Chapter 3266: Weaving a Tapestry

“I thought I would earth to create a technique to sense the signals of nature, but I can sense them as a Martial Sage,” Rui remarked, deep in thought. “I just need to learn to interpret them as well as a dark elf warrior would.”

Of course, in time, he hoped to master the language of nature as any dark elf without the need for conscious thought, but that was definitely something that would take many years, even for him.

WHOOSH

He entered the Forest of War, heading straight towards its epicenter.

Despite the fact that substantial swathes of the forest had been wrecked in battle between him and the dark elves just ten days ago, all of it had been healed and restored by the dark elves. One would have never been able to predict that there had been great conflicts that caused great damage across the Forest of War.

WHOOSH

He stopped as he eventually reached the Mother of Nature at the very epicenter of the Forest of War.

’Have you found what you sought?’ Mother Alicia’s voice lit up in his mind.

“Yes,” Rui replied. “Now, it’s time to get started with my training process.”

WHOOSH

He returned within the depths of the great tree, isolating himself within the Mother of Nature, before sitting himself in meditation.

’What are you doing?’ the Mother of Nature asked with a curious tone.

“I’m planning on creating a system of thought for interpreting nature,” Rui replied. “Now that I have all the raw and even processed data collected by your research and development institution, I have everything that I need to process all that information.”

’How do you plan to create a system of thought by meditating?’ the Mother of Nature inquired even with an even greater tone of fascination. ’Wouldn’t such a thing require a lab or some place to plot out the protocols of the system of thought?’

Rui shook his head. “We Martial Artists tend to figure stuff out by intuition. Although I am different in that I follow a rather formal scientific and engineering process all within my mind. I have created almost all my systems of thought this way.”

An excited smile emerged on Rui’s face as he got to his most favorite part of creating systems of thought.

Feeding immense raw data to the VOID algorithm.

Not all of systems of thought were created this way, but certainly many were.

He had created both the Tree of Life and the Scriptures of Terra both using this method. They were both constituted by crystallizing the patterns that existed in vast expanses of data.

In the case of the Tree of Life, Rui inherited all the knowledge of the Elder Tree on what the most optimal environments for each species was, used it to figure out what the most antithetical environment was, before obtaining the Tree of Life model that served as the very essence of what environments were most antithetical to what life.

For the Scriptures of Terra, Rui mapped all the tunnels of the Nest of Terra, tunnels that were born as a result from all centuries of trial and error to finding what was the least inefficient path to dig tunnels through, this led him to discovering the Scriptures that the Shield of Gaia had foretold.

And now, he had another vast expanse of sensor data obtained from millennia of experimentation from the dark elves.

RUMBLE…

The Mother of Nature shook as Rui activated his Realms of power which full-force.

His Heart, Mind, and Soul bloomed with great power, unleashing a flood of Water that threatened to destroy everything.

If not for the extraordinarily potent anti-surveillance technology of the Mother of Nature, the ensuing flood of Water would have been killed hundreds of millions of dark elves in the blink of an eye.

The VOID algorithm revved to life as he immediately activated the pattern recognition system before feeding the vast research data gathered from the many years of experimentation into the system.

It immediately began chugging away as it began gobbling the patterns in the data and it began outputting patterns after patterns.

Each pattern was like a thread to a tapestry.

Rui wove them together thread after thread as he began creating a new system of thought to interpret how nature communicated with the world around him.

The sheer number of patterns that existed couldn’t be overstated.

Each signal was a collective matrix of electromagnetic, sound, odor, heat, and even seismic radiation element. Each signal that nature displayed had these five elements to it. Each of the five elements had millions of possible values and together, there were a million million million million million different possible signals for nature to output.

RUMBLE!!!

“No wonder you dark elves live for millennia!” Rui gritted his teeth as he pushed his processing power to the very limits. “Harmonizing with nature when it is capable of such a vast diverse dataset of possible messages can’t possibly be done in a short amount of time.”

The sheer amount of patterns that existed were beyond fathoming.

If each pattern could be likened to the equivalent of a real string, then the resulting system of thought was the equivalent of a tapestry that was as wide as a whole city!

This was the sheer magnitude of what Rui had chosen to tackle.

“I will have to go heavy duty on this.”

A blood-red glow emerged in his eyes as he activated Megamind, pushing elevating his cognition to an even higher level of power.

RUMBLE!!!

Mother Alicia watched in silence and amazement even as Rui unleashed a maelstrom of radiation with the sheer force of his Realms of power. She relied on her biotechnology to safely absorb the power to ensure that it didn’t harm the other dark elves in the Forest of war while observing what Rui was doing.

She wasn’t able to peer into his mind, but she could feel the immense cognition that furiously churned away within the depths of his mind, producing a profoundly beautiful tapestry.
