Crimson’s earth-shattering marriage law was quickly spread throughout the Golden Lion tribe in just a single afternoon.

The majority of people expressed their disagreement, some even reacted harshly. A portion of these people were beastmen, the rest were Sub-Beasts.

However, many beastmen also remained silent without saying anything, bowing their heads in deep thought for a long time. In a certain domed stone house, a beastman sat wiping his Martial weapon, listening to his mate nagging badmouthing the people of the Crimson tribe.

"Hmph, they are just a bunch of people crawling out from some unknown corner speaking nonsense! A beastman being fought over by Sub-Beasts is exactly an honor, who would not want that!"

The beastman stopped his hands, turning his head looking at his mate. He placed the Martial weapon down on the table, pursing his lips for a moment, only then speaking in a hoarse voice:

"For tomorrow’s match, can you not go up to the Martial arena?"

The Sub-Beast was stunned, his facial expression turned ugly: "Why would I not go up?! I have already accepted his challenge, if I do not step onto the Martial arena, would it not mean I am a coward?!"

The beastman smirked, smiling bitterly: "But I do not want this... Shen, I only want you to be my mate, I do not want anyone else."

The Sub-Beast’s face darkened: "Do you mean I will lose? Are you looking down on me right now?!"

The beastman bowed his head looking at his Martial weapon, his heart felt bitter. He gently waved his hand, the blue scimitar Martial weapon on the table immediately disappeared. The beastman slowly stood up, speaking in a soft voice:

"They are not wrong at all, Shen. I am merely a spoil of war between you and that person. Whether I want it or not, no one actually cares. The only thing you guys care about is your own face."

After speaking he turned his head leaving, leaving the Sub-Beast sitting alone inside the house. The Sub-Beast blanked out for a moment, after that he ran out the door calling out after the beastman: "You stop right there! What do you mean?! What do you mean I only care about face? You come back explaining it clearly to me!"

Of course, the Sub-Beast could not wait for the beastman to turn his head, he could only watch helplessly as the beastman’s lonely back went further away. The Sub-Beast angrily stomped his foot heavily, standing at the door cursing for a long time. He thought he had pampered the beastman too much, leading to the beastman daring to act arrogantly criticizing Shen.

There were many people like that beastman in the Golden Lion tribe, they also asked themselves, being treated as a spoil of war being kicked back forth, did they truly feel honored?

The truth was... not at all. Only those without self-respect would take being kicked back forth like that as an honor. They did not think about it, they did not speak up before because no one had ever asked them that question. Now someone had lit the fuse, the bomb that was themselves finally exploded.

Whether it exploded quickly or slowly still depended on whether the fuse was short or long.

The atmosphere in the Golden Lion tribe today changed in a strange way just because of a few casual words from a few guests, the young Priest narrowed his eyes looking at Leon:

"These people cannot be kept around, who knows what other earth-shattering things they will say next. Once they finish nursing their wounds, we will just invite them to leave."

Leon wiped the beads of sweat on his forehead, his heart was also in a complete mess. He only accidentally let slip a bit of curiosity, who would have expected they would say things beyond imagination like that. Now it was just great, after just one afternoon the ideology of the beastmen in the tribe had already begun to waver.

He rubbed his hands together, saying: "They also know they caused trouble, so except for the times they show their faces receiving food they completely do not step foot out of the house. However their tribe is truly closed off, to the point they do not even know about the current Martial Artist ranks and Martial weapons."

The young Priest leaned forward, rubbing his chin in thought. He spoke:

"According to what you said, they fought the magical beasts of the entire Ashen valley, out of one hundred six people who are all Beginner-stage Martial Artists only seventeen people died. Meanwhile the magical beasts in the valley were almost completely wiped out by them, the remaining numbers were so scared they moved away."

"Are you certain they are Beginner-stage Martial Artists?"

Upon hearing these words, Leon nodded his head heavily: "I am certain! You can doubt my character, you absolutely cannot doubt my ability to judge people. Even though I have not seen them fight directly, I can confirm the aura on their bodies belongs exactly to Beginner-stage Martial Artists!"

Regarding this point the young Priest naturally did not have any doubts. Leon was a Saint-stage Martial Artist, it was impossible for him misjudging the martial power of people at a lower level than himself. In this case it could only be guessed, the Crimson group possessed professional coordinated combat skills, or they had used some forbidden drugs suppressing their own Martial power.

The young Priest was still wanting to find a way testing the true strength of this group of people, he did not expect a good opportunity would deliver itself to the door. The Sub-Beast named Shen had just argued with his mate today, Shen’s beastman had run into the Illusion Forest returning with a body covered in injuries, just to fetch him a purple flower branch humbly begging Shen not to step onto the Martial arena tomorrow.

