braising clay pot. Seeing Finnick and Chloe showing disgust towards the cauldron, Spatial Spirit put her hands on her hips to say:

"Do not look down on it just because it looks old like that, since it was fired from White Spiritual Clay mixed with level-six magic stone powder. That uncle of yours is very blessed to be able to use it!"

Finnick and Chloe naturally did not know what White Spiritual Clay was, but level-six magic stone sounded quite cool, therefore the two kids did not show a disparaging attitude towards the cauldron anymore. Finnick held those things to bring to Draven, also not forgetting to whisper to let Draven know their uses.

Draven’s eyes lit up, immediately hugging the potion book along with the cauldron tightly like treasures. He kicked all the team members out of a room, occupying that room as a separate research room, not allowing anyone to enter.

The night gradually passed by. The sun rose behind the mountain peak like an egg yolk, while Sane and Kaelen finally woke up. The first thing they felt was a soft sensation along with a damp breath at the crook of their necks. Kaelen trembled to reach his hand up to touch, gently stroking it once before bursting into sobbing tears.

Sane also did a similar action, his eyes also turning red. Hearing the crying sound of his mate, he tilted his head to look over, seeing Kaelen hugging Ryder while crying like a child. Finnick went to sleep very late last night, being exhausted after a long day of escaping so he slept very soundly. The crying sound of the adults only made the little boy slightly shift his body. He rubbed his head into his Daddy’s neck crook twice before continuing to sleep.

Sane finished patting the little spotted leopard, slowly sitting up to look around once.

Where is Oliver?

Could it be that the boy is with the clan members?

The Crimson Warriors outside heard the sobbing sounds inside, knowing it was the crying of the Priest. Although they were very joyful, they did not enter to disturb their two leaders at this moment.

Aaron only brought breakfast along with medicine in with Evan when the fur on Ryder’s head was wet by Kaelen’s tears.

"Your wounds are sixty percent healed, still needing to take medicine for a few more days."

Sane nodded, taking the cup of warm water from Aaron’s hands to take a sip to soothe his throat before asking:

"Hasn’t Oliver woken up yet?"

The hand of Aaron fetching the porridge paused slightly. He then sighed to say to Sane:

"Oliver has still not been found. Finnick said they were separated right from the beginning."

Kaelen only felt his head buzzing upon hearing this. Ryder in his hands also dropped onto Kaelen’s stomach.

"Kaelen!"

Sane hurriedly lunged forward to catch his collapsing mate. The wounds on his body split open again, starting to bleed. Aaron and Evan looked at the two of them, feeling surges of sympathy rising in their hearts. Thinking about it, it was a good thing that he and Evan did not have a next generation. Otherwise, they truly would not be able to bear it every time something happened to the child.

Sane pressed Kaelen’s philtrum for a while. Kaelen also slowly woke up, his complexion being as pale as a floating corpse. Aaron hurriedly said: "The children are triplets, having a certain telepathy with each other. Finnick said he could feel that Oliver is still alive, just not knowing where Oliver is. We will ask them to continue helping with the search after settling the old debt with those three tribes."

Kaelen could not speak anymore, only able to lean weakly against Sane. Looking at his mate being as desperate as a dying lamp, Sane could only hug Kaelen tightly, gently patting Kaelen to comfort him.

Aaron brought the porridge over again: "I know you have no appetite, but you must eat a little bit regardless. We can only go look for Oliver after your injuries are healed."

Sane received the bowl of porridge, scooping a spoonful to blow it completely cool before bringing it to Kaelen’s mouth. Kaelen opened his mouth to swallow, being as mechanical as a puppet. Finnick also woke up right after Kaelen finished eating. The boy loudly called his two fathers before running over to lick the face of one person and then licking the face of the other person.

The two fathers also did not despise the boy’s stinky mouth, grabbing the head of the little spotted leopard together to cover it with kisses. Kaelen’s mood also got a bit better. Although his complexion was still pale, he was at least no longer dead silent like just now.

The two people leaned against the headboard, listening to Aaron recount the specific situation. Knowing that this place was the Eastern continent, combined with hearing the description of their cultivation system, Kaelen sparked a bit of interest. The eyes of Sane also revealed a curious look, unable to hold back from pressing for details extremely thoroughly.

Aaron sighed: "The body tempering method is indeed effective, however we have no way to condense Martial weapons like theirs. Even when Leon said my strength had advanced to the ranks of an Intermediate Martial Artist, I still could not condense a Martial weapon. I wonder if it is because I already have Divine Energy instead of a Martial weapon."

He looked at Sane and Kaelen after speaking, rubbing his chin to say: "You two should try it after your wounds heal. Comparing the Warrior level with the Martial Artist level, the current levels of you both must also belong to the Saint-stage Martial Artist ranks."

