“Rgh!” Rui gritted his teeth as the powerful antimatter explosions ravaged his flesh, only for it to be healed in the blink of an eye with Weaving Blood.

If not for the power of the gu poison enhancing the autophagy process and the explosive cancer within his body, he would not have been able to regenerate his wounds as fast as he normally did.

No Martial Sage, aside from the Transcendent Candidates, could even possibly survive such an astronomical onslaught from an opponent that didn’t even exist in one place.

And yet, Weaving Blood, Neo Godspeed, and Nemean Blossom were not infinite techniques.

They were constrained by stamina and his energy reserves.

The more he abused the Metabody System, the more his stamina ran out. His stamina was impressive, enhanced by a regular stamina-enhancing potion as well as the Blood of Solaris.

And yet had previously already come to the conclusion that it was insufficient.

’I am completely lost in the stamina battle.’ He gritted his teeth. ’I need to figure out some way to turn the tide in my favor and kill that goddamn tree before I run out of stamina!’

That was the condition for at least preliminary survival.

’The biggest issue is the fact that my greatest advantage is barely an advantage for me anymore.’

The Prophecy of the Void was unable to give him a foresight advantage.

They ran an extensive predictive model on him on what was effectively a network of supercomputers. Rui’s mind was indeed brilliant, but not even he could match such power without dedicating everything to Megamind and weakening his physicality too much. Prophecy was what made up for the difference, but it did not give him an active advantage.

’I can’t even use the SOUL System because they guys don’t even have the same kind of consciousness—’

His eyes widened as an incredible idea popped into his mind.

’What if I combine the SOUL System and the Tapestry of Nature into a singular technique?’

The reason that the SOUL System didn’t work against systems of thought was that he could sense their subconscious SOUL through his mind sense.

However, that was exactly what the Tapestry of Nature provided!

It allowed him to sense what was effectively the subconscious language of flora.

’If I combine these two techniques synergetically the way I did the VOID algorithm and the Eye of Prophecy…’

Then he would be able to create a super synergetic technique that used the best of both worlds to produce an outcome much greater than the sum of the parts.

It would allow him to regain his absent advantage and fight in his element.

He pushed himself to the very limit as he activated the Forge of Creation.

Not to create a new system of thought, no.

But to use two systems of thought as one.

The Forge of Creation simulated countless possible fusions of the two techniques with the help of the Eye of Prophecy, spontaneously creating a new emergent technique that was adaptively evolved to deal with nature specifically.

In the real world, a tsunami of attacks consisting of an astronomical destructive potential emerged from the forest as the resonating Mothers of Nature sought to annihilate him once and for all.

Time slowed down.

Time slowed down even as they arrived within inches of him.

And yet, when he was done, each and every projectile converging on him was reduced to pieces.

In the blink of an eye, he had reduced a destructively deadly attack to rubble.

His body grew pitch-black as the gu covered the entirety of his skin once more.

His eyes remained fixed on the distant body of Mother Mara.

“You are going to die today.”

His tone was chilling.

The dark air of the night skies grew electric as he charged straight towards her with a blinding speed, mobilizing all the gu in his body to inflict a singular death blow on the leader of the operation.

And yet, his words merely inspired a scoff from the resonating Mothers of Nature.

’You are arrogant, demon of death. You have not witnessed the full extent of power. But no matter, we will show you.’

The world shook as each and every single flora lifeform within ten thousand kilometers erupted in a violent discharge, spewing powerful attacks in his direction with an unfathomable amount of total destructive power.

And yet, Rui’s eyes simply flared with power.

They flared with euphoria.

His expression lit up with a viscerally ferocious delight and ecstasy even as he ran head-first into a boundless barrage of attacks so enormous than they blotted out the entire sky.
