Chapter 280: Liu Hong Is Captured

"Morning, Mr. Zhao. Have you eaten yet?"

"Hi, Uncle Zhao."

Yun Jiao had come along too. Her dad lifted her off the motorcycle, and she waved her little hand to greet Police Li.

The expression on Zhao Jian Country’s stern, square-jawed face softened when he saw Yun Jiao.

"Well, well, well, Jiaojiao is here too."

Yun Jiao nodded and trotted over on her short little legs to greet him properly, as if she were a little adult.

"Yup, I came with my dad and my little uncle. Uncle Zhao, did that bad thief confess all the bad things he did?"

The little girl was purely there for the gossip.

Zhao Jian Country raised an eyebrow slightly. "He actually did confess a few things."

A look of delight immediately appeared on Yun Linhe’s face.

"We need to pay a visit to that Liu Hong. The man’s name is Liu Wa. He’s committed quite a few crimes in the past—theft, robbery, and he was even involved in smuggling goods. "Can we go with you officers?"

"But we’ll be on bicycles."

Motorcycles were a luxury the station couldn’t afford to provide for every officer.

Yun Linhe scratched his head. "Why don’t you guys go ahead? We won’t take the motorcycle either. I have to go back and tell my wife first. We’ll take the public bus."

After they made their plan, Yun Jiao raised her hands. "I want to go! I want to go too!"

Yun Linhe picked her up and playfully tapped her on the nose.

They rode the motorcycle to say a quick hello to Yun Jiao’s master, dropped off some seafood, and then left.

So they decided to go to Father and Mrs. Wang’s house first.

Mrs. Wang was panting with effort as she chopped pig feed, so she was puzzled to see such a large group of people show up.

"What brings you all here?"
