Chapter 3452: The Continent of Kiriket

Chapter 3452: The Continent of Kiriket

Rui and Amare’s journey to Kiriket Continent proved to be long and arduous. The need to maintain stealth and hide their path to the large continent made it so that they were delayed by a much larger degree than they normally would.

It took them a whopping two months of a delayed, slow approach, causing them to delay in their rendezvous with the Harmonist Faction. Rui had relied on information brokers in certain islands on the way to Kiriket Continent to keep himself apprised of the situation on the continent.

The War Coalition had grown excessively intense and strong, all but ready to go to war against the Panama Continent. The biggest impediment was, of course, the monsters of the Great Nam Ocean that would attack them if they sensed an invasion into the Panama Continent. It was too infeasible to move an army to enter the Panama Continent without the ocean, it was why there was a race to space in the first place.

Their journey to Kiriket required a painstakingly slow pace so that Rui didn’t burn out, while also avoiding their higher Realms of power due to the inconvenient after-effects. The constant need to sleep for long periods of time would definitely slow them down a lot.

If they tried speeding to Kiriket Continent, it was very likely that their momentum and energy signature would draw the Dragon Emperor’s attention, allowing him to prepare a more well-timed ambush by estimating their arrival.

Their arrival needed to be secret; otherwise, they would be overrun by the Dragon Emperor and his army.

During this time, Rui and Amare refined their preparations for the operation that they were about to commit to. The latter spent her time growing even more familiar with high principles without drawing attention, while Rui refined his approach with the Eye of Prophecy, understanding how things needed to unfold for everything to go as he planned.

And after three long months, they had finally reached a hundred kilometers from Kiriket.

“There it is.” Rui’s pitch-black eyes widened in relief. “Finally, we have reached.”

WHOOSH

The cool, yet humid winds of the ocean brushed past them, carrying with it the salty odor of the ocean as their hair and Martial attire fluttered. The pitch-black darkness of the night sky consumed the entire world as both Rui and Amare hovered above the ocean waters, gazing far into the distance at a vast expanse of land across the entire horizon.

It was the Continent of Kiriket.

The waves of the ocean were torrential as they crashed into each other in a volatile ocean surface that frothed atop the surface of the dark waters. A faint hint of tension hung in the air as Rui and Amare sky-walked above the waters, gazing at the distant continent’s land rising above the horizon.

They had reached within a hundred kilometers of their target, well within the area of high surveillance of the Border Patrol Beast Watch that protected the continent from unauthorized entry. ᴡ ᴏᴠʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛʀs ᴀʀ ᴘᴜʙʟsʜᴅ ᴏ novel⟡fire.net

There were some ships and even boats out in the ocean that moved to and from the continent, though nowhere near the dense flux of trade that the Hlakaschken Trade Empire had gotten.

Rui and Amare remained undetected, however.

The closer Rui drew, the stronger he made his stealth, using not just his Martial Heart, but also his Mind and Soul to create an extraordinarily impenetrable stealth field that hid any and signatures they left behind of any kind, including the warping of space and time that their bodies created, while also leveraging Greater Phantomind Void on top of that.

This was enough to avoid being picked up on by whatever surveillance apparatuses the therianthropes had in place on their South-East coast.

“It’s time…” Rui remarked. “Let’s go.”

The two of them slowly skywalked through the air above the waters of the ocean, heading towards Kiriket Continent as they made sure not to do anything that could draw the attention of the forces of Kiriket.

The Dragon Emperor would very much be willing to declare war right then and there if he got wind of the fact that Rui had already reached the continent. The stakes were too high for Rui to possibly mess up, which was why he spent two months creating just the perfect technique to deal with their powerful surveillance.

The therianthropes had the best surveillance system, greater than even the elves, due to the fact that the animal kingdom had much greater senses developed than flora did. They had extraordinary sensory depth as well as powerful instincts, which were designed precisely for detecting unknown threats.

Considering that Rui would struggle to hide even in Genora, hiding in Kiriket would have been impossible if he hadn’t created techniques for doing just that.

He maintained his breathing technique as he and Amare steadily drew closer at an agonizingly slow pace to minimize the risk of being caught. It took an hour of a slow and steady approach to make it easier to erase their energy signature while also not pushing their stamina to the limits, which would compromise them later.

Rui would need to sleep to deal with the after-effects of his Realms, which meant that they needed to be in the clear soon before their stamina ran out, making Stamina a very important constraint to their operation of infiltrating Kiriket.

As they drew closer to the South-East coast of Kiriket, the continent became more and more visible to their powerful senses with each passing moment.

They beheld Kiriket for the first time ever.

Like Genora, it was covered with a lot of flora, but unlike Genora, the density and thickness were low. Rui could sense that much of it was organic and natural species of flora that existed to serve the fauna, while fauna in Genora existed to serve the flora.

Within the depths of the green forests, he sensed powerful lifeforms of incredibly rich diversity and density. There were more animals each square meter than he had ever sensed anywhere in the world, including the Beast Domain.
