Chapter 190: Demon King’s Sword?

After translating Long’s words, Qiu Nuoya watched as Viktor fell into thought once again.

"After all, there is only so much we can say without knowing where that sword came from. He said it was forced upon him during the Hero Summoning, but if I remember correctly, it was the royal family that performed the summoning ritual. If that is the case, then perhaps it was some kind of treasured sword or magical sword that had been kept in the royal family’s collection."

"That’s true. We really can’t say much without knowing more details... If only we knew where the sword came from and what exactly it was..."

After finishing their discussion, everyone settled down to sleep together in the back of the wagon. With one more person than usual, it was a little more cramped, but they could still manage to get some sleep.

Igor had carried Xiao Tao over while they were settling down, but Xiao Tao never woke up once. He really must have been exhausted.

As usual, Viktor set up a barrier around the campsite, with the Slime Barrier surrounding it as a second layer of protection. Long returned to his usual sleeping place for the night as well. Apparently, he found sleeping in his demi-human form too cramped and uncomfortable.

For some reason, though, he had no problem taking naps in the wagon during the day.
