Qiu Nuoya continued searching the room, looking for another teleportation circle that might lead him outside.

However, no matter how carefully he looked, he could not find one at a glance.

Could the person who lived in this room have been imprisoned here?

If that was the case, it would explain why there was a mechanism that allowed someone to enter the room but none that allowed them to leave.

However, that would also mean Qiu Nuoya could not get outside either.

That would be a problem. A very big problem!

There were many books piled up inside the room, but it did not look particularly messy. There was hardly any dust, and the room even gave off the impression that someone had been living there until very recently.

Looking at the room, Qiu Nuoya felt that imprisonment was probably not quite the right explanation.

If anything, it seemed more likely that the owner of this room had deliberately chosen to shut themselves away from the outside world.

Qiu Nuoya casually glanced through the titles of the books and soon realized that most of them were related to magic.

Whoever had secluded themselves in this room was probably a magician.

Then Qiu Nuoya noticed a single sheet of paper lying on the desk.

There was a message written on it, addressed to someone.

"To you who have reached this room."

That was how the message began.

"To you who have reached this room.

Nice to meet you. I am the owner of this room. This may be rather sudden, but I am giving this room to you. Please feel free to use it as you wish."

"Huh?"

The opening was so sudden that Qiu Nuoya could not help letting out a rather foolish sound.

He did not really understand what was happening, but somehow, he had just been given this entire room.

"You may be confused about what is happening so suddenly, but please rest assured. Everything is proceeding exactly as it was meant to, and your arrival here was inevitable."

Inevitable? What is that supposed to mean!?

The letter from the person claiming to be the owner of the room was written as though they already knew everything. The way they spoke, as if they had known in advance that Qiu Nuoya would eventually arrive here, made him feel extremely uneasy.

"By the way, this is your own secret room. No one else can enter it. You are free to take anything from this room with you. Everything here belongs to you, so I hope you will make good use of it."

My own secret room... No one else can enter? What does that mean?

It was almost as though the owner had known that Qiu Nuoya would discover this room and had prepared it specifically for him.

That’s seriously creepy!

Wait.

Qiu Nuoya suddenly paused.

Someone who could arrange everything so perfectly, as though they knew exactly what was going to happen, was extremely limited among the people he knew.

"Could this be... the Creator God?"

Qiu Nuoya had only met the Creator God once, when he first came to this world, and there had been almost no contact since then. The only exception was when Lady Sherria had once said that she had come to retrieve him because of a divine revelation. Other than that, the god had practically left him completely alone.

Still, Qiu Nuoya could not think of anyone else capable of doing something like this.

But why prepare a room for him now?

The Creator God had originally thrown him into this world with nothing but the clothes on his back and not a single coin to his name. Giving him a room now left Qiu Nuoya wondering what he was even supposed to do with it.

Well, if it’s being given to him, he might as well accept it.

"You will likely have many choices to make from now on. There may be times when you struggle with your decisions, but if you continue forward according to what you believe is right, your future will surely open up before you. So please do not lose heart. Keep looking ahead and move forward."

Is this a prophecy? Is it hinting that something is going to happen in the future?

Qiu Nuoya only wanted to live a peaceful, carefree life, yet apparently things were not going to be that easy.

Creator God, are you enjoying this!?

If that was the case, then the god was being incredibly mean!

When the Creator God had guided Qiu Nuoya into this world, all he had been told was that he had been chosen.

Could it be that the god actually wanted Qiu Nuoya to accomplish something in this world?

"If you study the books in this room thoroughly, you should eventually be able to learn how to draw the teleportation magic circle that connects to this place. Do your best. You can do it."

Are you telling him to read all the books in here!?

There were quite a lot of them!

But if Qiu Nuoya could not learn how to draw that magic circle, he would have to enter the dungeon every single time he wanted to come here.

All right. He understood.

"I’ll study properly. I’ll do my best! It’s not like I dislike this kind of thing, anyway!"

"Finally, the teleportation magic circle for returning has been placed underneath the bed."

No wonder he couldn’t find it no matter how much he searched!

Without this letter, there was a very real chance Qiu Nuoya never would have found it. That had been a close call. Surely, the owner of this room had anticipated that and left the letter behind specifically to make sure he would know. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

Now that Qiu Nuoya knew how to return, he began storing the many books scattered around the room inside his magic bag.

After all, if he left them here, he would not be able to study them. And if he could not study them, he would never learn how to draw the teleportation magic circle.
