Each attack of the eldritch chimera ravaged the very world around them as it unleashed a hail of destructive attacks, one after another, at none other than Rui exclusively. Rui’s pupils dilated as time slowed down in his eyes, watching the astronomical destruction wave of destruction descend from the sky like the advent of an apocalypse.

Each attack was comprised of a maelstrom of lesser attacks.

A trillion such lesser attacks woven together in a grand tapestry of pure, raw destruction.

The sheer destruction of the chimera was so extensive that it began ravaging even the extraordinarily resilient fossilized country, destroying precious history frozen in time. It struck not just the Lost City, but also its actual target.

And yet, it failed to kill him.

Rui emerged from the destruction with a wounded and battered body even as he surged straight towards the eldritch chimera with a fearsome determination, all but ready to inject the creature with the Primordial Gu.

With each step he took, the eldritch chimera’s instincts warned it of the danger that was to come. It all but sought to crush him where he stood, and it certainly could have if he were its only opponent.

Unfortunately, for the eldritch chimera, he was not alone.

“RARGH!” the Devil roared as he leaped straight at the titanic mountain-like monster, unleashing a truly astronomically destructive attack with two blackholes.

The sheer blow attack blasted two cleanly carved holes in the eldritch chimera, causing it to bleed hybrid blood profusely from its body. The Reverend of Reckoning launched targeted attacks at the eldritch chimera’s most vulnerable and critical points, ravaging it with heavy wounds that also forced it to redirect some of its resources to healing the wounds.

The Boundless Light launched an astronomically tremendous onslaught of attacks from

great range, ensuring that the creature had to struggle to land even a single attack on the Dawnbringer.

The other Martial Sages pooled in the sum totality of their power better and better, focusing their attacks as much as possible to inflict as much damage on the creature as they could.

The sum totality of the net firepower of all Martial Sages of human civilization converged upon the monstrous creature, inflicting some damage across its titanic mountain-like body, distracting it just enough from its goal of trying to kill Rui to allow him to survive a barrage of attacks that would have otherwise killed him as well. With each passing second, extremely severe wounds would appear on Rui’s body from the sheer impact the attacks had on him, despite the combination of the Prophecy of the Void and the SOUL. System that allowed him to foresee almost all possible futures, empowered fully by the power of Gigabrain.

And despite that, he was just barely able to emerge alive from each attack. Such was the power of the eldritch chimera.

A single whisper escaped him as the Forge of Creation blazed with life.

In the blink of an eye, one trillion Rui Quarriers appeared out of thin air as Rui cast an extraordinarily powerful hypnotic illusion on the eldritch chimera.

One trillion extraordinarily powerful hypnotic illusions, one on each of the lifeforms

within its body.

He knew from prior experiences with the chimera that it used each brain, cach mind as

a processing unit in a gigantic processing bank.

That left a particularly strategic vulnerability that could be exploited.

All it took was taking all possible futures that he saw and using each possible future to cast a hypnotic illusion on each individual lifeform in the creature’s head, causing each one of them to have a different perception of reality than the others.

This caused the creature’s mind as a whole to perceive Rui in a trillion different places at once, and only one of them was the real Rui, making it almost impossible to distinguish the real Rui from the fake ones.

Ordinarily, creatures this powerful would have powerful senses and instincts, but the chimera was a creature that was a hybrid of countless other lifeforms fused into one, leaving it with a crucial weakness, for all its power, that it could adaptively evolve with the Forge of Creation.

The world shook as a trillion Rui Quarriers from trillion possible futures surged towards the eldritch chimera, leaving the creature almost paralyzed in its attempt to locate the real one. Its eyes flared with an enraged fury as it simply unloaded all of its destructive power in the general direction of the Dawnbringer, hoping to shoot the pesky Martial Sage in his path.

And yet, the act of spreading its power far and wide across the battlefield allowed him to weather it directly, even if it still harmed him significantly despite facing only a microscopic amount of the full power of the eldritch chimera on him.

His eyes sharpened as he surged forth, getting closer and closer. He raced towards the

eldritch chimera at his top speed, arriving at the titanic mountain-like creature with

fearsome speeds as single whisper escaped him.

“Soul Retcon.”

The world shook with peril as he adaptively evolved his very life history, changing the

very canon of who he was as a being in the blink of an eye with the power of the Gigabrain. His mastery of all his techniques was reduced by half while his mastery of the

Gu increased astronomically.

His eyes flared with determination as a tremendous attack with absolute mastery of the Gu poison converged on the eldritch chimera.
