In the end, Qiu Nuoya had no choice.

Viktor bought him a leather chest armor that was even better than the one Warren had given him, a robe that fit him perfectly and a short dagger made for children.

"And take this as well. I am sure it will be useful to you."

The item Viktor handed over was a small leather shoulder bag that could be worn diagonally across the body.

The leather was soft and worn from use, suggesting it had been carried for a long time.

However, it was still sturdy and looked perfectly usable.

"That bag..." Igor stared at it. "Isn’t that..."

"What about it?" Viktor tilted his head. "It is not something I have any need to keep multiple copies of, so there is no problem giving it away."

"Yeah, but if you sold that thing, it would probably be worth a lot of money, wouldn’t it?"

"I do not see why you should comment on my personal belongings. What I do with them, and who I give them to, is entirely my decision."

"Hm?" Qiu Nuoya tilted his head.

What was going on?

Was this bag really that valuable?

To him, it looked like an ordinary leather bag.

Was it some kind of famous brand item or something?

After the meaningful exchange between Viktor and Igor, Igor eventually let out a sigh as if he had given up. "Open it and look inside."

Following Igor’s instructions, Qiu Nuoya opened the flap of the bag, which had been secured shut with a belt.

The moment he looked inside, he realized something was strange.

The interior was somehow connected to another dimension.

At first glance, he could not even see the bottom.

When he reached his hand inside, his fingers did not touch the inner lining.

It was so spacious that it felt like he could lose something inside if he placed it there. Yet, whenever he wanted something, the item he was looking for would appear right in his hand.

It was unbelievably convenient.

"Um... What exactly is this?"

"That thing? It’s a magic bag from a dungeon. The inside has a much larger capacity than its appearance suggests, so you can store all kinds of things in it. They are not very common, so don’t announce that you have one too loudly. Otherwise, people might try to target you."

A magic item!?

So this was one of those legendary magical tools?

This was definitely an expensive item!

"Is it really okay for me to accept something this amazing!?"

"I have several of them, so it’s not a problem. Adventurers always have to carry a lot of supplies and having one of these is extremely useful."

As expected of a Rank A Adventurer.

How many incredible items did he actually own?

And on top of that, he was casually giving one to him.

Viktor really was incredibly generous.

"Thank you so much! I’ll take good care of it!"

Qiu Nuoya then placed all the items he had bought that day into the bag.

As expected from a magic item, no matter how much he put inside, it did not become heavier.

It was truly convenient.

Qiu Nuoya found himself enjoying it so much that he wanted to keep putting more and more things inside. But more importantly, with this, he could finally collect herbs without having to give up because he had too much to carry.

That’s great!

After finishing their shopping, the next place they headed to was the Adventurers’ Guild.

They needed to report what had happened the previous day.

At the guild, they met up with Warren.

Warren was still depressed after what had happened yesterday.

For some reason, he was also acting strangely nervous around Qiu Nuoya.

He looked at him as though he was handling something fragile and precious.

"Are you still worrying about what happened yesterday, Warren? I’m really okay now."

"A-Ah, yeah..."

"Warren, you actually look more exhausted than I do. Are you okay? Did you sleep properly? Did you eat breakfast?"

Qiu Nuoya looked genuinely concerned.

When Qiu Nuoya looked up at Warren’s face, Warren suddenly turned his gaze away.

Was it his imagination, or did Warren’s face look slightly red?

Had something happened?

Ah!

Could it be that Warren’s parents had scolded him!?

If that was the case, Qiu Nuoya felt bad about it.

As Qiu Nuoya looked at him with concern, Warren awkwardly said, "I’m fine."

But Qiu Nuoya still could not help worrying.

Even so, they pulled themselves together and reported the extermination mission they had accepted the previous day.

Apparently, the Adventurers’ Guild had already noticed that goblin numbers in the surrounding area had been increasing.

However, they had not been aware that orcs were also present.

Since Orcs were not monsters that Rank G Adventurers were supposed to take extermination missions against, the guild employee apologized, saying that their investigation had not been thorough enough.

"Well, things like this happen all the time when you’re an adventurer. It’s not really right for the guild to apologize for it. Adventures always come with danger. Everyone needs to understand that."

Qiu Nuoya agreed with what Igor said.

He had already accepted that danger was simply part of being an adventurer, so he had no intention of blaming the guild.

However, Viktor was the only one who refused to let it go.

"You really need to be more careful!"

He continued complaining with a displeased expression.

Regarding the goblin extermination mission they had accepted, they were normally required to submit one of the goblin’s ears as proof of completion.

However, because of the unexpected circumstances that had occurred yesterday, the guild decided to count the mission as completed without requiring the proof.

Qiu Nuoya was relieved.

If they had failed the mission and were forced to pay a penalty on top of everything else, he would have seriously wondered if being an adventurer was worth it.

"Still, it is strange that an Orc of that size appeared this close to the city." Viktor frowned. "Where exactly did it come from...?"
