The Martial Unity

Chapter 4575 Didn't Disappear

While the aliens each reacted with stunned expressions, the humans didn't react with nearly as much surprise.

"That's Rui," Ceeran grinned. "Invincible as always."

He had known Rui for a long time; he had known him since he was a Martial Squire. There was a time when he was a Senior, and Rui was a Squire; he remembered how he had helped guide Rui in the Squire Realm. How Rui eventually caught up with him and quickly surpassed him entirely.

It was a surreal feeling when he revisited those memories.

Zentra, who stood beside him, hadn't known Rui for nearly as long, but had also gone through a similar experience. He simply nodded at Ceeran's words. "Indeed, His Majesty is indomitable no matter who or what he faces."

Ru, on the other hand, merely heaved a sigh of relief, relaxing a little. She didn't particularly care about the battle itself as much as the other two Martial Sages, but she was happy that Rui didn't seem to be at any risk. She still didn't know how he intended to deal with the price of the Verse when the time came, but she trusted him enough to not be concerned.

Far away from the ships at the center of the star system, between three white dwarf stars, the powerful impacts rippled through space and time and through the information dimension.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

Rui never ceased the beatdown, his fists raining down on the Sea Sovereign with a merciless onslaught. His eyes remained fixed on the Sovereign of Seas, never once allowing his attention to move away from his opponent.

"Rgh…!" The Sovereign of Seas was covered in his blue blood, rapidly washed away by Rui's Martialverse.

Rui's Realms of power blazed with intensity as he ravaged his opponent's body. He wasn't going all out in this regard, but he was exerting himself nonetheless. The goal was to prevent the Sovereign of Seas from healing from his lethal wound caused by the Circle of Infinity by exerting as much pressure and damage as he could.

It certainly worked.

The Sovereign had no choice but to redirect a part of his Oceanverse to prevent Rui's physical attacks from completely overwhelming. The rest of his Oceanverse tried to heal the critical wound that Rui had inflicted upon him, but Rui's Martialverse prevented it from making much progress. With a part of the Oceanverse forced to defend, the two Verses were roughly equal, allowing Rui to stop him from healing his wounds.

With the wound not healing, it only continued bleeding. It continued weakening the Sea Sovereign, which in turn required him to redirect more power from the Oceanverse to defend himself, which meant that there was even less power to heal, which in turn weakened the Sea Sovereign again.

It was a vicious spiral, one that pulled him closer and closer towards not just defeat, but even death. That made the aquadite Administrator that much more desperate; he literally thought he was going to be killed.

Rui, on the other hand, maintained a calm expression despite the onslaught he was inflicting upon the Administrator. He was not impressed with this Administrator. The Divine Mothers were trickier with their webs. Whereas the trident that the Administrator wielded was not an innate power the way that Divine Mother webs were.

It was a weapon that he had gained some martial mastery of.

However, by the standards of Martial Art in human civilization, his mastery of the trident was pitiful. He wouldn't even be able to start a sect with such pathetic skill. Rui had no doubt that he was an expert at the weapon within his civilization, but Martial Artists held themselves to much higher standards.

His lacking mastery of the weapon was one of the reasons that Rui could effortlessly turn the tables and create an opening that he could capitalize on to dominate the rest of the match.

Not a challenge at his level.

'Are aquadite Administrators this weak, or is this fellow that weak?'

He wasn't sure.

Regardless, he wasn't too impressed.

Perhaps it didn't matter how strong an Administrators since one Administrator could force another to use the Verse, which would cause both to disappear. As long as one didn't die, the outcome was the same.

"Enough!" The Sovereign bellowed, drawing Rui's attention. "Stop! I'll die!"

That sounded like a concession.

Rui halted his onslaught, floating away to take a good look at his handiwork.

The aquadite had been pummeled until he was covered in blue blood, his body covered with all manner of wounds. His Oceanverse flickered, struggling to stay active. On the other hand, Rui's body was spotless. He didn't have so much as a scratch on him. His Martialverse remained stable.

WHOOSH…

The aquadite fleet of ships rushed over as soon as it became clear that the battle was complete. The wounded Administrator was quickly met by a team of what appeared to be medical experts who swiftly helped him heal.

He received a transmission from the S'rrigin at the same time.

"Emperor of Water, we clearly specified that both sides had to hold back," the S'rrigin insisted with an indignant tone of voice.

Rui nodded. "I did hold back. A lot."

He didn't even use his Corporeal Realm at all. And the other Realms that he did use, he didn't use to their fullest. He had a lot of lethal trump cards that he avoided. He also didn't use any of his recent hyperdimensional insights. What was that if not holding back?

The S'rrigin simply stared at him with an expression that Rui didn't recognize, but guessed was disbelief.

"The Divine Mother can confirm I held back," he added.

Yet, this only pressed salt into the wound they had sustained to their pride.

WHOOSH…

Rui turned towards the figure of the aquadite Administrator who slowly faded away from reality. He had used his Verse much more to heal and fight Rui off, so he was more exhausted. The others turned towards Rui expectantly.

Yet, Rui didn't disappear.
