The Mysterious Black Magician

Inside the headmaster's office, Laura handed a brown envelope to Yman.

He stared at the envelope for a second before asking "what is this?"

"Open it."

The headmaster urged him.

He nodded and checked the inside. Inside it was data with the name Crimson Agila. And not just that, there was also an ID card inside.

"False documents?" He whispered. They glanced at the headmaster. He noticed she smiled slightly then nodded her head.

No need to ask further for what it was. He could already guess upon seeing all the things inside.

But,

"Uhm, headmaster, why the surname is Agila? Wasn't it's your surname?" Yman asked while scratching his face and wearing a soundless laugh on his mouth.

"Hm, you will act as my adopted son."

The headmaster went directly into the main point.

Yman gaped for a second before a yelp escaped from his mouth, "eh!"

"Wha--!" Not only him, but even Rea was also a little bit shock at Laura's announcement.

"You can't possibly enter that Academy if you are a mere gold rank adventurer only," Laura explained.

Now that the headmaster said it, Yman and Rea finally understood why it was needed.

Since he would be going to the most prestigious Magic Academy in the Empire.

And the Agila was probably wasn't an ordinary clan in the empire.

Yman gasped in admiration at the expensive device in his hand.

<Wow!> even Sistela exclaimed at the sight of it.

"Headmaster, is it a gift for me?" He asked.

But Yman knitted his brows when he noticed the headmaster grinned at him.

"The guild will take 20% from your payment in every mission you completed," said Laura.

Yman and Sistela were speechless.

He glanced at the headmaster with a pitiful face. This thing will cost him his fortune! It was so expensive!

He wanted to cry! Yman's eyes turned white.

Laura giggled. "Fufu, Merea was the one who chose it for you."

"What?" He didn't expect it.

"Hmph, why you sounded like you are disappointed by it? I'm just concerned that you will choose to buy those old versions or second-hand ones that won't last long. Uhm, Ahem! There were also some files inside the envelope. It must be the needed documents for him to attend the academy.

Rea also handed him the uniform of the Academy. It was a white long sleeve, toppled with gray coat embroidered with green. And paired with green pants.

Yman, Sistela, and Rea left the guildhall at exactly 7:30 AM; they directly headed to the Encantasia Magic Academy.

Many students riding their glorious mounts arrived at the gate. They were the expensive mounts that only rich families could buy.

Some were even had decorated their mounts with accessories just to make it more elegant. Befitting for the people would be riding it.

The other mounts were dragging beautiful carriages. Everyone had different gimmicks just to show their family and clan's uniqueness.

But even with their elegance, none of the people around would bother taking a second look as most of the students attending this academy were from a rich and famous family or clan, together with the royals from different kingdoms.

Just then every student glanced above when the sun was blocked by a figure of a flying beast.

Above, they saw, "The Draconis Queen!" Someone exclaimed after seeing the huge figure of the beast. It was a dragon type mount. It's not a simple mount as it also fired a beam from its mouth. And could even breathe flame.

It has hard scales that gleamed in silver luster. And its claws were long and razor-sharp. Riding on it were two individuals, "the Princess Liya and her valkyrie!" A shout from someone below had reverberated into everyone's ears amidst the noisy waving of its wings.

The one in the front was wearing a silver full plated armor from head to toe. While the girl at the back was having long snow-white hair and was wearing a crystal-like body fit armor.

The Draconis Queen landed on the ground with its four limbs. It looks elegant and powerful just by seeing it.

Everyone immediately gathered around. After all, it was the princess of the whole empire that riding it. Together with the person with the title of Valkyrie. One of the strongest experts in the Encantasia Magic Academy.

When the two landed their feet on the ground, they wave their hands. Simultaneously, the full-body armors that each of them were wearing glowed brightly and disappeared a second after.

In exchange for the armor, both of them were wearing their academy uniforms just like the others.

It was a white dress topped with a green and white coat. And paired with a checkered gray and green skirt.

On the left chest of the coat, the insignia of the Encantasia empire was hanging.

Everyone broke into whispers. Saying how beautiful and elegant the princess was. And that the Valkyrie was so cool.

The Draconis Queen mount also disappeared after its whole body turned into silver brilliance. It went back into the ring Artefact.

Just then, a group of students came forward towards the two.

"Goodmorning, Vice President Liya, Lady Sally!" A beautiful girl with long blonde hair came to greet them.

Inside the academy, no need to honor their status as princesses.

"President Hannah, good morning too!" The one who greeted them was no other than the Council President of the academy. Together with the other members.

"Good morning, President." Greeted the person next to Princess Liya. She has medium length of ash-gray hair. And a stoic-looking face. Even her voice was measured and firm.

Hannah smiled.

"Where are the others, President Hannah?" Princess Liya asked.

"Already inside."

"I see."

"How about my cousin?"

"She's coming together with the new student," Hannah replied.

"A new student? Do you mean a transferred?" Princess Liya repeated.

"Perhaps."

"Hmm, let's talk while walking."

After saying it, Liya and Hannah together with the others started walking towards the gate.

"Mhm!"

"By the way, why she's together with the new student?"

"Ah, she told me that the new student is a relative from her father's side."

"Hmm, a relative, huh. I see. Oh, by the way, did she mention the potions?"

When Princess Liya and President Hannah went inside the gate, everyone followed after them.

A few minutes after Liya and Hannah entered the academy, a gigantic flying mount landed in front of the gate.

"It's Lady Ella!" Everyone present around had exclaimed after seeing her.

'I see, this mad lass artist who takes advantage of my desolate wallet is still popular even in the academy!'

He thought.

"Hey!"

For some reason, she shouted at him.

"Did you just thought bad of me?"

He wondered if this girl awakened her 7th sense.

Sistela asked while question marks appeared on top of her head.

'Shuttap!' Yman exclaimed. He was still not in good mood.

"He's wearing our academy uniform."

"A new student?"

"Probably!"

"Didn't you notice he came together with Lady Ella?"

"You are right."

The people around them started asking the people beside them.

Yman noticed that everyone was staring at them. Not only that, all of them were exuding an aura of rich people.

He on the other hand, well, could blend. Thanks to his disguise though.

"Let's go!" Urged Rea.

"Yes, maam!"

Rea glanced at him.

He looked away. Then a bead of sweat appeared on his head when he noticed her slowly approaching him.

Yman was startled when she reached out on his collar.

But contrary to his expectation, "be careful not to crease your uniform."

She said.

For some reason, he felt like, she was acting like a caring girlfriend.

The other people around started to question if this new guy was Lady Ella's boyfriend.

Rea immediately back stepped when she noticed she did something she shouldn't have.
