Chapter 3532: Double Resolution
Chapter 3532: Double Resolution
“I am aware, still, that is a rather steep split.”
“Aquatic environment and outside of our continent.” Mother Alicia heaved a regrettable sigh. “It is a compensation proportionate to our ability to contribute. No Mother of Nature can leave her position. And she certainly cannot act in the ocean with her full power. This means that we are lacking in firepower in the environment where these resources are.”
“The most important part is that there is a great bond of trust between the Panamic Alliance and West Genoran Elven Civilization,” Emperor Rael added, gazing straight at the elephant man. “While human civilization does not have as good a past engagement with the therianthropic civilization of Kiriket, we have cooperated well regarding the matter with the Dragon Emperor. You have shown us great trust, and I believe that I have great reason to trust you as well. We align philosophically and ideologically, and desire the same thing and face the same challenges. There is no greater reason to ally, I believe.”
“And what would the split between resources look like?” Lord Vakratunda raised an eyebrow. “While I can be quite lenient on many things. The one thing that I cannot be lenient on is this priceless resource. It is nothing short of the keys to the universe itself. The keys to infinity. I cannot tolerate being short-changed in any way.”
“I propose a 40:40:20 split to the Panamic Alliance, the Pasupati Clans of Kiriket, and the West Genoran Elven Civilization,” Emperor Rael offered. “Your aquatic Pasupati Clans and your aquatic biotechnology are quite powerful. We of the Panamic Alliances have submarines ourselves as well as many monsters and warriors specializing in underwater battle.”
Emperor Rael truly found it regretful that Rui wasn’t able to control the quasi-Transcendent monsters of the Great Nam Ocean. The monsters were fully under the control of Jormungandr, who wasn’t an asset that human civilization could exert control over.
However, they still did have the monsters of the Beast Domain, the seas of which had many beasts and monsters that were under Rui’s control.
The Emperor of Harmony had considered getting Rui to try to enslave the therianthrope population. It was a dark proposition, but the Emperor of Harmony considered it his duty to do whatever he needed to for the sake of his people.
Ultimately, however, he concluded that this path contained more risks and dangers against human civilization than an earnest friendship with therianthropes had.
“I accept your offer.”
Lord Vakratunda’s tone was resolute.
“With the understanding that the final agreement that our diplomatic teams negotiate may not be exactly what you have offered,” Lord Vakratunda caveated. “However, I am in line with the spirit of the understanding.”
“I am glad to hear that.” Emperor Rael nodded with an encouraging nod. “However, in the meantime, I propose a mutual-defense security agreement where we agree to come to each other’s aid. Negotiations over a joint venture can take time. Days, at least, but likely weeks. We don’t have any time. Intelligence reports show that the dwarves, giants, tekvores, and evolutionaries, and even other hybrid and neutral polities, have already begun mobilizing. Our forces have also begun mobilizing, and I do not wish to delay that. I propose we can make an immediate agreement for a security deal that will require us to come to each other’s aid until we can finalize the deal for the joint venture.”
“That, I am amenable to.” Lord Vakratunda nodded. “We should make a joint announcement to the world to project our unity and our commitment to the deal. Very few parties should be inclined to attack our operations after such a deterrence from some of the most powerful civilizations in the world.”
The three leaders acted upon their mutual agreement quickly, and they quickly settled upon an agreement and a resolution. West Genoran Elven Civilization, Panamic civilization, and therianthropic civilization would work together to mine as much negatron matter as they possibly could.
However, that wasn’t the only resolution that they had come up with.
“The presence of the negatron matter is game-changing, but the one thing that it doesn’t change is the simple fact that this is still an environmental disaster.” The Emperor of Harmony reminded them. “The fact of the matter is that lava is still boiling and intoxicating the ocean. This will cause untold damage to the environment and to life across the entire world. Not to mention, I know for a fact that this will affect the elves and the therianthropes more than it will affect Panamic civilization. I believe that it is in your interest to also agree on a joint environmental preservation and solution venture. We must find a way to prevent the destructive changes to the climate that are about to ensue.”
Lord Vakratunda nodded with a serious expression. “Ideally, I would have hoped that all seven races could come together and focus on solving this issue together, but the presence of this negatron matter completely changes the game. Now we are heading to war instead of joint cooperation for the betterment of human civilization.”
Mother Alicia heaved a regretful sigh. “The simple fact of the matter is that there is nothing that the Evolutionary Army will do to alter their ways. Remember, their path is Adaptive Evolution. They can adapt to any climate change. To any global warming. That is why this issue does not matter to them. The giants are similar. No environment is hostile to them. They can tolerate anything. The tekvores and dwarves are not as unbothered, but they are too blinded by the technological applications that this negatron matter has. The dwarves are obsessed with creating their next shiny artifact, while the tekvores will do anything to integrate this matter into their bodies. I believe that…”
She shook her head. “We are the only parties that are truly concerned about the environmental impacts. We will have to fix this problem, thankfully, we dark elves have already computed several solutions…”
She began going in-depth into the solutions that the super-intelligence of the flora network had come up with as the three civilizations worked together for a better future.
And yet, war drew closer.
