Chapter 3430: Epiphany
Chapter 3430: Epiphany
Amare’s epiphany was soul-encompassing, enveloping her mind and body. Genism philosophy had always pushed that everything was Martial Art, but she had never realized that even everything that potentially could be was also Martial Art. Rui had helped her find power in her memories that she didn’t even know existed, despite the fact that she was a master of muscle memory herself.
Each action she had ever taken, when woven together with every other action, could yield power beyond her wildest fathoming. It was an endless ocean of permutations and combinations that she had never once touched upon, but now had been exposed to.
And now that she had been exposed to it, she could never go back to the way she had been before.
The way that Rui deconstructed and reconstructed muscle memory changed her view on what was possible in terms of discovering Martial Art in everything. He had applied the principles of his Forge of Creation to her muscle memory, and in doing so, he showed her the potential for power that existed even beyond her fathoming.
He had constructed high principles out of her memories, leaving her wondering just how much more power within her being was untapped without her even realizing it. The realization was euphoric, leaving her in an extraordinary state of mind as Rui took her through many years of her life, replacing existing memories with new ones born from the pieces of the old ones.
It was like cutting out letters from a newspaper and then pasting them together to form a new sentence. If done randomly, one would largely end up with gibberish, but if done correctly, one could end up with meaningful sentences that didn’t exist in the newspaper before.
The realization bore heavily on Amare, causing her to reconsider everything she knew about her memories.
“What is power…?” she asked herself within her mind as her pitch-black eyes grew hazy with thought.
Was it simply the power to punch hard?
Surely not.
There were Martial Artists who didn’t punch at all, who were absolutely menaces to fight against. There were pathwalkers in the world who didn’t even fight directly, namely the dwarves, and they were forces to be reckoned with.
There was so much diversity in power that she wasn’t able to find a common thread that united them all.
Until she did.
“Power… is causality.” She reached an answer. “Power is a measure of one’s causality.”
To influence events and outcomes in one’s favor, that’s all it was.
Memories could be power.
Even potential memories that didn’t exist could be power, as Rui showed her as he rapidly wove bits and pieces of existing muscle memory to create movements to high principles.
It wasn’t enough to say that ’everything is Martial Art.’
Martial Art existed beyond everything that existed.
It existed in things that didn’t exist.
Things that could potentially exist.
A realm of power vastly beyond the physical material world.
All that Martial Art awaited her.
The epiphany bore heavily on her mind and soul even as she inherited high principles from Rui. It pushed her deeper and deeper down her Martial Path, allowing her to behold a vast Realm of power much greater than anything she had ever experienced in her entire life.
The Transcendent Realm.
Or rather, the true Realm above the Sage Realm, the one that even the Martial Transcendents had merely set one toe within. She felt something welling up within her as she grew more certain of the path of power that she was on.
All this time, she had merely adopted the Gen philosophy that everything was Martial Art, and it had served her well. She had embodied it well with her kinesthetic learning, allowing her to grow stronger simply by virtue of living.
However, when she realized that Gen philosophy was too generalized and broad, yet simultaneously not universal enough. She needed a philosophy that was hers and her alone, a philosophy that truly embodied the essence of her Martial Art with even greater resolution.
She felt the blissful surge of power as a flood of memories of high principles entered her mind, etching itself in her memories, allowing her to benefit from achieving principles that she had never touched before.
She could feel her power rising with each passing moment as she learned to tap into the highest and most exotic mechanisms of the universe. In addition to just muscle memory, she also received a theoretical explanation of the principles of the universe, helping her understand why they are in the grand scheme of the cosmos and reality itself.
As a Martial Artist, her understanding had always been limited to intuition and instinct, but now she had been equipped with a qualitative understanding of the principles of physics and even the principles of biology, making her understanding more whole and complete.
It only aided the sublimation of her euphoric epiphany, filling in the chinks of a whole new worldview that viewed everything that existed or could exist and everything in between as Martial Art.
RUMBLE…
The world began to shake as muscle memory filled up her mind to the very brim as she could feel principles and techniques emerging from deep within her, she resisted the itch to simply bust out some moves after activating her Realms, of power.
She couldn’t make things more difficult for Rui who was doing her a favor by using Soul Retcon to edit a minute part of her memories into those of high principles.
And yet, the pressure continued building up within her like a volcanic eruption that only grew ever more charged and stronger with each passing second. It took every ounce of willpower to contain her energy, yet it only grew harder and harder with each passing second.
It didn’t just emerge from her body.
It emerged from her mind and soul.
It emerged from the sum totality of her being.
And it would not be refused.
RUMBLE!!!
The world shook as she activated her Realms of power with a euphoric bliss of enlightenment.
