Chapter 487 - Arrangements
Chapter 487: Arrangements
This was Ms Petty’s fixed learning schedule. No matter if she was having a conversation with Ye Jian or not, she still needed to study English.
Because at this place, if they didn’t grasp the English language, then they would be judged as an uneducated person and would be looked down upon.
“It’s time for my lessons again. I kinda don’t want to see my English Teacher now.” Petty stood up and winked naughtily at Ye Jian. Although she just said that she didn’t want to go, but she did not slow down her actions.
The two bodyguards who were protecting Ms Petty by her side 24/7
followed after her. While they turned around, the white robe fluttered with their movements, and Ye Jian managed to see the outline of a gun on their bodies. Even carrying guns had become a habit here.
Ye Jian, as usual, escorted Petty to a small room in the Presidential palace that was used for homeschooling. Because the homeschool teacher wasn’t a staff member that belonged to the government, she wasn’t allowed to enter the inner areas of the Presidential Palace casually. That’s why they had allocated a room that was far from the Presidential Palace but was one that was still considered within the Presidential Palace. It’s just that the patrols around there were quite lax.
It was somewhat similar to the outside of the Forbidden Palace that was now considered the resting room for the National Flaggers Squad.
After watching the two bodyguards accompanying Petty into the classroom, Ye Jian turned around and followed after a staff member that the Pakistan Government had arranged to leave.
Before she managed to take more down a few steps, Petty, who was wearing a jade-coloured veil, ran out with light footsteps. “Jian, my English teacher, was wondering if you would like to partake in her lesson.” Like a butterfly, she joyfully stopped beside Ye Jian. “Can you accompany me?”
A sorrowful girl who also thirsts for nature. The expression in her gaze made Ye Jian unable to refuse.
But she did not agree to it immediately. Instead, she asked the Pakistani staff beside her. Five minutes later, they received a reply from the President, absolutely no problem at all.
The small room wasn’t small at all. One part of it was a classroom while the other part was a lounge. Ye Jian followed after Petty into the room. The first thing she saw was a picture of the current President that was hung on the center of the wall and the flag of Pakistan.
The moment she entered, Ye Jian’s footsteps became slightly hurried. A hint of unease surfaced in her heart. While Petty, who had come one step ahead of her, ran towards the half-closed classroom with cheerful steps. “Ms. Pabell, let’s start the class.”
Typically, women in Pakistan weren’t required to go to work. Because Ms. Pabell had studied abroad, adding to the fact that her family had died during the war, she had become an independent woman who survives with her own hands.
From the conversations with Petty, that was all of the things she knew about this teacher.
“Then, we shall start, Ms. Petty.” A calm voice that was rich with a woman’s tenderness came from inside the room. Ye Jian then spotted a figure who wore a black shalwar kameez and a black veil walking in the classroom.
Ye Jian’s heart suddenly tensed up at that moment, and it was at that precise moment, her acute instinctual reaction made Ye Jian retreat backwards with haste. The half-closed door was immediately shut tight in an instant. It was the two white-robed bodyguards who stood on both sides of the door that closed it!
With alarm bells ringing in her heart, Ye Jian suddenly raised her head. She glanced at the two white-robed bodyguards with a sharp glare. What she saw were… entirely different faces!
Sh*t!!
“Please invite our guests in.” Pabell’s voice came from inside the room again. At the same time, someone fully opened the half-closed door. Ye Jian then noticed that both of Petty’s arms were tied to her back, her mouth gagged up, she could see those sorrowful yet beautiful eyes of hers were filled with tears of despair.
They were the terrorists of Al-Qaeda. They… hid underneath Pabell’s car and entered the Presidential Palace. An area that had lax patrols.
