Chapter 4603: A Condensating Solution

He shook his head, putting aside his wandering thoughts and returning to the matter at hand.

"Assuming that any severed body part stays if it is severed before I activate my Verse, then I have potentially obtained a way to preserve the altered laws of my Martial Body for all future vessels."

He pictured himself severing an arm that could be used to create new vessels with the same altered laws. However, he wasn’t entirely sure if that would work. It was one thing for the severed body part to retain the altered laws. Would it be able to create a brand-new cloned body from those parts?

"Probably not."

His intuition told him that while the laws would remain even if his body shed cells and grew new ones, as was the natural process of life, it would not be able to ’pass on’ those laws to a net addition of matter and energy adhering to new laws. If he regrew a body from that severed arm, then only the arm would contain the severed laws while the rest of the body would have normal laws of physics.

That was a problem. He was hoping for an easy fix, but those hopes had been dashed.

"Think..." he closed his eyes. ’The metaphysical stamina that Legislation consumes is based on two things. The first was the degree of divergence from existing laws. If I just slightly alter the constants of reality, then that would not consume that much metaphysical stamina. And the second variable is the quantity of information being affected.’

The more information that was present in the target information of the Legislation, the more burdensome it would be.

"Wait, the burden rises with information, not with matter and energy." Rui realized. "So what if I found something or some form of matter that had very little information but a lot of matter and energy?"

In that case, he would be able to Legislate the laws of a large amount of matter with a very small metaphysical consumption of stamina, relatively speaking. He would likely be able to obtain enough matter to be able to easily create a large number of law-diverging Martial Body reserves.

The question was where he was going to find matter with a large amount of matter but correspondingly small amount of information.

"It can’t be regular matter," he muttered. "It would have to be a form of matter with truly minimalistic information density. Something that is almost formless—!"

He paused as an idea flashed through his mind. One that satisfied every condition he needed from this new material.

"Einstein-Bose Condensate!"

This was matter at absolute zero, a state of matter that was forbidden by the laws of physics. However, it was a state of matter that had very little information. According to the Third Law of Thermodynamics, the entropy of a system approached zero as its temperature approached zero kelvin, which was the temperature that the Einstein-Bose condensate was at.

In other words, for a given amount of matter, it had very little information. He also knew from empirical observation that the closer matter approached absolute zero, the more it simply became an almost standing wave function, becoming some strange fusion between matter and wave, like a singular gloop of matter-energy that was remarkably uniform.

It had very little discernible information in this state, and its mass-distribution could be described with a single line of information. This was the ideal state of matter for him to legislate on because he would get the maximum amount of law divergence for the minimal amount of metaphysical stamina.

"This is the way to go!"

The first thing he did was remove a single stem cell from his body before he activated his Martialverse, ensuring that this one hyperdimensional cell would be free from the price of Transcendence.

It was not an ordinary stem cell, however. He had applied Anthea’s cellular memory reincarnation technique, the same technique with which he had been reincarnated. The cell also contained all of the information of his entire body, not just his entire consciousness. In other words, in the memory of this cell was an absolutely, informationally identical copy of Rui’s existence.

After separating it from him, he immediately prepared a massive reservoir of compounds containing elements that were the building blocks of his body in the laboratory then and there. Large amounts of water for the hydrogen and oxygen. Methane and other carbon-based organic compounds, with every other element that he would need.

He gathered a hundred times the amount of mass in his own body.

Then, he began.

A true Einstein-Bose condensate was impossible according to the laws of Physics.

But this was where his Martialverse came in.

RUMBLE

He activated his Verse, using it to hyper-accelerate the flow of heat out of the reservoir of organic matter vastly beyond the laws of physics. He pictured gushing water that simply wouldn’t be stopped, and the heat obeyed his Verse and acted just like that. At the same time, it prevented any heat from entering the reservoir.

This caused the temperature in the reservoir to plummet at an extraordinary pace. Within seconds, the reservoir’s temperature reached near absolute zero. The information, correspondingly, of the entire system also reduced to an extreme extent, but he knew he could go more.

He applied his Martialverse to the final scrap of heat, making it flow outside. At the same time, he created a flowing river of Water that acted as a barrier between either side. No heat was allowed to enter the reservoir during this time.

FSSS...

All the particles within the reservoir froze as if they froze in time. Their existences melted as they began merging into one overlapping quantum field distribution of matter-energy.

What was a reservoir of countless particles, each with their own momentum interacting in a chaotic system with overwhelming information, had become the most pristine and orderly existence, the kind that could be fully comprehended with a single glance.

"This..." Rui grinned. "This is what I need!"

He activated Legislator Mode, applying his hyperdimensional legislation to this system. The information of the entire system had been reduced to almost zero, making it effortless for him to create a large swathe of matter that had altered laws.

With this, he would be able to create a hundred Martial Bodies with altered laws!
