The world shook as shining blood-red streaks of power emerged from his heart, spreading across his entire body. The very root of his existence seemed to change as a boundless tsunami of water erupted from within him.

It consumed the entirety of the world, spreading far and wide as it swept up the entire battlefield.

The entire world was drowned in the ocean of water his extraordinary Martial Mind created.

The Evolutionary Army that was hastily reconstructing a tiny makeshift base once more froze as an extraordinarily heavy avalanche of information flooded their minds, paralyzing them where they stood, while many simply dropped dead as their eyes rolled backward.

The Martial Sages stiffened as they remembered.

They remembered the power of the Dawnbringer.

It inspired hope.

Hope that he would be able to overcome what the others couldn’t.

RUMBLE!!!!!!

A surge of materia prima warped the very fabric of space and time around him.

It was as though he existed in a Realm of his own.

Supreme Commander Anthea gazed deeply into the unfathomable darkness in Rui’s pitch-black eyes before closing his own.

“Your answer is unfortunate.” his ethereal tone was chilling. “I hereby declare you a traitor to the Evolutionary Army.”

His eyes beamed with boundless power.

“From this day forth, the Evolutionary Army will hunt you for all of eternity.”

What followed exceeded the fathoming of the various gathered Martial Sages.

One moment, the two of them were simply standing before each other.

The very next moment, all hell had broken loose.

Anthea’s ethereal eyes glinted with bloodlust as his palm sharpened a blade of pure death, charging towards Rui’s heart with a tremendous velocity.

WHOOSH

A single sidestep was all it took.

Rui had evaded the attack even before it began.

“I can see your SOUL.”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as Rui’s powerful fist surged forth with powerful momentum toward’s the man’s solar plexus, threatening to cripple him then and there.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!

The impact was colossal, sending shockwaves across not just heaven and earth, but also space and time.

And yet, Anthea didn’t so much as move.

He didn’t so much as flinch.

Rui’s eyes sharpened as he activated his Yin-Yang Spear, unleashing a maelstrom of attacks, flooding with materia prima.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

Each blow was destructively powerful, approaching the very peak of the Sage Realm with how powerful Rui had gotten. Rui’s fists flew back and forth as his body coiled and recoiled in rapid succession, generating great torque with the power of materia prima.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!

His fist dug deep into the Anthea’s body, denting it so much that an indentation appeared on his back.

Any other Martial Sage or evolutionary would be reeling with that kind of damage.

And yet, Anthea didn’t so much as stir.

One moment, his abdomen was deformed in a strangely plastic manner, as though it were made of clay.

The very next moment, however, it was restored to as good as new.

His flesh unfurled, returning to its original state.

It was incomprehensible.

And yet, Rui’s sharp eyes had pierced through the veil of the unknown.

“You’re reversibly stretching and compressing tissue with molecular changes.”

By deploying a gel-like substance called polyacrylamide to make tissues stretchable and durable while subjecting it to electromagnetic fields and vibrations to make solids act more like liquids, he allowed his tissue to become nigh-indestructible in the face of blunt force attacks.

It was a more advanced version of Rui’s Body of Water that incorporated sophisticated material science and biotechnology.

“Copying the biotechnology of the tekvores is easy when you have our control and mastery of genes,” Anthea remarked with a calm tone. “However, I am not limited to just biotechnology.”

VMMMMM…!

His body shook with power as his outer skin and flesh shifted, covered by a silverly like bodily substance.

It was conventional matter.

Made of protons, neutrons, and electrons.

And yet, it was an element that Rui didn’t recognize.

Anthea’s body surged forth with blinding speed and power, unleashing a tremendously powerful blow that honed in on Rui, unwilling to let him evade. Rui’s gaze sharpened as he activated Flux Earther and Antispiral, intercepting the attack to disperse its impact.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!

CRACK CRACK CRACK!

His eyes widened with shock as his guard cracked upon impact from the powerful attack, breaking like a twig.

And yet, Anthea was just getting started.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

A tremendous surge of attacks, each stronger than the next, ravaged his guard, destroying his bones and crumpling his flesh. Despite Rui’s conditioned body and the materia prima enhancing his defensive techniques, his defense crumbled before Anthea’s armored fists.

‘It’s that substance…’ Rui’s eyes lit up with realization. ‘It’s outside of the periodic table that I’m familiar with. It’s absurdly durable.’

Element-126 had only been theoretical back on Earth, thought to be part of the so-called ‘island of stability’ where giant nuclei were stable.

Yet, in the world of Gaia, it had not only been created artificially but had also gained a name for its extraordinary properties.

“We call this priceless substance Invintium for how indestructible it is.”

Those words sent chills down the spines of various Martial Sages.

BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!!!!

The world shook violently as Anthea ravaged Rui’s body with powerful blows armed with a nigh-indestructible element. Anthea adaptively evolved to any attempt to disperse the impact with a soft landing by targeting the hardest and most inelastic parts of its body; bones.

CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

Each attack, armed with invintium, blasted Rui’s body with boundless attacks as a myriad of wounds emerged across Rui’s body.

The Martial Sages grew grim with alarm as the Supreme Commander of the Evolutionary Army overwhelmed the Dawnbringer with brutal, gruesome attacks that drew blood with each impact.

A final blow of invintium struck Rui’s solar plexus, ravaging his diaphragm as the destructive onslaught finally concluded. The invintium covering his fists was stained with Rui’s blood as he launched a killing palm jab at his neck.

“Perish.”

CRACK CRACK CRACK!

Anthea’s eyes widened with shock as the invintium covering his hand broke into pieces.

He shook where he stood as he found himself gazing at a Rui covered in invintium from head to toe.

His wounds were gone.

An excited smile of mischief emerged on Rui’s face as his fist surged forth with a tremendously powerful attack.

“Thanks for the sample.”

“Rgh…!” Anthea grimaced as a tremendous attack broke his armor of invintium.
