Chapter 3959 I Know
Chapter 3959 I Know
RUMBLE!
A wave of seismic radiation washed over the entirety of the Panama Continent and the true world, greater than any other before it. The land shook despite the seismic energy absorption of the various civilizations that occupied the seven continents. It began shaking more violently.
“Something is seriously wrong with the Panama Continent!” Mother Maeria grew alarmed at the strange geological activity about the continent’s crust and mantle. “How can such an anomaly occur? What in the world is responsible for such an outcome?”
RUMBLE!
Despite the immense absorptive power of East Genora and the many roots that continuously sucked up energy from the land, waves of shaking washed over all the lands. She furiously skimmed through all the data, trying to find the source of the all geological anomalies that were occurring even as she tried to find its origin.
“Somehow, the entirety of the crust and mantle are converging upon the point of no return as if it’s the center of gravity,” the Divine Doctor murmured with a mystified expression. “I’m not an expert on geology, but I have done my research into the field. Such a thing should not be possible.”
“It must be because of the alien virus,” the projected voice of the Elder Tree drew their attention. “Right now, I’m gathering data from across the Beast Domain of the Panama Continent and beyond, and everything I’m seeing suggests to me that we’re dealing with an entity that controls an entire section of this world.”
“It appears that we have underestimated our foe.” The Jormungandr murmured thoughtfully as his thoughts were converted to words. “We’re dealing with a foe that could destroy this world if it really wanted to, but chooses not to because it has some utility from our world.”
“More importantly, we’re unable to even identify it, even though it is taking such blatant action.” Mother Maeria’s expression grew grim. “That means that it is more unfathomable than we thought. It isn’t something as simple as just esoteric matter by itself.”
“I’m sensing the esoteric matter in the crust of the Panama Continent even as we speak, and I do not detect any activity from the esoteric matter itself… but at the same time, it feels like there is something that is… hiding in plain sight,” the Elder Tree shared his impression. “It’s an eerie feeling.”
“For now, let us keep monitoring the situation at high alertness and focus on getting a good understanding of the situation we face.” Mother Maeria’s tone grew grim. “We can’t allow anything to happen to Rui, no matter what.”
RUMBLE!
Across the true world, the presence of seismic radiation despite the energy absorption blockade left citizens feeling deeply unsafe. Most of the world understands the significance of these earthquakes despite the strongest arrangements.
It meant that without the energy absorption blockade, they would undoubtedly be dead. The sheer amount of energy it took to overwhelm the blockade at its full power was not small; it was apocalyptic. And the seismic radiation was even worse in the Panama Continent than it was anywhere else in the true world.
RUMBLE!
The ground shook as auto-carriages across the entire continent came to a standstill. Citizens began growing panicked as the land beneath their feet began shaking more and more violently. Buildings began quivering as objects standing on shelves and counters began falling and collapsing to the ground, causing chaos to grow more and more ever-present across the entire. The darkness of the night sky seemed to come alive, choking the atmosphere and spreading into the hearts of the people.
RUMBLE!
“Waaah!” Runark fell to the ground, only to be caught by Kane, who lifted his son into his arms. “Baba!”
RUMBLE!
Kane sharpened his green eyes as he gazed in the direction of the emerging Martial Embodiment with a knowing expression of reckoning. He knew more than anyone that forcing Rui to go this far was not something that any ordinary entity could have done. He couldn’t even imagine just what kind of monster he was fighting that would force his best friend to deploy this much power.
RUMBLE!
“Papa! You can do it!” Ria shouted encouragements in the direction of the emerging illusory water. “You can beat the bad guy!”
Amare tightened her grip around her daughter protectively as she lifted her daughter, pulling her into a hug. Her amber eyes blazed with reckoning as she remembered the ominous warning that Rui had given her shortly before he departed.
He had told her to leave Gaia if something were to ever happen to the planet.
She had thought he was exaggerating.
But only now did she understand that he had been completely within the realm of reason with those words. There was a foe of great power within Gaia, and it was something that even Rui needed to go all out in order to defeat.
“Rui…” A murmur escaped her as her expression grew even more grim. She wished she could fight by his side, but unfortunately, she didn’t think anybody could intervene in this battle. She also couldn’t leave Ria’s protection to anybody else.
She directed a deep gaze in the direction of the Martial Embodiment. “You must win. For the sake of the world and…”
Her gaze softened as it shifted to Ria.
“…for the sake of our daughter.”
Far, far away, deep underneath the epicenter of the Panama Continent, Rui heard her words as the blood-red suns shining within blinding brightness in his ethereal eyes flared with even greater power.
“I know.”
RUMBLE!!!!!
He had no intention of losing this battle. The world around him shook as he continued spewing the Poison of Yin and Yang into the mantle underneath the Panama Continent as it continued spreading everywhere, into every orifice, micro-opening, and pore. It began worming its way through the mantle at a shocking speed despite the volume of the mantle. This was due to the fact that the mantle was mostly large swathes of lava and magma, leaving the actual area for his poison to actually cover to be relatively negligible, allowing it to comb through the mantle at high speed.
RUMBLE!!!!!
It had become a wave of pure death.