Finishing speaking about the important matters, Aaron looked at Finnick again: "There is still a piece of news that is half good half bad, which I do not know how to tell you. I will just let Finnick tell you then. Evan and I will leave first." The two people quickly left, leaving private space for the couple.

The couple looked down at the little spotted leopard. Finnick licked his lips, starting to arrange his words:

"Brother Edward is dead..."

The two fathers: "(°ロ°)!!!"

"However, he has come back to life again."

Sane and Kaelen clutched their hearts. The heart attack that just surged up was suppressed back down. The two people opened their mouths to pant heavily, cold sweat breaking out to drench their entire bodies. Chloe had always been hiding in a corner soaking herself in the cup of spiritual spring water. She could not hold back from springing up, kicking the little leopard to stick to the wall.

"Shut your mouth if you do not know how to speak!!!"

Chloe stood with her hands on her hips in front of Sane and Kaelen, looking at their pale complexions to say sympathetically: "I do not know how you two could give birth to a son who is so ’good at socializing’."

Kaelen glanced at Sane, prompting Sane to embarrassedly turn his face away. Kaelen turned to ask Chloe again:

"Quickly tell me what the specifics are."

Chloe immediately recounted the details from beginning to end for every single scene, even using body language to describe it. The heart rates of the couple skyrocketed to the peak at one moment before hitting rock bottom at another. Chloe finally concluded with the method that Spatial Spirit had stated, looking at Sane carefully again:

"The Soaring Snake Horns and Soaring Snake Scales are both the things containing the most core strength of the Soaring Snake clan. You cutting them off means sacrificing half of your strength away, are you willing?"

Sane did not bother to think but answered immediately: "I am willing. That is my son, so why would I not be willing!"

Chloe nodded: "Reducing half of your strength is not a big deal for you, but you must at least wait until gathering enough Phoenix Fire Flower along with pure magic stones. Furthermore, regenerating a body for Edward requires finding a place with dense spiritual energy. I currently see that only the Illusion Forest can reach this level of spiritual energy."

Kaelen spoke in a deep voice: "Pure magic stones can be exchanged using wealth, but Phoenix Fire Flower is not something one can have just by wanting it. Even during the prosperous era of magic, that flower species was rarer than dragon horns."

Chloe blinked her eyes: "Do you know that flower?"

"I do." Kaelen nodded: "Phoenix Fire Flower also has another name, called Nirvana Flower. It is said to have mutated due to devouring the blood and fire of a Phoenix during Nirvana. Obtaining this flower is equivalent to obtaining an opportunity to come back to life once again."

Kaelen took out pen and paper out of habit to sketch a drawing of the Phoenix Fire Flower, unfortunately touching empty space. He only remembered at this moment that he did not bring his crossbody bag along when crossing over to this side. Chloe tilted her head to think for a moment, then rummaging through her inherited memories for a temporary image recreation method.

The little girl taught it to Kaelen, causing Kaelen to hurriedly follow along. After experimenting a few times, he closed his eyes to envision the Phoenix Fire Flower in his memories. A pale green light stream appeared in the palm of Kaelen, gradually turning into a red color afterwards. A small light ray trailing tiny light fragments resembling a meteor tail started to rotate in a spiral shape from the bottom up, gradually sketching out a fiery red flower plant.

The flower stem was straight with thorns, possessing symmetrical heart-shaped leaves. The flower part had multiple stacked petal layers, the flower petals having a slightly curved shape in the middle to spread out at the tips, featuring sharp petal points that were not lacking in softness. The flower plant itself looked somewhat like a flame at first glance, emitting a faint red light around its body.

Kaelen opened his eyes, looking satisfiedly at the flower in his hands to say: "Phoenix Fire Flower usually grows in extremely hot places such as inside volcanoes or fire-attribute magic stone mines. It radiates very high heat when the flower blooms, requiring heat-resistant gloves made from the silk of Frost Spiders to harvest it. Frost Spiders live in extreme cold regions, with the Northern Continent also having this species. The characteristic of Frost Spiders is moving houses every time they finish giving birth, therefore wanting to collect their silk is not difficult."

He pursed his lips: "It is just that, there must be a Phoenix Fire Flower for us to pick..."

Chloe sighed: "We must find a way to return to the Southern continent first. I heard that there is a lava abyss existing for tens of millions of years between the two halves of the continent. Your luck has always been not bad, so you can give it a try."

Sane and Kaelen looked at each other, somewhat unable to understand what this Wood Spirit meant by not bad luck.

The couple had been pitiful orphans since birth, their process of meeting each other alongside falling in love being full of obstacles. Getting pregnant led to premature birth, then losing one child after giving birth. They were then teleported to another half of the continent on the way to save their son, almost dying together.

None of their four children could grow up peacefully either: the eldest son Edward died without a corpse leaving only his soul, the second son Ryder was in a coma, the third son Finnick was here but the youngest son Oliver was lost.

In short, where the hell was the good luck???
