Chapter 2992 Disrupting Delicacy
Chapter 2992 Disrupting Delicacy
Millions and millions of Sage attacks converged upon Rui as the eldritch chimera warped the very fabric of space to weave together each attack to converge upon Rui with perfect coordination.
And yet, this was more difficult than it looked.
After all, there was a limit to the amount of space around Rui, it was not possible for one million attacks to strike him simultaneously. Thus, the eldritch chimera had resorted to relying on a form of constructive superposition to carefully merge large numbers of attacks into a single attack to make space.
That was what Rui sought to disrupt.
RUMBLE!!!!!!
The world shook.
It shook as the delicate balance and care the eldritch chimera put into converging all its power into singular attack was disrupted in the blink of an eye.
One moment, the millions of attacks it unleashed upon Rui flowed and funneled smoothly upon him.
The very next moment, all the order was gone.
BOO0000000000000000OMMM!!!
BOOOO0000000000000OOMMM!!!
BOOOO00000000000000OMMM!!!
BOOOOOOO0000000000OOMMM!!!
BOO0000000000000000OMMM!!!
RUMBLE!!!!!!!
Countless attacks clashed with each other as they funneled in, negating each other. The sheer diversity of attacks that the eldritch chimera unleashed upon Rui was so great that there was an antithetical attack for each of the millions of attacks that the eldritch chimera unleashed.
The fire of a phoenix was antithetical to the frost of the jotuns.
The vacuum attacks of griffons were antithetical to the wind gusts of angels.
The underground land collapses of the earthern basilisks were antithetical to the earthbending of the golems.
The eldritch chimera carefully weaved the millions of attacks it unleashed, such that
they would not clash with each other and would direct all their energy towards harming the Dawnbringer.
RUMBLE!!!!!!
The world shook as Rui ruthlessly sabotaged this delicate balance of constructive superposition.
He didn’t just sabotage this delicate convergence.
He manipulates heaven and earth as well as the fabric of space to ensure that each attack merged with its antithetical opponent.
Heat canceled out cold.
Vacuum canceled out wind.
It was nothing short of matter-antimatter annihilation.
By the time they reached Rui, they had completely destroyed each other, making it impossible for each of them to possibly hurt him.
The respite from the sheer attacks that unfolded was enough to allow Rui to come back from a continuous path of destruction as he methodically and surgically used the Convergence of Anthithesis to negate the millions of attacks that the eldritch chimera unleashed upon him.
His wounds healed as the Transcendent Healing Fruit restored him to his very self once
more.
Pure displeasure flared in the depths of the eldritch chimera’s eyes as it watched Rui dismantle its titanic onslaught of attacks with a truly mind-blowing level of effectiveness. He was dealing with an onslaught of attacks that was literally orders of magnitude greater than anything that he would have been able to produce himself.
It was a level of intensity that not even the three Transcendent candidates would have possibly been able to survive, healing fruit or not.
And yet, the blood-red Suns in his eyes flared with blinding brightness as he gazed straight into the million bloodlusted eyes of the eldritch chimera.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The world shook as Rui stood in the skies, fiercely facing off against the eldritch chimera as he single-handedly negated its hellish raw power and force.
“You are inferior to the Martial Transcendents.”
Rui’s tone was certain.
He still remembered the sheer, unfathomable power that the Astral Sovereign possessed, It was astronomically intense that Rui doubted they would have fared well against the Martial Sages Transcendent even with the arrangements that they possessed now. It became evidently clear that the Transcendent Fear that the Martial Transcendents experienced was vastly greater than the monstrous eldritch chimera that they faced. And yet, that didn’t change the fact that they needed to slay the beast nonetheless. Even as Rui negated the astronomically transcendent raw power of the eldritch
chimera, a single command escaped him.
“Attack.”
His voice reached each and every Martial Sage who watched with a shocked expression
as Rui singlehandedly withstood the exponentially astronomical offense of the colossal
monster.
“Destroy the beast.”
They didn’t need to be told twice.
“FINISH THE BEAST!”
“DESTROY THE MONSTER!”
“KILL THE CHIMERA!”
The Martial Sages drew closer and closer to the eldritch chimera as the creature focused the sum totality of all of its power, trying to destroy the Dawnbringer.
And yet, it failed.
Despite this, it didn’t dare stop targeting him.
It knew that without the Dawnbringer, the other Martial Sages were doomed to defeat. It had managed to corner the Martial Sages quite easily and quickly very early on in the battle, even before it evolved into its current superior state.
The only reason the battle had continued was Rui.
He was the one who turned the tables of the battle twice as he adaptively evolved to the eldritch chimera with an unfathomable level of effectiveness and power, long crossing the limits of the Sage Realm and reaching higher and higher beyond it.
He was the most powerful non-Transcendent Martial Sage in all of human civilization at that moment. His blood-red Suns shined with blinding brightness as he pushed himself
to the very limit.
His eyes were set on the future, rather than the present.
He saw what was definitely bound to unfold.
And all the myriad possible futures that could unfold further on.
The certain future slowly unravelled into countless possible futures into a multiverse of possibilities.
Had it been an ordinary battle, he would have been able to fathom cach and every single ending and conclusion to the battle. However, with hundreds of Martial Sages and one million creatures and lifeforms integrated into the very depths of the eldritch chimera’s being, even with Gigabrain, he was not able to bear witness to the end of the battle from
the present.
All he could do was steer the battle away from futures of defeat and move it towards futures of success.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The world shook as the battle began approaching the culmination of everything that had
unfolded.