This Sub-Beast assumed his beastman was corrupted by the Crimson group, running over kicking open the door of the guest house cursing loudly. Originally the Crimson group still held back their patience, they did not expect this Sub-Beast would hurl insults at the beastman couple in the team, they did not bother to tolerate it anymore. A hot-tempered Sub-Beast directly threw his spear aside, rushing up pinning that Sub-Beast named Shen down to beat him.

The two people quickly rushed into a flurry of punches kicks, there were no Martial weapons, no regular weapons, no Divine Energy, they simply used their bare fists to greet each other.

By the time the young Priest and Leon arrived at the scene, that Sub-Beast named Shen had already been beaten to the point of inhaling less exhaling more. Two Crimson beastmen were currently clamping down on their team’s Sub-Beast dragging him away, preventing him from getting too agitated beating Shen to death. Since the Crimson tribe’s Sub-Beast could not hit the person anymore he started cursing, dragging out all kinds of cultured vulgar insults.

Shen’s beastman dragged his injuries over, kneeling heartbreakingly beside his mate, his eyes were red not knowing what to do.

Both the young Priest and Leon were shocked. Shen was an Intermediate-stage Martial Artist, within their Golden Lion tribe he was like a crab walking sideways arrogantly, yet today Shen was beaten to the brink of death by a Beginner-stage Martial Artist Sub-Beast who had not even condensed a Martial weapon. The young Priest’s eyes suddenly flashed, his body was as light as a flying bird, in a flash he appeared in front of the Crimson tribe’s Sub-Beast, his hand curled into a sharp claw intending to grab the other person.

The two beastmen clamping both sides of their team member were not weaklings either, they lightly stomped their feet, dragging their team’s Sub-Beast jumping backward, standing on the dome more than a dozen meters away. Another Sub-Beast in the team immediately shifted his body, using his leg kicking the young Priest flying. Leon hurriedly accelerated running over, using his body catching the Priest.

The two people’s back and chest collided, simultaneously they were pushed backward for a few more meters.

After stabilizing their bodies, the two looked at each other, a single word appeared in their eyes: Strong!

Aaron stepped to the front, speaking in a cold voice: "We lacked knowledge, accidentally saying things we should not have said is our fault, you guys do not need opening your mouths insulting us like that.

We acknowledge your grace taking us in, since you do not welcome us we ask for permission leaving first. Right now we do not have anything valuable on our bodies, this favor can only be owed, in the future it will be repaid without missing a single cent!"

He just finished speaking, everyone simultaneously picked up their weapons, carrying the ashes of their teammates on their backs preparing to leave. Before that, Draven stepped forward checking the injury condition for that Sub-Beast named Shen, discovering that although his team member had beaten Shen looking miserable, all the vital spots were avoided, there was nothing life-threatening.

He took advantage of the checking opportunity secretly using Divine Energy to heal the internal injuries for the Sub-Beast, after that he took out two jars of ointment from his medicine chest, handing them to that beastman.

"The jar with the red flower lid is ointment for bruises, this jar with the blue flower lid is to apply on open wounds."

The reason the medicine chest came along to this place was completely due to Draven’s professional habits. When Sane cried out saving Ryder, Draven had grabbed the medicine chest out of natural reflex, when he was sucked into the vortex he also did not forget holding onto it.

Inside the chest there were naturally also medicines stored in wooden boxes, Draven took out two precious porcelain jars, which naturally had his own specific purpose. He clearly knew Aaron definitely did not truly want leaving without fully grasping the situation of the Eastern Continent, otherwise Aaron would not have made a hand sign behind his back for the team members to see earlier.

A team member cooperated very well with him, his face looked heartbroken staring at the two medicine jars, stretching out his hand wanting to snatch them back. Draven was quick to hold onto that hand, shouting softly. Only then did this team member unwillingly give up.

Seeing all the gazes of the Golden Lion tribe’s clansmen glued to the two porcelain medicine jars, Draven felt much more at ease. He pulled out the wooden hairpin box inside the chest again, opening it revealing an ivory hairpin decorated with amethyst stone tassels, taking the hairpin placing it into the beastman’s hand:

"Consider this as me compensating your mate on behalf of my team member."

Everyone’s gazes shifted from those two extremely exquisite-looking medicine jars to the hairpin that seemed to hold significant value at first glance, simultaneously they gasped.

Draven acted as if he did not care about the Golden Lion people’s gazes which had turned into shock, slowly standing up brushing off the non-existent dust on his clothes, speaking to Aaron:

"Let us go."
